stayed with my whole family - 10 of us. dated hotel but will all the required facilities. rooms are quite big, bathrooms are huge with a shower head and a tub. breakfast was a big spread but the place was crowded. staff is average. location is not great
Chaophya Park Hotel. It is a beautiful and shady place. There are clean spacious and beautiful rooms.and stay safe here.Staff are Polite. Chaophya Park Hotel is Delicious especially Chiness food.At the time, every restaurant has a promotion.
If you looking for affordability its a value hotel. Its not 4 star in my eyes maybe when it first opened but not now. Close to MRT station which it needs to be as there is nothing nearby the hotel. I know my way round Bangkok so it was no problem. Resturants are OK. Bedding is just way too hard for me. After two rough nights trying to sleep I ask reception if all bedding the same and could possibly change rooms. Advised they were all the same which is disappointing as seen in past comments management were looking at changing bedding out. TV reception is poor on a lot of channels and only a couple of english ones which I normally would never watch anyway. Company had booked a hotel car to take me to the office. Told I had to pay 500 baht when I know its not even 80 Baht trip. Hence easier to flag a cab. But if you want a value hotel its reasonable. However for a few $$ more there are lots of options closer to town. Due to stay 14 days but will be checked out after 2.
A great place to stay. I had a pre-arranged trip and ended up staying at Chaophya. The location was a disappointment, as a matter of fact. Though the hotel wasn't far from the MRT, and thus, it was easy to go to the center of the city. Besides, all the local staffs were nice. They were willing to help with the request, from cab arrangement to tips for the travel. Very friendly people, indeed.
The hotel is easy to get to with a taxi and once there, it is a short walk to the underground system (MRT). The staff at check in were very friendly, the room, is dated, but very clean. Airco works great, lots of really hot water in the shower. The TV has lots of western channels. Breakfast the first day was terrible, due to the fact they must have had a convention and there were huge lines for every type of food, a huge let down. The second day, we went one hour later and the breakfast room was not full, easy to find a clean table and there is every type of breakfast you can think off. The restaurant, for lunch or dinner is very good and not expensive. One disappointing thing was the doormen who opened the doors, were always talking to each other even when they opened the doors for you and never welcomed you. Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay there and would return
I have stayed at this hotel for a week at a time on al least 7 occasions in last 15 years and had absolutely no complaints about the rooms or service. The hotel is 500 mts from the MRT which takes you onto Sukhumvit at Soi Asoke at the MRT/ BTS interchange. The area is quiet and away from the melee of Sukhumvit. The breakfast choice was excellent. WiFi worked well too and staff were very helpful. I will definitely stay there again in 2018.
We stay one night from 26-27 January 2017 in the standard room. We got 2 twin beds. The beds were a bit hard but ok for 1 night. Check in was fast. We got wifi password and it works well. We had massage at the hotel which is located on the other building. The massage we had wasn't perfect but not too bad. The hotel is very old but for the price we paid it is reasonable.
I stayed in this hotel twice, first time on December 2016 for 2 nights after my arrival to Bangkok. Everything was fine during first stay, I guess we just got lucky with room we got. I returned back to the same hotel on January 5th before my departure from Bangkok planning to stay one night in this hotel. Room that was given to us had a terrible mouldy smell in it and after turning on light I could see couple moths sitting on walls and next to ceilings, and floor was wet because ceilings were leaking. Of course we went to reception and asked to change a room. When bell boy opened doors for second room and turned on lights he apparently scared some cockroaches who were running away and tried to hide. No surprise we needed to change a room for 3rd time. Last room was fine, similar to the one we had during our first stay, bit mouldy smell but at least no wildlife.. Definitely this is not a 4* hotel more feels like 2*. Not to mention there is nothing around the hotel (stores, massages etc.) and warnings everywhere about pick-pocketing and motorists stealing handbags..
I don't have anything to say much about this hotel. It is an old hotel on the busy road in Bangkok. Nothing around in the area that I can go for a walk. I have to take a subway to the shopping mall. Just an average hotel.
This is for Bangkok just an average four star hotel. Nothing is truly bad about it except perhaps the very boring limited menu at the main restaurant, and a very regular breakfast, considering that breakfast is usually fantastic in Thailand hotels of this class. The hotel is not " grand" but is well appointed and quite clean. Staff is attentive. Rooms are of average size, with good ammenities and so are bathrooms with a very convenient separate shower cabin. Wi fi was not working in my room but I obtained a separate router from the front desk. The absolutely worst part of the whole stay in this hotel are the bed mattresses. They are truly hard as wood boards! After 2 unconfortable nights I solved The problem by using all pillows to make an overbed and it was possible to wake up without aching bones. I have slept in hundreds of hotel beds and this was the second worst experience. The location of this hotel is far from the city centre .
