Room was OK. Food was fair. Wifi was below average.

Served the purpose for a place to stay to see the Canadian Rockies. Hotel needs to improve food selections and pay more attention to cleanliness, ( noted a lot of dust on furnitures, under bed need vacuuming) , keeping updated with maintaining integrity of the room . The staff helpful with what was ask of them.

The room was very good with modern amenities. The hotel staff at the front desk are another matter. Need to go to school to learn about customer service and lose the "indifferent" attitude. Restaurant staff was good as was the quality of the food on the menu. Food at the continental breakfast buffet needs work

guy that checked us in was fine. the other fellow needs to improve his disposition or not be in a c/s situation. had to ask for towels as they didn't have the correct amount. liked the breakfast option of using the coupon towards a paid meal. very good !!! area was extremely windy. a windbreaker would've been nice. even the teepee fell down. location is very remote - did not like this part but first time to this area.

The only things going for this hotel are the location - 10 mins from Canmore - and the fact it is a new property so the rooms are still clean, modern, well kept. Other than that the staff are lack luster; the assistant manager was there at checkin and checkout and acted like it was an interruption in her work to give us a key. Then we couldn't use the hot tub, the DVD machine was broken, and the cleaning staff left our room door blocked open all day. We had to ask for toilet paper, and then had to call back a second time an hour later. This location could be so convenient, but I won't go back there again.

We went to see Banff, and this hotel was the ideal place for a stopover before proceeding to Banff and from there to Lake Louise. Located in serene settings, this hotel proved to be quite the money's worth of experience. Free wireless internet connectivity is a good service! The rooms were very spacious. Service in all was very good.

The Columbia Icefields ,were outstanding. The Stoney Dakoda Hotel rooms just elegant but the staff ruined it for us. They were so rude and very unfriendly. Made you feel very unwelcome. But we had a great time inspite of their rudeness!!

Chosen as a cheap alternative to the Delta at Kananaskis Village; our booking was based upon high comfort ratings from other travellers. Not suitable for children (although I saw several there), as the Casino is clearly the purpose of the establishment, the hotel almost a 'contractual obligation'. I could not recommend this hotel even for a gaming weekend, as the hotel service does not lend itself to a good stay. I expected that a Casino would wish to present its staff as crisp, formal, and professional to attract a more affluent clientele, yet I saw no evidence that this was a consideration. Our room was a west-facing, mountain-view, non-smoking room with 2 queen beds. The view was nothing to write home about, however: the wasteland between the hotel and the mountains almost dominated; it certainly detracted. The room was large enough to set up a playpen (without having to climb over it to get from one end of the room to the other), and contained a programmable safe. The pillows were firm, and the beds comfortably firm too. Check-in was slow, with only one clerk at the front desk (we arrived about 11am). The cafe (the only amenity available to a family) was staffed by two indifferent servers who were not shy about calling across to each other, over the heads of the diners. Be prepared to wait, and ask for coffee refills: they are unlikely to be offered. Housekeeping staff tended to be amenable, with ready smiles.

This was a great family hotel! The rooms are huge and clean! There was a shower and separate tub in the bathroom. The pool was excellent for the kids. It's a great place to stop on the way up or back from Banff. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.

it was good over all!

the hotel was great, unfortunately we had three very noisy rooms next to our
