We stayed in Seminyak beach. This was probably one of the best hotels in the area. The most unique thing about this was that it was really private and intimate. I really enjoyed our private pool. The breakfast was way too good. The staff was really nice and polite. Thank you for a fabulous experience!
Only cold water in their jacuzzi! Can you believe that? And it's not like you have a choice, because there's no knob to turn on to get water from, and no cover it's just out in the open. So maybe the water has been in the jacuzzi tub for days or weeks, who knows. I can see they try to make the architect of the place really nice and different, but they need to keep up with cleaniness of the guest rooms! The bathroom is the worst: shower is dirty, no title on the shower floor so I had to wear my slippers the whole time, there's a bad odor in there, misquitoes everywhere even after they sprayed. Breakfast was alright though, staff were mostly friendly and attentive. But seriously, need to fix a lot of things around here, do some cleaning and upgrading maybe, remodel those bathrooms. Otherwise im never coming back.
We came to Villa Seminyak Estate and Spa at the end of our Bali vacation. It's located in a central part of the city (although on a mostly unpaved alley) and is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff was very welcoming and spoke English well. The room was clean and had the best shower of any place we stayed in Bali. The water pressure was good. The bathroom, however, was a little small and not well-lit. The centrally-located pool was nice (although it could use a thorough scrubbing) and the breakfast buffet was serviceable. In addition, the staff was flexible with us and arranged a late check out and shuttle to the airport. We would stay again.
