Cape House Bangkok is located in a quiet area, but very close to a Sky Train station and a small shopping mall. The apartment was spacious with a comfortable bed and a small kitchenette and a living room. The bathroom was large, but a bit worn out, and could have used better cleaning. The rest of the apartment was cleaner. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was included in the room rate. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast. There is also a club lounge, which we were able to use. Also the pool area was great.
I can't think of a reason to not fall in love with Cape House. I have used Cape House Hua Hin in my last stay (which is wonderful as well) but Cape House Bangkok really makes an outstanding difference. I am a frequent visitor of Bangkok and in each of my visit I want to try something new. So far this is not only my best stay in Bangkok but in all countries that I have been to - I guess I won't want to pick a new hotel in my next visit. Below are some of the highlights of my stay: 1- The hotel has a very boutique feel. If you are into something small but luxury, intimate and comfortable, this is your ideal choice. I tried some other 5 star hotel but decided that those with over 200 rooms are a bit too much- you simply get lost in the crowd. At Cape House, everyone smiles and welcomes you from the moment you arrive to the moment you depart, from the professional receptionist to the staff who overlooks gyms and pool area. They seem always ready to serve in a friendly way. 2- The room is very spacious, and very reasonably priced. I got a studio that has a living space, a bedroom, kitchen with kitchenette, washing machine and great view of the city. What else can I ask for? Bangkok has many great serviced apartment but Cape House is really cozy that feels like a home away from home (the only downside is the bathroom which can get some renovation but the rest is just perfect). 3- Location is the best that I can find in the city: only minutes walk from Chidlom station, 1km from Central World and other great malls, 3 stations from Airport Express interchange and 3 stations from Terminal 21. Food Loft (Central Chidlom) is 4 minute away. There are at least 4 massage parlours and spas around the hotel. 7-11 is is just across the street (and surrounded by great street food too). Near the hotel there is also a health food store (called Lemon) with organic food and extremely good salad and fair trade products mainly from Thailand. And most perfectly, the area around the hotel is paved with green trees and gardens, which is quite rare for central Bangkok. Cape House also treats my stay nicely with some surprise gifts for my anniversary. I did not ask for this as I just simply put in my request form that I want a room with view as this is my anniversary. But the cake, the welcome notes and the teddy bear really set a lovely mood for the stay. I am sorry for this long review but really cannot thank the staff at Cape House enough for the great stay and memories in the last few days. I won't hesitate to recommend the hotel to all my family, friends and colleagues and stay here on my future visits.
We have made countless trips to Bangkok and have kept going back to Cape House Bangkok. Its just off Chidlom BTS station and is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok but close enough to provide easy convenience to all places of interest, food and shopping in Bangkok city. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The 15th floor Executive Lounge is a wonderful place of rest and relaxation. Breakfast at No 43 Italian Bistro offers good variety. The must-haves are the wonderful croissants and local Thai porridge.
Best place for me in Bangkok. Comfortable, clean and convenient. I would recommend staying here for anyone, especially traveller with kids. The one bedroom is simply perfect. We have always stayed here whenever we're in Bangkok.
The location is great, the accommodations are fantastic, love the breakfast buffet, and the nicest staff. Cape House exceeded our expectations - will definitely stay here again next time we're in Bangkok.
My husband & I enjoyed our 2nd stay here very much - we 1st stayed here 3 years ago! We were upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite on arrival & found the suite to be what we remembered; very comfortable & clean, albeit a couple of the furnishings were slightly worn out. Again, we loved the complimentary bear which greeted us in the suite! The executive lounge was still very lovely & the air-conditioning was still as cold as we recalled! This trip we managed to use the pool & jacuzzi & found the experience quite relaxing after a day of shopping. Service was excellent all-round! Reception staff were very pleasant & efficient; assisted us with our wifi access issues immediately & very attentive right till they were resolved. Kudos to the friendly doorman/concierge who got the door for us all the time! Similarly, service was prompt & courteous at both breakfast & executive lounge. Food quality at executive lounge seemed to be better this time, especially as some of the pastries were kept warm. In addition, there seemed to be a greater variety of food offered which were quickly replenished. Unfortunately the coffee machine was not fully functional during our stay & could not dispense anything other than black coffee, but that was only a minor glitch; there were a variety of teas to choose from instead. The breakfast buffet was also yummy with a good variety to choose from. We had a free lunch buffet thrown in for the package that we paid - the seafood pasta which was served to us was really well-done. Hopefully we'll be back again soon!
We stayed 2 nights at cape house and wish we could have spent more time here. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was decorated beautifully with great amenities. Very roomy for 2 people. Washroom had separate bathtub and shower. Very comfortable bed. Full kitchen with washing machine but take note they do not have a dryer.. however clothes hang dry quick in BKK. We really liked the fitness center as it had an Olympic bar. The outdoor swimming pool is large enough to do some laps and the whirlpool was nice as well. Good locker facilities in the fitness area. The executive lounge is awesome. Great snacks and drinks, and lots of comfortable couches and seating. We really enjoyed the breakfast that came with our booking. Lots of variety of Asian and western choices. Eggs made fresh to order. Checking in and out was smooth. They do ask you to wait around while they do a final check of the room but that was useful as we had informed us we had actually left something in there by accident. Location of the hotel is great. 6 min walk to BTS station and street food choices right outside the door. Walking distance to platinum mall area. Massage place next door as well as convenient stores. 100% would recommend and stay again.
Have stayed there several times and it's always been extremely enjoyable. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are in excellent shape – – clean and comfortable. We had a kitchen that was very well supplied which made our stay most comfortable. And the restaurant downstairs had an excellent breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. The hotel is located on a great street that has just about everything you need – – a Starbucks up the street, several malls at the end of the street and the Villa market very close by that has everything you could possibly need. A very pleasurable hotel
We chose the Cape House for a 2 night stay, March 30-31. The property is based on a serviced apartment concept. We reserved a studio, but we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival :-). Check in was professional and efficient. The suite was tastefully furnished, comfortable and spotless. In the bedroom, we enjoyed an amazing view of the skyline. Breakfast was included in our rate, and it offered an outstanding selection of western, Thai, and Japanese choices. The location was perfect for exploring the sights and shopping of Pathum Wan and Rachathewi. We look forward to returning to the Cape House on our next visit to Bangkok.
Being the 6th time we've stayed at Cape House says it all. Still the same, clean, comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice for all the different nationalities that stay there. There was building work going on around the hotel, but it was no detriment to our stay and it didn't interfere with our sleep. Hopefully, fingers crossed, we'll be back again in 2018..
