Service Perfect Breakfast Ok Pool little bit dirty sometime Location is ok, but u cannot walk to the beach, use bike or grab car Noisy problem, but with that price and fasilities overed, its a no problem for me.

Affordable. The room is clean and big enough for a budget hotel like this. Nice breakfast buffet. Free bottled water everyday. The pool and wifi are okay. Overall, our stay is quite great. No regrets that we chose this for our stay.

My recent visit to the sunset hotel has not surprised me. You get what you pay for is the phrase that comes to mind. This hotel is the right hotel if you are on a lads trip and don't mind a little bit of dirt. There are some positives to this hotel which are: The price; The location being in the middle between kuta and seminyak; Friendly staff; and It's close to a chemist and shop. However the negatives to me were: Noise levels; Dated and not so clean rooms; Grip mat in the shower which is now slippery; Patchy wifi; The breakfast doesn't seem to be western standard; No hand towels; and The hard bed. If I had to stay here again I would but only for a quick stay and not with a lady or kids.

So if everyone has been reading along at home knows that my reviews often have humour with a sprinkling of sarcasm about them, however sunset hotel has broken me. Checked into this bad boy for an esteemed colleagues bachelor weekend recently. Upon arrival our rooms were not ready until the check in time of 2pm, no biggie smalls. My friend had already checked in and was located on the bottom floor backing on to the pool area. The room was nice, clean and he was pleased with it. Whence the time came for this tripper (trip advisor reviewer) to check in, i was greeted with a room on the third floor (four floors in total at the hotel)) near the street end. Fairly noisy with street traffic but probably the least ideal of the hotels rooms. Room was decent however it lacked the attention to detail that was seen in my friends room. It also lacked hand towels, a dnd sign and a in room safe. The pool is ok, little dated and is mostly in shade for the day. There's approx. 4 sun beds there to enjoy as well. Breakfast in the restaurant was a bit of a shambles, lots of uncovered food and pretty underwhelming. Would I stay here again, probably not. Although at $28US per room you really do get what you pay for. Maybe it's the silver spoon sewn into the corner of my mouth or just my love of nice (clean) things......

There's only 2 good things about this hotel : hospitality at receptionist & the breakfast standard taste. Now the horrible part : -) i've reserved early to extend my stay 2 month earlier, confirmed and accepted by someone named tika, however when i checked in my room's not ready & have to check in again as if my earlier booking was nothing. -) 15 minutes after i was in the room, a staff knocked at my room & take the key, he said he left it when preparing my room & took the key just like that, after i objected since i only had one key he returned it to me. -) i booked for 2 persons but there're only ONE TOOTH BRUSH, also the amenities mentioned in their cataloque such as hand towel, yukata / kimono they're never there in the 1st place. -) this is the worst part : A staff rang my room 3 times, after that HE OPENED MY DOOR JUST LIKE THAT..!!! He just offered house keeping, lucky i could control my temper during that moment. Where's the manner & what about guess privacy? I've stayed in some hotels, some are good and some are not, this one....i'm speechless....personally i won't EVER visit this hotel anymore.

I'm writing this while I'm still staying at the hotel. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and have not been disappointed either times. Rooms are great, air con great, wifi works well.Breakfast is good, yes they do cater more to the Asian taste but cereal eggs (made to order in several options) and toast is more than suitable. Staff are so friendly, always willing to help with anything you need. The pool is lovely and over the 4 days I've had the pool to myself. Yes it is out of the Main Street of Legian but seriously a taxi ride is $1.50 one way,so you have the best of both worlds. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bali and not wanting to spend a fortune. We paid $40 a night and it is worth every cent.

I was stayed with my family and we love the room because very big for budget hotell and the room already have big sofa in the corner. we enjoyed during stay here, because there are swimming pool event little not too big. The staff very kind and helpfull. If we hungry is easy to get food near the hotel. but wifi not useful. Our family love this hotel and if we go to bali exactly going to this hotel again

Pros: Big room, central location Cons: Room a bit dark and outdated Anyways with the low budget, this hotel is worth to stay. It is easy to get food from this hotel. My room was facing the swimming pool and had a balcony. So if there were kids swimming, it would make noised that could be heard from my room. For short stay, this hotel be a choice for you.

I rarely write bad review for the hotels I stayed, but this time is an exception for me. I go Bali for company trip, and we choose Sunset as our accommodation for this trip. We request to change the blanket sheet as there is super obvious "sexy lips", and yet they only change the bedsheets as they said no more blanket sheet, and promise will change on the next day. The next day, the same blanket still there! Most of my colleagues complaining their bedsheets full of dust and hair, and the air-conditioner is so warm, quite sad to say the problem is not being solved during our stay. We understand is peak period during our stay, but i hope my review able to let the management know the problems and avoid this issue happen again.

Stayed a night with husband and get into the water, swimming pool just a little but still good, we enjoying much since there's no other people at the pool on that time. The bed and linen were good. Staff a bit slowly to take us to the room. We were waiting about 30minutes at the lobby to sign up the room. Don't know this is just because we got special voucher price or the service just average. So it was just average for us
