Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. I would say this place is perfect for people who want a central location and can't survive without Indian food. Nana Plaza metro station is a walk, there is great nightlife nearby and the bike taxi's are also available at alking distance. If you are someone who can't survive without Indian food and and doesn't want to put too much effort into finding an Indian restaurant with good food should definitely stay here. Because it is Sukhumvit going anywhere by car during rush hours will be very difficult as the traffic is just crazy.
Got a room on 5th floor and it was spacious. separate living room and a bed room. very comfortable place to stay. Nana metro station is at a walking distance. Good hotel for Indian travelers specially for vegetarians. Property is a bit old so renovation is not a bad idea. Overall we had a comfortable stay
I along with my family had booked this hotel being a club Mahindra member. I had read lot of negative reviews about this place and was worried if this is a good choice for my family. Though I took a risk and let me tell u readers that the place is much better than as read in reviews. Though this hotel is not as luxurious as other resort of club Mahindra which we get in India. But this property is a hotel and not a resort. The travellers who stay here like to explore the country and therefore there are no luxuries as other resort. I checked into the hotel on 24th morning and checked out on 29th. The entire check in and check out process is smooth. The food served in the hotel makes one feel the taste of India. The hotel restaurant plays Hindi music and shows AajTak news so one can be in touch with the India. I agree the restaurant is kinda expensive but the breakfast and lunch/diner package cost about 600 bhat per person. The hotel is just 3 minutes walk from nana bts and hence one saves a lot on travelling. Further the hotel lane is very silent and the entire hustle bustle can be seen near nana bts. The whole experience of stay was gud nothing to complain about. I was allotted a studio which had a living room and a bed room. Staff is very courteous towards the travellers and ready to help. To sum up we had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay here whenever I go to Thailand.
First I was confused before booking the hotel as I was booking online but once been there I was sure that I made a good choice. Spacious room and above all even though being at the centre you are away from crowd. Staff there are very helpful and food is really very tasty.
We stayed in a 1BR room. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There was a clean bath tub in the bathroom . It needs a bit of changing of showers and all as the ones they had were a worn-out. The staff is friendly and helpful and were smiling all the time. The housekeeping guys kept the rooms clean. The restaurant is a bit slow and doesnt have many options for dinner. It has a set menu and that too took and hour to be served inspite of the fact that there were only 3-4 tables occupied. The food and breakfast served were tasty and the chefs did a great job. The hotel is not like your typical Club Mahindra resort. The plus point being it is very close to the BTS sky train( NANA station) and travelling is very easy. There is a night market close by and also 7/11 stores close by. Also street food options are easily available across the street. Terminal 21 is a mall located close by. There is a money exchange centre very close as you move out of the hotel road. Good stay for a week. Centrally located with everything in close proximity. Staff is good and helpful even the chefs come out to have a talk with us and take feedback
I have been here last August 2016, than in Februar 2017 and just a few days ago on May 20th and 23 rd and everytime I think that this is the best bargain you can have in Bkk. The rooms are really big and the reception stuff is great! The Location is amazing as you are within 50 meters on Sukhumvit Soi 11. Obvious that the rooms would need some renovations but any hotel in Bkk needs probably a cleanup as humitidy just kills any nice room. I will go again to Mac when ever I stay in Bkk - so far I dont see any other alternate when being in Sukhumvit
A comfortable hotel with good rooms. We stayed in two bedroom room. Which was very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were also of comfortable size. Food was great. Especially they serve a lot of variety of Indian food with Indian chef around. It's located pretty much in city. Sky train station is very close and easy to travel with. Taxi's are also easily available. There is an evening market street at 5 mins walking distance. And there are also new and old shopping malls nearby. Overall we had a pleasant stay in this hotel, and relished on the food.
Mac Boutique Hotel at the heart of Bangkok is surprising quiet! We stayed in a family suite and it surpasses our expectation. The kids love the clean room and its proximity to the markets. The staff are helpful and very professional. They guided us in every way possible and make our one week stay at Thailand unforgettable
The horror stories here had scared me. The only reason I stayed here was that I had accumulated many Club Mahindra weeks and they would have expired if not used. OK, we had two one-bedroom suites booked and the folks at the hotel provided both of them on the same floor. The rooms were clean and well maintained but nowhere close to Club Mahindra properties in India. But this hotel had other pros, such as a very convenient location, good Wifi even in the rooms, smiling staff, and more. We never used their restaurant so that's one area I will leave out. Bella checked us in, and she was very helpful. We arrived in the morning flight, and one room was provided in half an hour, and the other soon thereafter. Rashmi checked us out, and she was amazing too. We used their taxi service for the airport drop-off, and Banchar from the travel desk was very helpful.
It is a good place to stay, unlike the horror stories mentioned in some earlier reviews. We are pure vegetarian and found the place to be a perfect fit for us.The studio rooms are nice and big,high-ceilings give you a feeling of space. The hotel is not grand in any ways, but rooms and hygiene are upto the mark.Special mention to the staff of the hotel starting from the doorman to the kitchen staff.Special thanks to chef lucky, shiva and the rest of staff who go beyond the call of duty to please the guests. The view from hotel is nothing to rave about but convenience of being in centre of city balances it.
