Lake Louise Inn

Hotel staffs are very helpful! The room is very small and no air conditioning.

Nice location in Lake Louise area. At Check In there were 3 workers but not one of them addressed me as I was standing there. Finally one person asked and she was good. Upon checking into the room, there was no toilet paper or hand soap and only two sets of towels for the four of us. Room was very hot and stale with no air circulation even when door and window left open.

This hotel is slightly below average - small rooms, no elevators, and an impersonal approach to guests. At least that is the case in "Block 4". Also, be wary that there is an annoying "resort charge" added to every night's stay, and, in our case, Orbitz charged our card a higher rate than was initially quoted on the confirmation screen.

Convenient venue if you want to ski at Lake Louise. Friendly staff. Rooms are tired and small. Food is so-so. Pub didn't serve Chardonnay by the glass. If you want a moderate venue that is convenient this place is for you. If your style is more upscale Fairmont or Post is the best option in this town.

Good location on Lake Louise. It was comfortable, and matched what we booked for the family of 5 with kitchen.

We had three nights at Lake Louise Inn, but had to change room due to availability. The staff chose two rooms as close as possible for us and moved our stuff after the two night stay. The dinner in the hotel was the best deal in the area! But the breakfast was not pleasing.

It's right across street from Lake Louise Village. Very good price for the convenient location and nice room. We got a suite with 2 bed rooms. The suite has a full kitchen with all utensil, a living room, and 2 bath rooms. Very good setting for family or group traveling. The price for a suite is much cheaper than getting 2 individual rooms.

The hotel is older. Needs some updating. Would be ok but our mattresses were bad. Beautiful surroundings. Close to everything. Quiet at night.

This facility has lowest accomodation and comfort during my trip but way high price rates. Anyone plan to stay Lake Louise, I would recommend to stay fairemont banff one more night considering Lake Louise area.

Perfect location to explore all of the beauty of the area--at less than half the price of the high end places at the lake. Great room. Great restaurants. Staff was really helpful--even when we needed to make changes.

Motel had an excellent Buffet Breakfast for $19 Canadian, Italian restaurant in lodge had pretty good food, but no view of the beautiful rookies. , In door Hot tub and pool were in full view of guests walking thru the lounge. Dubet on beds was heavy for warmer weather in the summer.,,removing the Dubet sheets revealed a very scratchy filler. The location of the lodge is perfect for traveling to the Lake Louise tourist sites. Service personnel were very friendly. Room was not ready when we checked in at 4pm.

The hotel staff was friendly, the hotel was neat and clean, but our interior room with a window (sealed) view of the pool was the hottest room I have ever stayed in. No air conditioning. They had fans in the room, but it did not help.

Hotel was small, not very clean, and we had to move rooms because the heat wasn't working in our room. In addition, we had to call several times as they didn't believe us at first that it was not working. However, we were only staying one night and were in the area for the hiking and views, so the price was good. Would not recommend this however.

functional but nothing special was crowded and parking was a challenge

great staff, nice room, close to what we wanted, restaurant reasonable - we stayed in the main building, a big plus if you want to use the pool / hot tub in the winter time.

I spent 5 days combining skiing with a study retreat which I often do. I got everything I asked for - comfortable room, nice study table. The first night in the basic economy room wasn't satisfactory because it was far too small \to be useful for anything except sleeping. But that is my fault because I didn't check out carefully enough what I was booking. The next morning the staff quickly and cheerfully moved me to a suitable room.

This isn't a luxury resort, but if you have a group skiing BANFF or Lake Louise this will work great. Our biggest qualm was our heater only worked about 50 of the time, and the hottie was under construction, so no after skiing soaking. Other than that it wasps pace with ample room for our crew!

We appreciated the handy location, the good breakfasts, and a dining room with good selections.

Lake Louise Inn is old and dated. The room looked like it was very old. The light in the bathroom did not work and a couple of the electrical outlets did not work either. I was disappointed in the room for being in such a beautiful area as Lake Louise. I will not stay there again. I had to shower in the dark, not pleasant. They need to update their hotel!

Over all the hotel was a good pick for us. The staffs were nice. But the facilities need mainanence work.

Dear Valued Guest, Thanks for the review on our hotel. I'm very happy to read that our staff was able to positively influence your experience here. As we do operate in a National Park, we do try to limit our carbon footprint and that is why we do not feature air conditioning in the hotel. We're lucky enough to be high enough in the Mountains where in the summer the nights are very cool and the days lack humidity to help with this. Thanks again for your feedback.

Dear Explorer, Thanks for taking the time to provide an insightful review on your stay with us. Unfortunately, due to the age of our hotel and the restrictions of operating in a National Park, none of our rooms at the hotel have air conditioning. However, we do provide fans for all of our rooms and do our best to assign the placement of the rooms to each guest's preference. We're happy you enjoyed your time here in Lake Louise. Hope you'll visit us again soon in the near future.

Dear RG, We appreciate you taking the time to provide a review on our hotel. I'm sorry to hear that you did not find value in your stay with us as that is something we pride ourselves on operating within the Banff National Park. The resort fee should be properly indicated at the time of booking by Orbitz, it is a fee charged here directly at the hotel and may/may not be covered under the advanced purchase options. Thanks again for your feedback, it will truly help us improve moving forward.
