The room was dirty, the shower was disgusting and didn’t even work! The knob was on the shower floor. Not sure the towels were clean as they were all rumpled. There was no lampshade on the naked bulb. Bed was comfy, the staff was very nice and helpful. I got in very late and left early without a shower.
Originally booked a different hotel in the area for my July 4th- 6th stay, but that hotel's pool was out of order & since that was one of my main reasons for staying in a hotel for the holiday (pool access) that was a no go for me...looked across the street & saw the glistening glittering pool at the knights Inn...contacted booking.com to switch my reservation without seeing the room...(not a good idea) & drove across the street...Well the best thing about the property is the pool...starting with the room...the carpet was so dirty when you walked on it barefoot it would stick to ur feet...the blankets on the bed were stained and full of holes...the tv was so old...my son couldn't hook up his playstation...the WIFI absolutely did not work AT ALL!!!...the whole room had a layer of dirt that made u feel like u needed to not leave the bathroom & just sleep in the tub with the shower running on u all night...& as hot as it was...every single ice machine on the property was broken...the elevators smell like homeless people with dogs take turns urinating in them daily...i'm still waiting on the towels i asked for guess they weren't use to guests who actually like to bathe...i know it's not an expensive hotel...but it shouldn't be the Bates Motel just because it's cheaper...this hotel is gross...spend a few extra dollars & stay somewhere else..
First of all, I recognize that this place is no Hilton or Westin, but dang, can you guys just try to prioritize the comfort of your guests? Got a room with a queen bed for one night, and I kid you not, this was by far my worst experience at a (h)motel. I typed-up this review from the room because I didn't want to miss anything that was noteworthy. I'm not into writing negative reviews to mess up anybody's business, because I worked at a Wyndham affiliate in the past, and it used to irk me when guests wrote what I thought were unreasonable reviews. But to be frank, this place isn't worth the money. The thermostats are outdated- it's summer time, and I had heat come out of it at some point in the night. It's 2017, and this facility still uses cathode-ray TVs; so much for charging $66+tax per night. There was neither a refrigerator, microwave, nor telephone in the room to contact the front desk. Two of the lamps were broken, and the toilet kept flushing itself at certain intervals throughout the night. To top it all off, the bathroom light wouldn't turn on when I went to take a shower. Given the discomfort, I barely got the chance to sleep. I hope you guys make some much-needed upgrades to your rooms, because it wouldn't be pleasant for other guests to experience what I had to go through. Thanks.
The hotel was clean cut and location is perfect, surround by food place, clothing store etc. The front desk was very professional, would recommend anyone to stay at knights inn. Shaniel is has a excellent customer service skills, the rooms was clean. Keep up the job
I had a comfortable stay, and the front desk attendant was very pleasant and helpful at check in. The one thing that I would suggest is that they do a room review before they make them available for guests. The bathtub in my room was cracked and it was very obvious that they just put something over it hide it, no attempt made to repair or replace. It was very disconcerting when every time I stepped in to take a shower it cracked and made loud noises under my feet.
The room was run-down as reviews say, but fine for me for an affordable night not far from BWI, which was what I needed. But check-in took more than an hour because the KI computer did not have my Expedia reservation. I can't say whether that was fault of KI or Expedia. But as a result, I had to give over my driver's license multiple times and left it at the front desk. When I forgot to recover it at check-out, I called, and the person said it would be mailed the next day (Monday). It never came. The added costs of time and money to wait more than an hour for check-in and now to have to go to the DMV and pay for a replacement driver's license--I would rather have spent on a better hotel.
The manager at the Knights Inn Baltimore West is courteous and professional. He made me aware of special where I can earn points to earn free stays. The staff is also professional and caring. I would recommend this hotel.
Well me and my sister moved from Tennessee less than week ago not knowing anyone when we first got here we stayed here at the knights inn and this is our first encounter meeting James customer service skills were amazing he was very kind and very professional remembering that me and my sister came back only because of how accommodating he was making a long story short James is amazing and has a beautiful heart his kindness has really resonated with me and my sister we will continue to stay here and give nothing but love to this knights inn
I was there on January 20th and 21st and 22nd I had a wonderful stay the staff was excellent.I was running late to check in.They held my room for me gave me a welcome bag they made every effort to make my stay great.I will make sure I use this hotel again again and again. Thank you again knights inn and all the staff
Unlike the recent reviews I read online, the renovated non-smoking room did not smell like smoke. The HVAC unit was new and not too noisy. The in-room safe did not work. The room was clean. The mattress wasn't great but there was no evidence of bed bugs, though I used my sleep sack anyway. No fridge, coffee maker, or microwave in the room, but there appeared to be serious vending machines adjacent to the lobby which might mean microwave access is available. Door required exerting upward force in order to close. Biggest unhappiness was being a single female traveller put in a room on the back side of the building at the far end of the row, next to last room in the building and across from the dumpster. Nice to be away from the highway noise, but not some place I wanted to hang out any longer than absolutely necessary. Left at dawn daily. Couldn't return during daylight due to time of year, but no wandering about when I did return, and no venturing back out in the evening by foot. Not a great neighborhood, but not overtly unsafe either. Good access to city bus lines and highway.
