Located one of the best areas in Bangkok. I have been in this hotel 3 times and the staffs are very nice and helpful. The restaurant is amazing on the ground floor is amazing. Easy connection to Metro as well. I will definitely come back.
I stayed in this hotel, i had to call maintenance to fix the aircon 4 times and the maintenance people are so inefficient... to make matters worst, the hotel from the lobby, to the restaurants, all the way to the room on the 17th floor has so much mosquitoes...
Did not stay here so can't speak about the rooms at all. The halal restaurant was awesome. We were the only guests in the place (party of 7 people). Food was out of this world, Thai style. Beautifully served. Don't know about the prices (our host footed the bill).
A Decent Comfortable 4 Star Category Hotel , A Little Old But Its just fine and Comfortable... Room Size Quiet large , Large Comfortable Bedding and Soft Pillows , Nice Work Table with Well Stocked Bar and Snacks. Clean bathrooms with Cubicle Showers and Toiletries and a Bath Tub. The Staff are Friendly , Good Restaurants for Multi Cultural Food and they have a very good Buffet , A Convenience Store Near By - The Subway Train is just a few mins away at Ratchada Station. A Nice Balinese SPA All in All a Very Nice Hotel for Budget Travellers and who wants to be away from the Regular Sukhumvit and Silom Areas.
The room is quite good but it seems like an ancient hotel.breakfast is quite delicious. The staffs are friendly. the hall for meeting is quite good but, the chairs are not enough.even the dinner is not really good
I have been on business trips and stayed in this establishment 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I am not sure is it because I booked via Expedia, the smile, greetings and even the items in the room are discounted. I had to request for toothbrush and shaver. Even coffee was not refilled My first visit I had huge stone in my fried rice which I ordered in the restaurant. It was a dry apology and my fried rice was replaced. I paid for it and I feel it could have been handled better My second visit I found roaches in the room. I checked in again, my 3rd time and probably my last due to business needs It needs to be refreshed with new and youthful staffs
Overall it's a neat place to stay. Rooms are clean and the environment is quiet. Shower's water pressure was low and TV channels are about 98% in Thai language with only about 2 channels in English and reception was quite bad. Couple of restaurant selections and a minimart right next to the hotel. Nothing much happening surrounding the area. To the right, mostly furniture shops. To the left, MRT (Ratchadapisek) is within a short walking distance to bring you around the hearts of the city and 1 small shopping complex about 10 minutes walk. There are several food stalls opens beside the street early morning for you to grab some local street delights. So, a decent place to stay.
Visiting here again remind me of the past of how know and luxury this hotel was. Room is a bit old fashioned but well cleaned. They provided basic amenities in the room, huge car park, tea and coffee and so on. You cant avoid the traffic even the location is a bit out of centre of BKK. Anyway most of staffs are nice and friendly
Excellent varieties of dishes. A few choices of porridge to choose from. Very teochew style dishes. Food cook on the spot. Just order on the spot. The restaurant is located next building from the hotel. 3 min walk from BTS.
Tired hotel with ragged towels, no wash cloths and second rate on everything else. You have to insert your room key into a panel on the wall to turn on lights. A major problem if there is more than one person staying in a room since they only issue 1 key card. Staff BARELY speaks English. When you ask them a question, they smile, repeat your question back to you and say "yes". That may be charming at first, but it wears thin very quickly when you are trying to figure out how to navigate your stay. I would not stay here again. Just ONE person that we could communicate with would have been a great asset. A big PASS for me.
