Well to start off, the best part was the check in and check out. Night one: ate dinner at the restaurant and food was very bland. Went back to get some sleep and the room behind me sounded like a sporting arena (Had a suite by the way). Called the front desk and they said they'd take care of it. This went on for 2 hours. Then the radiator next to the bed sounded like a broken rain gutter. I called again and they said they'd send someone out. Wait until you hear the verdict. Day two: fresh fruit for breakfast wasn't so fresh. Went out and about during the day and came back to the bed made up and fresh towels. Went out for dinner and radiator kept me up until 4 am. At this point I'm not happy. Day 3: omelette for breakfast wasn't so bad and then went out and about again. Came back at 3 and the room wasn't made up. I got a knock on the door and they offered to "exchange the rubbish". So be it. Went out for dinner and came back to unwind before packing. The radiator still wasn't fixed!!! They said they had no record of me calling when I phoned the front desk. I didn't fall asleep until 4 am again! Last day: skipped breakfast, packed up, and checked out. She checking out they asked how the stay was. I told them everything and they said nothing in the system had me calling and complaining. Unprofessional! Needless to say this was the worst hotel service and hotel I've ever stayed at. Wifi was mediocre and service was next to none. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone

Enjoyed being close to so many spectacular views of God's creation!

Nice condominium style lodging in a quiet location. We had a kitchenette which was perfect for us seeing we wanted early morning starts to go hiking. Only issues was the room coffee was very weak so best to bring ypur own if you like good coffee. Our NUVI GPS had issues finding the address but that was also minor.

The hotel is about 3 km away from the center of the town but that is not the big problem. The mattresses in the hotel room where I stayed are the worst I've ever seen. The restaurant waitresses are not attentive and I had to get up and ask for coffee. The hotel buildings looked very old and other hotels nearby looked WAY better.

The hotel has a good central location for all the points of interest and dining options plus a shuttle to the city center. It has attractive architecture consistent with the rustic location. We enjoyed using the indoor pool and sauna every evening.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room (junior suite) was big with sofa and computer desk with small frig. It was close to the main highway (route 1) and that made it easy to come and go while visiting the other national parks. Although they have a shuttle for downtown, we used our rental car for getting around. I highly recommend the Hoddoo trail about a mile from the hotel. (views with Elk down by the river).

The family and I stayed here for a night and the hotel met our expectations. The room was neat. No problems during our brief 12 hour stay. Staff were friendly. Overall, no regrets staying here.

It was nice place, but a little ways from downtown Banff. I would've preferred to stayed closer, but some may love the isolation. The rooms were clean. Also, we received an upgrade, but really didn't need the additional bedroom.

it is a pretty quite place, clean and cozy. just a little bit far away from the center of the town. nice scence of wood behide the bulidings. recomand it with a reasonable price.

Nice quiet location. Clean rooms. You need to catch the courtesy shuttle to get into town. Great value for money.

A decent place to make a base camp to explore the neighbouring park areas and Banff townsite.

Hotel staff were professional & helpful, although they forgot to activate our room keys so we had to backtrack all the way back to the check-in desk. Housekeeping staff were great! We rented a one bedroom condo...it was really small for the 3 of us, but we made it work. The condo is worn & dated & in need of some repairs/upgrading (their pics online look more modern & spacious but not the unit we were in...furniture was old and everything was cramped together...it felt grungy). The kitchen was well equipped but could use some proper bowls...hard to have cereal in a pudding dish! Some of the utensils had food on them (yuck!) The shower had great water pressure...the bathroom could use better lighting though. There was mold in the bathroom & bedroom windowsill. The couch was old & the springs on the sofabed were visible and it looked to be very uncomfortable...thankfully I anticipated this & brought a foamy to put on it...it helped some but not much. Only one very thin blanket was provided for the extra person...we shouldn't have to ask for extra when the booking clearly stated 3 people in the room. The bedroom was really tight for space with no dresser and only one side table...it felt really cramped with only about a foot of space on all sides. I suggest you request an upper suite as we were on the lower level and we could hear every footstep above us...it sounded like they were continuously stomping their feet...it got annoying. Staff provided a dog bed, treats and 'a' bowl for our dog. We thought that was really nice, although 2 bowls would have been better (1 for food, 1 for water!). Location was right off the freeway & a quick drive into Banff. The resort offered a free shuttle into town but that didn't work for us as we had our dog. Overall I would compare this resort hotel around the same as a low end hotel (about a 2 1/2 out of 5)...don't expect a fancy resort as this is definitely not. This hotel worked for us as it was a long weekend and it was difficult to find a pet friendly hotel. The price was reasonable (I found a deal online) & it allowed us to bring our dog...don't think I would stay again though.

They gave us a free upgrade but even without it we would have been very happy here. The accommodations were everything we could hace asked for and the exercise facilties were particularly welcome on a dreary day. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our room here was large and very comfortable with many amenities. The resort itself was very nice with a pool an outdoor hot tub , patio , exercise room , restaurants etc. As soon as we descended the steps after leaving our room we had an awesome view of a beautiful mountain looming above us ..... next time we will ask for a room with a view facing the mountain ! This hotel is in a quiet area just outside of town so you are out of the hustle and bustle but still close to downtown shops and restaurants.

Desk staff enthusiastic. They were college interns from around Canada and commonwealth countries. Location was on entering edge of town with a little more rural feeling. Room was very basic.

Like the tennis court and the location. Easy access to Banff downtown.

Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is located in a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of Banff town-site. They have a free shuttle to Banff which is only a few minutes away. The condo provided everything we needed to cook all our own meals. They have an excellent barbecue area with many picnic tables to choose from. The one bedroom condo was very clean and spacious for four people. They have two pools and a hot-tub which were very clean. Also, there is very nice landscaping around the outside pool.

We booked a 1 bedroom suite at the Rocky Mountain Resort, for 4 people. The bedroom essentially was just a tiny bit larger than the queen bed. It was difficult to open the closet doors! The sofa bed opened up into the living room but there wasn't even room for luggage. The kitchen was reasonably equipped, though the table had to be moved every time we had a meal. The best part about the room was that it was in Banff.

Great time at this hotel. Rooms are clean, offer lots of things to do. Bar has good happy hour. Free shuttle to take you to downtown. Had a great time and would return!

A little bit out of town but nice and quiet. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
