Very well located, flat with space and very well equipped. Smiling people at front desk. I have not tried the restaurant for lunch and dinner but breakfast choice was good. Wifi is fast enough to work and videos. We have used the lounge with complementary drinks, food and meeting rooms. What else?
Cape house is really in the convenient location, which is only 5 minutes walk away from Chidlom BTS and the shopping centre. The room was clean and comfort, the service is very good and friendly staff, Especially the staff at the Business centre are very helpful. I would love to stay here again
The Cape House is a near-pertect hotel! The location is amazing--a five-minute walk to the nearest train station and a ten-minute walk to a huge department store that connects with two major shopping malls. The service at the Cape House is wonderful, especially the laundry which allows three pieces per day washed and pressed at no charge. The apartment we rented for a month was pretty, quiet, light-filled, and comfortable. The Cape House has the usual amenities and a few other niceties not available at other hotels like the free coffee/appetizer buffet on the 15th floor with great views of the city, as well as the free newspapers delivered to one's door every day. We have stayed in four other similarly priced hotels in Bangkok which were all OK in their way but none compare with the charming, homey atmosphere of the Cape House. We recommend it highly!
I used to walk past this service apartment many times during Bangkok trips. Observed how nice their lobby was but mistakenly thought they were a condominium at first. Recently I found out they are a service apartment that travellers could book and gave them a try instead of our usual few hotels. Here are the findings; 1. Location I personally love Lang Suan road. Its just off the main Sukhomvit road where all the malls, food and activity is, yet Lang Suan is alot quieter, beautifully tree-lined with some lovely spas and cafes. Don't be fooled by it's quieter surroundings however, you can easily find food, massages and shopping via a short walk. The BTS (MRT/above ground subway) is located about 6 minutes walk and there are two small malls close by with ample food and drinks. There's also a beautifully restored old Thai house that's been turned into a Starbucks. We booked via their website on a pre-payment offer that made it a very good deal relative to the standard of room they offer and their prime location. 2. The Accomodation The rooms come with the de-facto kitchens, big toilets, a living room and a bedroom. The beds are on the firm side, which may suit those who have back problems and prefer stiff mattresses. You get to keep a lovely little bear by the bedside btw. Rooms are kept very clean and there is room service. The staff are very friendly but know when to give you your privacy and space. Lobby is quiet, cool and relaxing. There is a very good restaurant on the ground floor that serves a popular lunchtime Italian and Thai buffet (Italian and Thai combination, interesting yeah?). Reservations are highly recommended beforehand as it's very popular with the local Thais that work around the area as well as socialite types. One small thing I would like to add as a regular traveller there to other fellow travellers: yes Bangkok is a warm city, but do try to dress properly instead of sloppy shorts and tank-tops. It is not a beach resort area but a modern city with posh malls and restaurants. Despite the heat you'll notice the locals make the effort to dress properly, with only children wearing shorts and slippers. We respect them in order to earn their respect too
The service at Cape House is very good. The rooms are decent size at the studio level - we were upgraded to a studio and the regular room would have been quite small for any long stay. We only stayed two nights. Overall everything was good. The bathrooms was a little old as was the kitchen but the rest of the room is well furnished and comfortable. In this price range, this is what you can expect. Other similar serviced apartments have similar issues in terms of being a bit dated. The best thing about Cape House is it's location. The area is one of the most expensive residential areas of the city. BTS is close by and many shopping and dining options are within walking distance.
Cape House Bangkok is located in a quiet area, but very close to a Sky Train station and a small shopping mall. The apartment was spacious with a comfortable bed and a small kitchenette and a living room. The bathroom was large, but a bit worn out, and could have used better cleaning. The rest of the apartment was cleaner. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was included in the room rate. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast. There is also a club lounge, which we were able to use. Also the pool area was great.
I can't think of a reason to not fall in love with Cape House. I have used Cape House Hua Hin in my last stay (which is wonderful as well) but Cape House Bangkok really makes an outstanding difference. I am a frequent visitor of Bangkok and in each of my visit I want to try something new. So far this is not only my best stay in Bangkok but in all countries that I have been to - I guess I won't want to pick a new hotel in my next visit. Below are some of the highlights of my stay: 1- The hotel has a very boutique feel. If you are into something small but luxury, intimate and comfortable, this is your ideal choice. I tried some other 5 star hotel but decided that those with over 200 rooms are a bit too much- you simply get lost in the crowd. At Cape House, everyone smiles and welcomes you from the moment you arrive to the moment you depart, from the professional receptionist to the staff who overlooks gyms and pool area. They seem always ready to serve in a friendly way. 2- The room is very spacious, and very reasonably priced. I got a studio that has a living space, a bedroom, kitchen with kitchenette, washing machine and great view of the city. What else can I ask for? Bangkok has many great serviced apartment but Cape House is really cozy that feels like a home away from home (the only downside is the bathroom which can get some renovation but the rest is just perfect). 3- Location is the best that I can find in the city: only minutes walk from Chidlom station, 1km from Central World and other great malls, 3 stations from Airport Express interchange and 3 stations from Terminal 21. Food Loft (Central Chidlom) is 4 minute away. There are at least 4 massage parlours and spas around the hotel. 7-11 is is just across the street (and surrounded by great street food too). Near the hotel there is also a health food store (called Lemon) with organic food and extremely good salad and fair trade products mainly from Thailand. And most perfectly, the area around the hotel is paved with green trees and gardens, which is quite rare for central Bangkok. Cape House also treats my stay nicely with some surprise gifts for my anniversary. I did not ask for this as I just simply put in my request form that I want a room with view as this is my anniversary. But the cake, the welcome notes and the teddy bear really set a lovely mood for the stay. I am sorry for this long review but really cannot thank the staff at Cape House enough for the great stay and memories in the last few days. I won't hesitate to recommend the hotel to all my family, friends and colleagues and stay here on my future visits.
We have made countless trips to Bangkok and have kept going back to Cape House Bangkok. Its just off Chidlom BTS station and is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok but close enough to provide easy convenience to all places of interest, food and shopping in Bangkok city. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The 15th floor Executive Lounge is a wonderful place of rest and relaxation. Breakfast at No 43 Italian Bistro offers good variety. The must-haves are the wonderful croissants and local Thai porridge.
Best place for me in Bangkok. Comfortable, clean and convenient. I would recommend staying here for anyone, especially traveller with kids. The one bedroom is simply perfect. We have always stayed here whenever we're in Bangkok.
The location is great, the accommodations are fantastic, love the breakfast buffet, and the nicest staff. Cape House exceeded our expectations - will definitely stay here again next time we're in Bangkok.
