Stayed here for three nights in May, it would appear that the rooms and communal areas a little tired and dated I would say the positives are it’s value for money and in a good location for nightlife and bars.
I stayed in this slightly quirky hotel and enjoyed the (small but warm) swimming pool on the roof, and the unusual room layout (which has the sink in the actual room and not in the bathroom. The bed was fine, all was clean, and facilities in the room generally nice. Water, tea and coffee all in the room. I didn't like the shower-over-bath arrangement which meant that the floor of the bathroom was mostly covered in water, and the shower gel wasn't a smell I enjoyed. I could hear other guests through the walls at times.
I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and friends. Hotel is in good location. All good bars and restaurant are nearby just 5 minutes walk, able to spend night life.Staff are always ready to help. "Hotel"Good value for money.
Positive: The hotel is located close to good bars and restaurants, and because it is located in the end of a street, there are not much traffic outside the hotel. Quiet at night. The bed was not so bad, and we got clean towels and cleaning every day (even though they never changed the sheets during the whole week). AC worked, big shower and working fridge. Reasonable price. Negative: The room seemed old and has not been cleaned properly for many many years. It has not been maintained good at all. Looked much better at the pictures. We had paid for breakfast included, but after trying it the first morning, we never ate there again. The cutlery, plates and cups were dirty, the milk was sour, and almost no food to choose between. The reception would not order a taxi for us, so we had a big problem finding one. We never used the pool, because it looked dirty, and it was really small. The sunbeds were more or less broken (new in the 80's maybe). The bar on the roof did not exist any more.
Me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights and we like it !! All the night markets, pubs and resturants were nearby, very good hospitality and staff well tried to speak english though its hard for them to speak!!
Don't choose this hotel just because it has a pool. The pool is very dirty and not very welcoming Our room is smelly and has no windows, which is a shame. The bed is very good tho It was also weird arriving here. We weren't shown to our room and had no informations about the facilities, such as the pool, the bar or the restaurant
Great Hotel. Location is good up a side street. No traffic noise. Meaning a good night sleep. Free tuk tuk service to sukhumvit road. Hotel as a nice pool on roof to look over city, with a nice restaurant next to it. The Rooms are in the small size but are quite. has large comfy beds. room has shower. This hotel is ok for short stay 4 - 5 day. This is a great hotel you should try. I paid 1000 baht per night. no room for wardrobe.
I stayed maybe 5 times at this hotel and almost have seen all the types of room it offers. I'm coming here for two main reasons: price and location. The hotel is ideally located at the end of a small street which is directly linked to Sukhumvit Road. It is then silent but also ideally located next to bars, restaurants (Soi 11) or shopping areas (Terminal 21). The rooms in themselves are OK for the price, with comfortable bed. I would recommend this hotel for short stay travelers with small budget who wish to stay in the city enter.
This hotel looks certainly better on the pics then in real life. Also the service is not what it should be. I did send some e-mail with questions about payment. I never did receive an answer. I think because there is nobody who's English is good enough. I come to Bangkok 5 times a year so i know what i can get for my money. Well; it's the first and last time i booked this hotel or any other hotel of the aspira group!
Decided to try this hotel for the second time in 12 months. My previous stay wasn't great and I thought I'd give them another chance. Unfortunately it didn't deliver :( many of the problems still exist. However its purely the cheap price that made me give them another try. The good (yes there are some) Nestled right up soi 13 which is quite a walk from the bts. The hotel tries to market itself as a hipster boutique hotel. There is a full service breakfast which is pretty average but at that price it is acceptable. The pool itself is quite funky however the 4x sun beds and wooden planks are in need of dire work. The rooms are of decent size. The corridors are probably the nicest part of the hotel. They also have a shuttle bus that runs every hour apparently The bad As many have previously mentioned there seems to be a moldy smell coming from a lot of rooms. My room didn't smell that great but I may have been paranoid from the previous reviews It looks like the customer service skills are still pretty bad. Like last time there were 2 to 3 reception staff. With only two customers including my self. I placed my belonging on the lobby desk to check in and was totally ignored by all staff until I said something. The following day. I went to breakfast and was asked what room. I replied "207". To which I got told my room wasnt on the list. I had a look at the list and it had only 3 rooms on them. None of them mine. I called reception from the phone nearby and it took them a few minutes to even find my name on the entire hotel system. Once again I thought the line was dead and I said hello a few times and was ignored. They asked me my room number which I replied "207" to which they said you're not 207 you're 208. (see photo) I was asked to come downstairs and showed them my agoda recipet which stated breakfast included. Which I did. Their copy of the records showed my room had no breakfast. To which I got told I needed a recipet or voucher. I replied this is the voucher. I then get told it had to be a printed copy. I told them "phones don't print paper, but if you want me to print out this recipet I can". In the end they said to have breakfast but at this point it was passing the 20minute mark. I was running short on time for a flight! Oh and don't forget the 500 CASH ONLY room deposit Your hotel really needs to address customer concerns or you may not have many customers
