This is the first hostel myself and my partner stayed in and it set the bar so high. We really didn't know what to expect, but this was a pleasent surprise. Situated on Decho road in the banking district of Bangkok. Super nice area, and close to all transport and ferry terminal. Bed quite comfy, safe and secure, nice atmosphere, great organised activites, facilities quite large and clean also, just to mention this is not a party hostel, it's super chill and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Overall good stay. Pros: very helpful staff who spoke very good English and helped me with a phone call to a booking agency in Thai. Good facilities. Good location. Cons: we were woken up two nights by other guests shouting/banging outside the rooms (I appreciate this is not the hostels fault but something to be aware of if you’re looking for somewhere more quiet and peaceful). Our room was damp - unfortunately it smelt of damp and had damp pillow cases but this didn’t bother us too much. Air con broke and leaked all over our belongings but this was quickly and efficiently resolved by the staff/handyman

Lub D means sleep well in Thai, but I definitely did not spend much time at the hostel as Bangkok is such a happening city! I visited during Songkran, so the city was filled with wet activities. In front of the hostel, people set up a splashing station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though someone brought back a girl to the dormitory to have some fun in the middle of the night, disturbing my sleep.

Great hostel experiences - a chill social hostel with a great location, great building and facilites, excellent wifi, and a fantastic attitude. Literally meets every criteria. The best part was the people - I met some of the best people I've ever met here. 5/5

If you're traveling through Bangkok, want to socialize, want very clean rooms, an I house bar, food for purchase, travel info desk, hot running water and a steady stream of water, and the list goes on. This is the go to! The price is extremely fair for what you get! It's a little out of the way of most markets but it's a great neutral spot in Bangkok!

Lub D is a nice hostel with an excellent staff. We booked Lub D because we wanted to explore this part of Bangkok. We had a nice private Railway room which was a small private with a bunk bed. It had great A/C and it was very clean. The staff was excellent! The breakfast in the morning was a bit overpriced for what you get (for Thai standands) but not too bad. For anyone wanting to stay in this area of Bangkok, I would recommend this hostel.

Like the title says, It's a good hostel but nothing particularly great. Location is decent. Close to the river where you can take boats to other parts of town. A bit of a trip to get to Khao San Road if that's the kind of thing you're wanting to do. Staff was quiet and kept to themselves but very nice and helpful when asked questions. Only has air conditioning in the lobby so the rooms are definitely warm. Overall I did make some good friends here and would stay again.

This is my third time in BKK, and my third time at Lub'd Silom as well. As in my previous trips, the place was conveniently located, well-staffed, and comfortable. Different from before was that I booked via walk-in, and instead of the mixed-dorm that I normally get, I got a private room with a bunk bed in it. It had no windows, which took a little getting used to but ended up working out because I really needed to sleep and the sun was going to get in the way of that. It was nice too, to have a private room for the first time! As always, the facilities are clean and cleaned several times during the day, nice to come back to because it's pretty hot outside in BKK and coming back to a place you are sure will be clean is not overrated. Since I was there for a short while, I had to make sure to do all the important things like sitting and bothering the staff. That never gets old, and Rung even let me try some of her dinner. Thanks Rung!!

We booked a private room for 4 people and ended up in a room for 8 people so we had plenty of space! Clean with aircon and fan. Bathrooms have nice hot showers with shampoo and shower gel. Friendly staff organise group trips around Bangkok including Khao San Road which is fun to see! Located close to the sky train so it's easy to explore the city.

Been in Lub d several times already. Usually arriving early in the morning directly from Bangkok internationnal airport, I'm welcome by the staff at the lobby in Lub d Sillom who's are always so cheerfull and helpfull with the lugguages. Thanks to Rung, who is always so kind to welcome me and have a chat talk with me before going out ahah. The place is very clean, friendly backpackers, convenient showers and comfy beds even in the dorms! Location is great too, from sillom you can take bts or taxi to anywhere in Bangkok. Thanks again to all the Lub D staff, I've known many of them during my time there and it was always been a pleasure. Cheers, Anaël S.
