We enjoyed our stay. The spa and indoor pool were great after skiing. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Banff, though it will take 5-10 minutes.

staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay

We stayed in the king suite which was nice but not necessarily what I would call a suite. It was more like a large room. This room was easily $100 US more than other hotels in the area which I am happy to pay if I had thought the value was worth the money. I have to say the staff was exceptional though.

It is thoughtful to clean windshield every night. However, the fire place can not be turned off completely. It can be hot in a warm day. The staffs are very nice. The room price is expensive.

we have a bigger room with fireplace. it is a nice room.

We loved our stay at the Delta - Its very conveniently located in downtown Banff - The service here was excellent - We loved the sticky toffee pudding at the restaurant below and chef Gary was generous and kind to share the recipe :)!

Clean room, nice pool and great staff. I just wish the prices were more reasonable in summer. Location is about 10 minutes from downtown, so close enough to walk unless it is the middle of winter. There is also public transit available just outside the hotel.

The hotel is a little far down the strip away from the downtown area, but it is a nice walk to get there and the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet!

We stayed for two nights on a snowboarding trip. I had forgotten to print out my mountain collective pass and the management graciously did this for me. We noticed that in the morning, our front windshield was wiped clean. Snowboards are not allowed in the rooms but they do have a valet service for this. Beware that there is a fee for parking (I was charged 25USD for two nights).

Great staff, addresses all your needs. Wonderful restaurant. Fitness center was very small.

Great location, nice staff. Very helpful with suggestions

We stayed for 4 days/3 nights Oct 21-24, 2012. Some construction but not noisy. The restaurant had a breakfast buffet, but we thought the prices in general were high. Many more nicer less expensive restaurants a short distance away in town. They upgraded our room to one with a fireplace and two queen beds. The room was clean and spacious. My only complaint is that the air was dry. Would definitely stay here again. Parking is $12/day but they waived this for us. Not sure if this was because we were there in the off season, but appreciated that they did that for us.

Very nice hotel, with good location and helpful and knowledgeable staff. Restaurant isn't that impressive but Banff downtown is within 5 minutes walk.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the main commercial center of Banff. The premium rooms with fireplace are quite large. I would not spend extra for the fireplace--it's plain looking and provides a mild blue natural gas flame (and it makes the room hot). The hotel had no problems with a gay couple staying there, even though it is primarily frequented by straight families.

Friendly staff, attractive rooms, a little noisy because of kids in the hall.

This was one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. All staff were very nice.

Nice big room, with 2 room bath, in-room safe, close to downtown shops, easy walk.

Delta Banff was perfect. Big room, quiet, great food, friendly staff, free valet parking. Convenient location, close to everything.

Our stay at the Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge was excellent. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the room was just beautiful. Our back window looked out at the mountain which was just spectacular. The room was big and roomy. The bathroom was very clean and large. Having the fireplace in the room was a nice and romantic touch. The only small complaint we might have was with the firmness of the bed, we like our bed a little softer! We wish we could have stayed more than the one night that we did as the little city of Banff is just beautiful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who might be thinking of staying in or around Banff as the value for your money was excellent.
