The staff were friendly and helpful and the option to have a complimentary bus pass to roam the area was a nice touch, although we walked most everywhere since everything is so close. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were spacious. I loved having such a long counter and two mirrors in the bathroom - made getting ready a little more convenient. The weather was warm enough to require us to open the windows but had it been warmer, the lack of a/c might have been a problem.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well decorated

a few things wrong with the room but fixed when we asked, super nice staff and good location.

Everything about the hotel was just fine except for very strong fireplace wood smoke smell in our room on the fourth floor. They have a wood burning fireplace in the lobby of the hotel that expels it's smoke out of the chimney on the roof. Due to the configuration of the exhaust/roof, the smoke ends up migrating down into the ventilation vents in rooms on the 4th floor, backside of the hotel. There is no way to keep the smoke odor from permeating the room. And it is a very strong odor. I would imagine that anyone with asthma or any kind of respiratory issue would have had serious issues with the smell in the room(s). I say rooms (plural), because we heard other 4th floor guests complaining about the smoky smell as well. When notified about the smoke issue, the hotel staff just said: "Oh, sorry about that". No offer to turn off the fireplace, or move us to another section of the hotel. Aside from the smoke issue, everything else about the hotel seemed fine. They really need to address the smoke issue though, it's pretty bad.

We got to our room at 1am hoping to finally sleep after a long day of traveling only to be awakened every few minutes by noise from passing cars. There was no fan we could turn on in the bathroom or on the heater so we had to download a White noise app. This is a 1st in years of traveling. The hotel was not anywhere close to full so they probably could have put us in a room not along the main busy street.

The hotel was beautiful. The hotel is the pick up point for nearly all of the bus tours and town busses, which made it really convenient. The beds are not the most comfortable, which is typical of hotels outside of the US. There is a restaurant on site, which made the overall stay wonderful. The spa is just like the photos. Wish the beds were more like US hotels, but I would stay here again.

gave ticket for bus use--nice hotel and friendly staff.got fans because no air conditioning. banff is a pretty town with lots of atmosphere and beauty

Fabulous front desk staff room with great amenities terrific bed with loads of pillows loved the underground parking. Really liked the fitness centre and took advantage of the huge hot tub and steam. Will definitely stay there again.

Room was excellent, my boyfriend and I only found that the room was too hot! With the weather outside being -21, we turned down the heat in the room. We found we both tossed and turned because it was too hot. Otherwise great location, and amenities. Underground parking was a huge plus!

except for the room service menu which was a bit limited for vegetarians, and absence of shower caps in bathrooms (!) everything was perfect! people were very helpful!

Comfortable, clean, newly renovated rooms. Friendly staff. Great location only, 1/2 mile from shops/restaurants. Free parking and ski storage available.

Good hotel but no a/c although they did supply fans quickly and extra towels. Good location as not too near downtown area but close enough to walk.

We arrived very late to the hotel and it was extremely hot in our room -no a/c as advised but staff brought us 3 fans within minutes &extra towels too. It was close to central area but far enough away that it was quiet. Pool is almost like a hot tub but nice.

We had a wonderful time enjoyed a great appetizer and drinks nice dip in the hot tube sat by the fire very nice place.

Stayed one night, the room was nice, the staff was nice and loved that the keg was in the hotel. Had a great dinner and breakfast there

Everything was fine, service was good enough, location is good, room was nice and comfortable, clean...all great for the price and I would recommend/book again.

Location: the hotel is not in the deadcenter of downtown, but very close to it - 2 mins driving maybe or 10 min walking. There's a free bus you can take right in front of the hotel but not that frequent (every 45 mins?) The best part is its huge hotbu/jaccuzi (and a steamroom next to it). The worse is the Keg steakhouse onsite - its food is horrible - four of us all had very dry/tasteless steaks (despite the facts taht we all ordered medium to medium well) - it just ruined our impression of the Kegs (we eat at a different Keg before and it was wonderful).

This hotel was ok - for the most part pretty 'typical' in my opinion. Downside is its a 15 minute walk into the main part of Banff.

Great value and location in Banff. Well appointed rooms and amenities plus free inside parking.

The hotel just served as a place to sleep. It was no fun as I spent more time with friends in other hotels. The corridors were dirty and not presentable. There are better hotels in Banff
