I've been coming back to this hotel since my first trip in 2015. Location and price are the main draws but the services and the rooms upkeep are great as well. The beds are comfortable and there's a day lounge in every room. View from the window is nothing to shout about though. The staffs are friendly and always ready to serve.
Housekeeping was poor...waste from previous occupant were not removed until the day we left. Toothbrushes and towels should come in pair for Twin Bed room but you'll have to request for it. Reason given by the Reception, "we don't know how many person will stay in the room". I guess this is just an excuse. We've booked 6 rooms with 12 persons much earlier and they knew it. Even complimentary water are not replenished daily and soiled towels are not replaced, either they are lazy or what? If not for its location and close proximity to BTS and shopping...I would never ever want to come back to this hotel.
The supervisor and one of the girls behind the reception on the 21st April noon were so rude and unprofessional with us, I find them discriminating and arrogant, we confirmed a normal room and the request for a king size bed was confirmed prior to our travel, upon reaching the girl and the supervisor offering us a different smelly room and told us if we don't like it you can cancel your booking.com reservation. Requested to contact the GM but nobody turned out, unprofessional hospitality, they were giving out welcome drink like we were on a kiosk on the street, later a girl comes out don't remember her name pulled out a key to a upgraded deluxe room, after we checked in the room had a sewage odor from the bathroom and the housekeeping staff did not make any changes except spraying air freshener, no one cares in this hotel, only plus is its close to the BTS station....I would not return to this hotel or recommend it. Terrible experience.
I stayed in this hotel in December 2016. Although it is a bit outdated, the room was confortable as well as the pool and the breakfast area. All the staff were very professional and friendly. Location is great.
Cons: Old construction. Neutral: Breakfast not superb but ok. Also the breakfast place when I visited was a temporary facility so looked gloomy with no natural light. Pro: Great housekeeping . Efficient reception . Good price. When my locker didn't work they promptly helped me change the room and also went around looking for the right steam iron. 5* for housekeeping staff. And superb location - right next to Phrom Phong skytrain station and Emporium Emquarteir mall with scores of eating and shopping options.
Good Hotel with convenience location. Staff was friendly. Many good restaurants nearby and also a big shopping centre. Near to BTS. Clean was big and clean and staff was very helpful in any problems you may face.
A 5 day 4 nights trip over the English New Year 2017. Cleanliness, Clear Communication and Courtesy. Smooth check in ably handled by Ms Wauvee. They serve a cold refreshing welcome drink thats very palatable. Large smoke free room and exceptionally clean for this level of hotel. The hallways are large, well lit, clean, with a central void. This reduces communication clutter with neighbors. The senior chambers lady & their team worked exceptionally well in keeping the room clean. The buffet is surprisingly quite well stocked & the chef at the eggs station cooks a consistently well done omelette....and deftly handled. Yes, We would stay in hotel again and it is tucked away from the main street. The hotel gives you a discount voucher for their small cafe, which serves quite a good quiche. There are few restaurants nearby. An Italianish type of cafe which we stopped by for a cup of coffee. On the way to the Emporium shopping center you shall pass by an old western type cafe that serves a good sausage and bacon for a 3 US dollars and it comes with coffee. Recommended to drop by for affordable meals. Only one grouse that still rankles till today. A loud blaring New Year Eve party at the pool below that continued well past midnight 12.00. Like a constant freight train with high decibel level. The apologetic duty manager Mr Aekkarluck mentioned the hotel was full and would try to arrange another room probably an hour or two later, which meant it would be 2.00 am in the morning.Which we declined and stayed in our room No 1908. Needless to say that night was a total wreck. There was no sensitivity displayed by the organisers bearing in mind the nearby hotels and centers had reduced public activities in view of the mourning period. Suggest to check with the hotel on any activities and request for a room on the rear of the building and not the front. Cheers.
very poor front office services, that was taken more then 30 minuetes for registration to get room and the receiption guy asked me to pay even though that i had pay online of 2 rooms i had booked until i show the bill of my payment. My room was included breakfast but after pass on front restaurant office when i was taking my meals someone told me in a voice rather large so that everyone knows that my room not included breakfast, so i need to go to receiption on lobby from 9th floor only to clarify this issue, after i shown my bill and they allow me to have breakfast. no apology from them, this is ridiculous. i am member of accor hotels and this hotel also manage by accor but the services was not accor standar where i ever stayed in other city/country Very poor services, bad communication and i will never stay in this hotel again if any others trip to Bangkok.
First the room is so small and when I checked in they need deposit of 5000 baht, hotel no breakfast and the lift is spoiled. Not worth the price and experience. Luckily I bought enough cash with me and the best part is this hotel cannot cancel when booked. I will not come here again. Very poor hotel not worth the stars. And have smell when I enter the room.
Visit to this hotel was to attend the Annual Day Function of Ramakrishna Vedanta Association of Thailand on 19 March 2017. Two monks spoke. Their Talks were indeed inspiring. A local Buddhist monk released two books of Swami Vivekananda translated to Thai. Supper at the hotel okay.
