The St Regis Bali has probably the best staff known to man who will all go out their way to help you. You could probably ask them to go into town and fetch you a chocolate bar and they would probably oblige (obviously would never ask that haha) Really kind, great breakfast ! Lobster omelette/chicken teriyaki, crepes, literally everything. Butler service - perfect. Beach - amazingly clean for Bali. Found a knife in the sea but this wasn't their fault and they do their best to clean the beach everyday (and it is always prestine apart from this little niggle). Unfortunately, this is the world we live in where rubbish is found in our oceans. We stayed here over New Years Eve. The gala they put on was ALMOST excellent. Great performance, great dinner however, what we really did not appreciate was that they charged people to sit down on these white sofas but had to spend a minimum of 3,000,000 rupiah on drinks to have a seat! If you did not pay, then you had to stand for the night where the music and performance was. This was really a bad decision and sort of put a sour taste in our mouths as you pay so much already for the gala event and the rooms. I hope St Regis Bali take onboard this feedback, as there are people who do not drink for religious or personal reasons and people who need to sit. I have stayed in many luxury hotels in the world during new years eve and this was the first time we were asked to pay to sit down...ridiculous. Moreover, no alcohol was included in our package for dinner despite paying 2,700,000-2,900,000 rupiah for the dinner. Seemed a bit cheap and stingy to not offer AT LEAST ONE glass of champagne or wine glass etc... Apart from this, the evening was perfect. There are a few restaurants outside (i recommend BuBu Seafood) but the main ones are at Bali Collection which sometimes doesn't have a shuttle service depending on occupancy in the hotels... Two big pools as well. All beautiful and clean. Another word of advice, perhaps put on different performances or entertainment through-out the night. There is a fire dance done every evening (however this only lasts 15 mins or so) and jazz singer/pianist in King Cole Bar however, I feel the St Regis should maybe revisit it's balinese roots and bring some of the bali culture to the guests such as Balinese traditional dancing. This is more of our taste as you come to Bali to experience Bali as a whole, and whilst I understand there are many clients here who just want the beach and to forget where they are, it's nice to be reminded that you are still in Bali! Overall, fantastic hotel with amazing staff. Definitely a must to stay here.
We were there to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and from the moment we landed in Bali to the moment we left Bali we were treated like royalty. The management and the staff at St regis Bali couldn't have done more to make our vacation the best we have ever had. Every detail about stay well looked after, my wife is Vegetarian and every day the Chef and the staff would ensure that she had options available to her above and beyond what was offered in the menu. All the Butlers that were assigned to our rooms were superb and fantastic at ensuring that all our needs were well looked after. After this trip i am addicted to there level of service and i am already looking at future dates to come back to Bali and will stay only at St Regis!
I’ve stayed in some luxurious properties and enjoyed some incredible hotels. The St. Regis surpasses all of them. This hotel delivers on absolutely every level. First and foremost — the staff — every single one of them — go out of their way to welcome and tend to the guests. And in the most organic and sincere ways. Never once did I feel I was getting a “hotel” welcome. Their sincerity is palpable and their attention to detail is impeccable. They make the entire experience, hands down. The airport greeting and transfer was incredible. Staff to guest ratio is off the charts and it’s clear that customer service is at the forefront of everything this property does. The restaurants are terrific, food presentation and preparation superb. Breakfast and dinner buffets are exquisite. Our room was exceptional. A suite on the 6th floor, I have rarely seen such style and design coupled with function. Truly beautiful. And quiet. And private. The pools and beach are just great. Not sure what the other reviews mean about an average beach — this beach is pristine. And quiet. A big plus. The property is safe and well protected by a series of check points and guarded gates. And the volcano is a non issue. It was active and steaming during our visit but it’s so far away that we didn’t even know it existed. Truly a non issue. We had a booking at The Mulia but changed last minute to the St Regis. Best decision of my life. Trust me — stay here. It’s very well priced for the value — and the experience will spoil you for a long time to come. They get everything right. Can’t wait to go back.
We go on a family vacation to Bali, and St Regis Bali Resort is our choice. With the best service you can get in Bali. Professional Butler service to take care all of your needs on your stay. The staff picks you up at the airport, they will handle your luggage, and they drice you to the hotel. Our Butler, Mr. Sugi and Mr. Karba is so kind and professional with their service. Tending to our every need. We book the Villa with 2 bedroom, private pool and access to the salt water lagoon. The room was very nice. Definitely the choice of King Salman

The St Regis Bali experience really is second to none. From the airport transfers to the personalised check-in, to every single staff member going out of their way to make your stay memorable. This was or fourth stay at the St Regis Bali and we stayed in a gardenia villa, which has so much room and everything you could possibly want to relax. The salt water lagoon is seriously relaxing, and we dined on Christmas Eve at Kayuputi... a degustation experience to remember. Our only regret on this trip was that we didn’t get to see Chief Butler Carlos as he was on leave. Carlos and his team make sure that every detail is attended to, making every aspect of the stay a pleasure. Even being on leave, Carlos had ensured that we were well looked after! We will be back.... every time it feels just like returning home.
Endless wonder! This feels like a sanctuary instead of a hotel. There are so many secret spaces, gardens and lagoons that we hardly encountered other guests. Everything is seamless and every staff member incredibly friendly and generous. Special thanks to Yuda, Nabila, Agus, Ayan (frankly everyone was amazing! I would list them all if possible). We tried the Lulur Treatment at the spa which was very special. Lovely therapists Ayu and Artini! Each treatment room has its own change room, loo, massive bathtub, double outdoor shower. Breakfast at Boneka has an extensive A la carte menu as well as a good buffet. Waiters also come around with fresh treats every so often. The breakfast staff are awesome; they anticipate your every need. Nabila, Agus and Aris were very caring, especially of our kids. The kids club is brilliant ! We made use of it often, taking a half day program involving art, games, music, cuisine as well as food and drinks for the boys. It is a state of the art facility. The hotel grounds are lush and established, with new secret spaces to explore daily. The beach area is immaculate; brilliant service there too; complimentary chilled water, refresher towels and kids toys (to borrow). We enjoyed swimming in the sea, even at high tide. Special thanks to Yuda for upgrading us from a St Regis Suite to an Orchid Suite. We are eternally grateful for your kindness. The rooms are cleaned and turned down immaculately. The butler service is a highlight, especially the complimentary unpacking, daily coffees and teas as well as pressing services. I wish I could live here forever!
A wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly attentive. The food was delicious and the portion size was perfect! A real foodie's paradise. Money well spent. At Regis the ambiance is priceless; the kitchen is on one side of the dinning area with an ocean view and beach on the other.
We are high tea lovers and try a different high tea every time we are in Bali. I reserved via the website and received a prompt reply. From getting out of the taxi, this was a wonderful experience. Curteous, warm, welcoming attentive staff. A Santa welcome for my son. We got accompanied to the King Cole Bar, welcomed and sat down in a beautiful setting surrounded by water and fountains. The decor was a delight. Santa came and sang (!) and danced and gave my son a little Xmas stocking much to his delight. The piano player was lovely. The chairs and day bed sofas comfortable. We received a tea menu and our high tea stand and everything was explained. In addition, there were savoury dishes, cakes, macaroons, hand made chocolates, scones, a chocolate fountain and ice cream at a buffet plus staff kept bringing extra treats out of the kitchen. It was simply a delight. While the Christmas High Tea at the Fairmont last year had more of a Christmas theme in the food selection, the items here were more edible and traditional which we preferred. We had a very relaxing afternoon and left a little more round than when we came :-). The one recommendation I would have to management is that the tea served could be more consistent. We are tea drinkers and my first darjeeling tea was superbly brewed and delicious whereas the refills served tasted a little watery and had less taste, as they were served too quickly after brewing. This was minor. Staff are beautifully trained and extremely friendly. Also recommended for children. Wow - well done! Highly recommended.
An amazing 4 hours of eating and drinking some of the best food & service I have experienced anywhere in the world. We started off the first hour with cocktails and French champagne in the bar. Then into The dining room the food service started off with the sommelier opening a bottle of champagne with a sword. The ratio of staff to guests was about 4:1. Unlike other brunches this was all table service and the food was to die for. This venue is well worth the visit if money is no object. From the caviar to oysters to beef fillet finishing with cheese and Cuban cigars. Please see my picture attached. I will come back on my next visit.
