We stayed here for five nights. The hotel complex is vast, three pools at least on separate levels going down to the beach. The rooms however leave something to be desired..... there is no obvious charging point, the desk light is dim and there are almost no storage areas if you have a lot of luggage. Also, have never seen so many notices of " Dont's.. Do not place items on this table, do not hang clothing from the balcony or the lamp shade or furniture. ....do not damage sheets by red wine, fruit, temporary tattoos or bring in fruits with strong odours, do not take towels, bathrobes, slippers from the room... Don't waste water, a precious resource label hung on the tap of a gigantic bath....... One wondered about the guests ! All such notices ended with the words "The Management " It would be worthwhile putting a name on the bottom of such notes. Reception staff were excellent, The specialist restaurants were good, breakfasts were a bit of a scrum although the egg station was great. The public areas were amazing but deserted.... This hotel is good and it could be even better with more thought to room design and more visible management.

I have stayed at the Mulia before and on that occasion I rated it as 5 star +. The Mulia consists of three areas on the one site including the Mulia Resort, the Mulia Villas and the Mulia Suites. My previous stay was at the Mulia resort which I gave a five plus star rating. However, on this trip I stayed at the Mulia Suites which I found to be even better than the Mulia Resort. The Mulia suites has its own building slightly separate from the Resort. This building is located on the sea front and has its own lobby and lounge area..Upon checkin you are greeted by a butler who assists you throughout your stay. My butler was Devi who was excellent. Guests staying in the suites have access to their own lounge and breakfast areas and also magnificent pool areas available for their exclusive use. Each afternoon suite guests are invited to high tea which includes canapes' and cocktails. The service is impeccable with all guests being made to feel very special. Reservations for other areas of the Mulia (Restaurants, spa, etc.) can be arranged by the butler and suite gustes are transported around the Mulia site by golf carts. No matter where I went around the suites site staff addressed me by my name and they paid absolute attention to detail. I have never received such attention in any other hotel where I have stayed and the Mulia has set the bar very high for other hotels to match. .

Beautiful, huge and excellent view of the ocean. Spacious rooms with nice view. Extremely well maintained property (can see people continuously working to maintain the quality). Good mixture of modern living amongst the nature. Resort is full of small-small water bodies and greenery. Huge lobbies and corridors give feeling of palace living. Take a dip in Ocean view swimming pool (they have 3-4 swimming pools with different surroundings). Check-in and checkout very smooth. Staff is welcoming and pleasing. Food! few options for Indian vegetarians too. So, no issues. Must try couple of nights when in Bali.

Awesome resort. Marble everywhere. Awesome service, super courteous staff. Room is of the highest standard. Many pools and the beach. My only comment is there are not enough umbrellas for those of you who dont want to be directly under the extreme Bali sun Food was very good, top quality. Buffet had good choices, the chinese restaurant was authentic, and the ZJ bar had good drinks and a DJ I left behind a silver hat from the dinner party and they actually sent me an email asking if I wanted it to be shipped back First rate all the way!

We booked and stayed in a beautiful Garden view villa and wow! The size of the villa was amazing! Having our own private pool was great to wake up to each morning and have a swim. The quality of the amenities and line was exceptional. As soon as we arrived we felt like VIP's. The check in was quick and efficient then our private butler took us by golf buggy to our villa. The butlers do an amazing job attending to any request you have and taking you everywhere by buggy. My wife has a gluten intolerance and everywhere went out of their way to ensure her dietary requirements and satisfaction was met. All of the restaurants were magnificent and reasonably priced. We loved Table 8 and The Cafe for dinner (cafe has an amazing dessert bar). The poolside and in room dining was exceptional. One evening we had a live gourmet BBQ in our villa and all I can say is wow! Their are 3 accommodation options: Mulia Resort, The Mulia and The Villas. The advantage of The Mulia and Mulia Villas over the Mulia Resort are as follows: 1. You have exclusive access to The Oasis Pool (cabanas available on first serve basis) and Aqua pool 2. You have exclusive access to The Living Room and The Lounge for breakfast. You can have breakfast at The Cafe but because The Cafe is the only restaurant that guests staying at The Mulia Resort can access for breakfast the lines to get in are very long. We also has High Tea every day (included unlimited alcohol and cocktails) either at The Living Room or The Lounge). There are 3 other pools to choose from as well which all guests can access. The pick is the Ocean front pool with swim up bar. There is a private beach as well which is lovely. Once you are here at The Mulia you never want or need to leave. Everything is here that you need. We didn't use the spa but the menu looked so good. There is a well equipped gym and there are lots of activities available (my wife did yoga one morning). Kids are well looked after with the kids club and splash pool. We had airport transfers included and it made our arrival at Denpasar so easy. We are sad to leave but we will be back again and bring our family with us next time. This has been the best resort we have stayed in thus far. If you can afford it upgrade to stay at The Mulia or Villas so you have those extra privileges as mentioned above

We had the BEST holiday at the Mulia for 7 nights. We are both 60 years old and travelled with our son, his wife and their one year old daughter. We stayed in The Mulia, the Earl Suite, garden view in adjoining rooms. Our special deal included breakfast, high tea and either lunch or dinner. The Suite was large and luxurious. The hotel and grounds are impeccable and the staff exceptional. All food at the hotel is excellent and very reasonably priced (including room service which you can order by the pool). We spent most of our time in the pool with a private cabana overlooking the ocean. Surf was excellent every day which kept the boys happy. There were so many little extras which made our holiday special - our personal butler, top quality toiletries and linens, cocktails with high tea and the delicious box of chocolates we were presented with on our departure. If you book transport through the hotel, the Mulia representive will assist you at the airport. This made our arrival and departure so much easier, especially on the return trip when my husband forgot his bag with passport and computer! The Mulia representative at the airport had it all sorted when we arrived. He sat us down and waited for the items to be delivered before assisting us to check in. Such exceptional service! We can't wait to visit again.

Getting the earl beachfront suite was one of the best things we have treated ourselves with, the hotel was beautiful, clean and the food was amazing, although pricey we would definitely come back here

This was our third visit to the Mulia and there will be many more to come. We think it is the only place to stay if you go to Bali. We have previously stayed in the Villas and the hotel rooms, and this time we stayed in the Suites. Our suite was simply enormous, and so beautifully laid out - everything you could possibly want, right down to the Jacuzzi on the balcony! As usual, the staff were amazing - it's hard to name individuals because every single one is unfailingly happy and polite, and eager to assist at all times. Wonderful service. The only drawback is the price, but if you want to be indulged, this is the place for you.

The Brightest Star of Bali! The most perfect architecture, beautiful swimming pools, clean & comfortable beach, huge restaurant with the best variety of food. Excellent welcome & goodby service. One minor notice - bathroom needs more light (not easy to put makeup).

Great location, excellent service---everything top notch! Employees were friendly, clean and very efficient. Absolutely wonderful suites with stunning bathroom Great multiple pools for families and couples
