Check in and checkout very fast. In the middle of Sukhumvit. Convenient to reach major attractions in Bangkok. Restaurants and entertainment close by
The hotel is old and run down, needs a serious renovation but the rooms are big and it's overall pretty good value, the location is fine. we had a leak in our shower higher level rooms are in better condition than lower
Love this hotel Quality stay. Beautiful view of Bangkok from upper floor. Great pool. Close to Asoka and the new terminal 21. And BTS. When leaving for day go out back door street is prettier and easier to walk. Has sidewalks. Great staff

It was fine. The hotel is old, dated design and furnishings, but clean. The staff is good, pleasant. The pool is nice. Location OK. A little expensive.
What do most people want to hear first? The goods, the bad? Let's start with the bad: Waiting sucks as we all hate and all at some point in life have to do it. The hotel will have you wait an unbearable amount of time at check in. No worries if you're not hungry or in a hurry. The building is old. Cool building, just old and looks like it might need some maintenance sooner than later. Speaking of old, you know those Vegas casino that were once empires of the city and now either not there anymore or been walked in too many times. Yup, that's this place to a tee. The smell just reminds me of the days you can smoke in buildings and I can see a lot of people wanting to stay here..years ago. On to the goods: Easy location for walking around, catching a cab or jumping on the rail system. Swimming pool is rooftop heaven. This will make up for any time you missed waiting for a room. The price. Considering its around 1k baht per night if not cheaper. You really have no business "really" complaining. Would I stay here again? Yea with out a doubt. Inexpensive, great location and average service. Ps. Front desk people need some work.
This was my second stay at Windsor Suites, and to be honest, I was a little reluctant to go back there this time. However, the hotel has undergone renovations and the improvements to the room and the overall services at this hotel is remarkable; I was very impressed. I really recommend this hotel, not only for location and price, but for great quality service, value for money, extremely nice suites, QUIET!!!! I love a quiet room and this was by far the most peaceful hotel experience I have had in the heart of Bangkok.
old hotel where internet works not too well, towels are totally washed out,no good tv
I was in BKK for business and I have a Thai wife. Most Thai girls go home annually for a month or so. When my wife came to meet me for a couple of days they charged me $1000. THB per day extra. One early evening I had a business meeting and I had a white male business associate with me I wanted to discuss things in my room with my laptop. They wanted $1000. THB!! I took my laptop elsewhere. What a hassle. What a joke. No way would I stay or recommend anyone stay there. The cleaning ladies were nice and did a nice job.
The lobby area and restaurant/shops are definitely 4 star. The staff was excellent. I had some issues with the safe in the room and they came up minutes after I called and reset it. The rooms are nothing fancy or over the top excellent to get a 4 star rating, but they were more than sufficient for my stay. My cover sheet had a couple small rips but I could tell they were clean. Having a mini fridge was nice. Didn't spend to much time in the room but to sleep and shower. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
The hotel is great due to its staff, clean rooms, location and value. The room was big and the staff did a great job with the housecleaning. The staff also did a good job pointing out directions to points of interest. The location is close to the skytrain/BTS. Additionally, it is close to Terminal 21 shopping mall and a few great restaurants. The cons are the amenities. The pool area could be spruced up and the hotel looks a bit old, The water pressure was not as good but there was plenty of hot water. I would definitely stay here again. Great place to stay for the cost.
Couldn't ask for more considering what I paved. Wonderful staff, great pool and comfortable atmosphere.
Good water pressure and friendly staff. They also have a nice pool. The rest is not so bright. Breakfast was not included, though I thought it was listed as such. The wifi was horrible. It only reached a small part of my room and cut off and on causing you to login in over and over when it even worked. The room was not as nice as the pictures. I can not recommend this hotel, even though the area is a nice place to be for bars and fun.
Hotel is very old. Room is not clean, and worn out. Most terrible is the washroom. Bathtub leaking, walls, toilet bowl & water sink all have black or yellow stains. Staff who came up to check leaked bathtub does not speak English, so we got stuck with this room for our whole trip, 5 nights. manager too busy to come up, and finally we were told there is no spare room to move us due to full house, and not a single word to apologize. When we booked the hotel, free wifi is included in the price. when we checked in the hotel very late at night, and found out we had to pay $15.00/day for wifi. I did not fight with the staff because we were too tired after a 30 hrs flight to Bangkok. The next day I went to the lobby and tried to reason this matter with a manager, we finally were honored a 5-day free wifi at the mercy of that manager. I have been traveling to lot of countries including Asia, Europe, China and North America. By far, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed recently for the past 10 years. The only thing good about this hotel is the location. It's only 5 minutes walking to major shopping center, sky train and subway. Other than that, I will never recommend this hotel.
Good location and good staff. Good value. Nice pool, nice weight room, 2 tvs is room, good size rooms. Food is great in Bangkok. Has number one disco in hotel for young adults. Theres a great bakery in hotel as well. Two blocks from best park in Bangkok; and 3 blocks from best shopping mall, called Paragon.
Windsor Suites No hot water, water leaked all over the bathroom, management was unsympathetic, food sucked, paint and decor of room was old, extra charge for guest in your room, even if a friend comes over for a drink or to watch a game on TV. towels were old, TV and selection was bad, I would never stay there again.. You get what you pay for. Leave your wife at home
The location was pretty good, close to everything. Including transportation: taxi & sky train. Their breakfast was a big buffet and was open really earily so I was able to get a bite before I went out on a tour.
My first visit to Windsor Suites was great: good room, good gym and good breakfast. My second visit was in a considerably lesser room. They said they were full, but I had paid the same charges as my first visit, so expected the same. Not sure if I will choose this hotel again unless I had the room on my first trip. The staff was always nice.
It was difficult to get there first off but it is bangkok. The staff was pretty good someone was always stationed at the doors and the elevators. The maid was very nice and gave us a couple extra towels. The bts was close but there isnt much room the sidewalks are so crowded in that area with vendors and sales people standing everywhere. The room was ok we had a room with a couch sink counter and a room with a bed and the bathroom looked nice. The hot water did work but the shower head was so low i had to hold it to shower with. Our plane left at 1100 pm so we wanted to stay a partial day but they charged us for a whole day and it cost us 20$ more than we payed to stay originally ridiculous. The day shift quoted us a much lower price for a partial day then the night shift mgr said no full price and some go figure...i liked it for the location but at our price 45$ it did not include breakfast but there is a small hotel behind there that is cheap and its all you can eat.We wont go back after they ripped us off.
Hotel and furnishings OK. Air Con could not quite cool the room. TV did not work after it rained, every day. They charge too much for internet access. Weatern food at breakfast was not great. I think there are many better deals for this price.
