I stayed maybe 5 times at this hotel and almost have seen all the types of room it offers. I'm coming here for two main reasons: price and location. The hotel is ideally located at the end of a small street which is directly linked to Sukhumvit Road. It is then silent but also ideally located next to bars, restaurants (Soi 11) or shopping areas (Terminal 21). The rooms in themselves are OK for the price, with comfortable bed. I would recommend this hotel for short stay travelers with small budget who wish to stay in the city enter.

This hotel looks certainly better on the pics then in real life. Also the service is not what it should be. I did send some e-mail with questions about payment. I never did receive an answer. I think because there is nobody who's English is good enough. I come to Bangkok 5 times a year so i know what i can get for my money. Well; it's the first and last time i booked this hotel or any other hotel of the aspira group!

Decided to try this hotel for the second time in 12 months. My previous stay wasn't great and I thought I'd give them another chance. Unfortunately it didn't deliver :( many of the problems still exist. However its purely the cheap price that made me give them another try. The good (yes there are some) Nestled right up soi 13 which is quite a walk from the bts. The hotel tries to market itself as a hipster boutique hotel. There is a full service breakfast which is pretty average but at that price it is acceptable. The pool itself is quite funky however the 4x sun beds and wooden planks are in need of dire work. The rooms are of decent size. The corridors are probably the nicest part of the hotel. They also have a shuttle bus that runs every hour apparently The bad As many have previously mentioned there seems to be a moldy smell coming from a lot of rooms. My room didn't smell that great but I may have been paranoid from the previous reviews It looks like the customer service skills are still pretty bad. Like last time there were 2 to 3 reception staff. With only two customers including my self. I placed my belonging on the lobby desk to check in and was totally ignored by all staff until I said something. The following day. I went to breakfast and was asked what room. I replied "207". To which I got told my room wasnt on the list. I had a look at the list and it had only 3 rooms on them. None of them mine. I called reception from the phone nearby and it took them a few minutes to even find my name on the entire hotel system. Once again I thought the line was dead and I said hello a few times and was ignored. They asked me my room number which I replied "207" to which they said you're not 207 you're 208. (see photo) I was asked to come downstairs and showed them my agoda recipet which stated breakfast included. Which I did. Their copy of the records showed my room had no breakfast. To which I got told I needed a recipet or voucher. I replied this is the voucher. I then get told it had to be a printed copy. I told them "phones don't print paper, but if you want me to print out this recipet I can". In the end they said to have breakfast but at this point it was passing the 20minute mark. I was running short on time for a flight! Oh and don't forget the 500 CASH ONLY room deposit Your hotel really needs to address customer concerns or you may not have many customers

Stayed for 2 nights due to being late for my flight. The hotel has clean rooms, nice staff and a swimming pool with a view over Sukhumvit. However, it is located quite far from the bts, and the hotel tuk tuk only goes once an hour. The housekeeping ladies were quite loud in the morning, banging the doors and woke me up. Rooms aren't exactly soundproof. Other than that, the Aspira Hiptique is alright.

There's no roof top bar as described I don't know if it is maybe undergoing a make over or whatever but the place was a bit of a mess. The pool area is tiny there is only 4 sun loungers with no other chairs. You don't get the sun at the pool either. The room is okay and the location is decent there's a shuttle service every hour until 8pm to the sky train which is handy.

I stayed at the Aspira Hiptique twice, each for 2 nights, with a week to separate my visits. The first time was amazing! Comfy beds, friendly staff, hot water, small pool but cozy, good internet. There were no problems at all! The second time, however, was a different story. I had a problem with the AC in my room, and as the room has no windows I was sweating and had troubles breathing. The water was also not good (freezing or boiling) and I couldn't shower. The minibar wasn't working. I found toe-nail clippings in my room as well- the girl at the front desk thought it was funny and said that it happens some times. The manager offered to compensate with a non-fresh breakfast buffet. I reported all of the above and was told they could find a new room for me the next day after 12. I was sitting in the lobby from 9am till 11:30am when they found me a room. The new room had again- a bad minibar- and it was located in the middle of the floor, where the routers of the internet cannot reach it. I complained about the minibar and the internet but nothing was done. More people stayed in the hotel and it was fully booked- meaning you'd have to wait over 7-8 minutes for the lift each time, and the poolside/smoking area was crowded. The minute I showed one complaint the staff became very not friendly to me. I paid about 80 dollars for 2 nights that I didn't sleep in, nor showered in, and lost a client due to the internet not working. The cleaning staff walks with walky-talkies and they are extremely loud. One time the girl left for a break and left the cleaning cart outside my door with the walky on, it was 1 hour of constant noise in 6am!!!!

700 mtrs from the main shukhuvit road so best get a motor bike from the bottom of soi 13 had shower no shower curtain so all the water went on the floor making it very slippery so that to be careful of. I told the cleaners and they just brought me some towels to soak up the water! ! The sink was in a unusually place and the mirror to the right on the wall? ? Bed and pillows were really good. Swimming pool very small with only about 5 sunbeds. Tried the place but not again was not impressed at all.

Was a lovely hotel just a bit far but still good walking distance, only round the corner from above eleven which is good. Also a good grill up the road which you must try the rooms are really nice and value for money the staff are well mannered and will do anything possible, will recommend.

Ok so it's Christmas Day today and we've arrived at the hotel it's a ten minute walk from the BTS. The room was smelly and unclean. Tried to charge 500bht for early check in. Got new room no hot water and have been told no hot water till tomorrow as the maintenance has gone home. It's not the worst hotel I've stayed in but I definitely won't be coming back and seriously thinking of cutting my losses and finding a new hotel.

The hotel comes with a competitive price. From the booking websites, we saw good pictures of its pool and also found the location quite convenient. Thus we booked one night in here before heading out to Surat Thani. Although we had a good experience in the pool and its bar cum cafe but things changed when we entered our room. First of all the AC wasn't working at all. Note that most of the rooms in this property do not have a window in its rooms. We felt suffocated inside and thus got down to talk to the guy in reception. it took us almost 20+ minutes of effort to wake him up from sleep. I guess he was still sleeping when he was fixing our AC. He did something with the remote and then left but unfortunately the AC was still not working. We somehow spent three more hours before we could head out to the airport. Moreover, the said Tuk Tuk service to Nana BTS wasn't there and the hotel did not accept credit cards as it said. Very disappointed with the property. Not recommended unless you ran out of options.
