We stayed there to end our trip in Bali. Despite the holidays - even if in low season - the occupancy was good and we were not disturbed by kids or noises etc... Service was good and hotel accommodated us with a late check out. Gym is good as well.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here, food is great especially sea food. We thought breakfast was also great although we ate at the quieter restaurant overlooking the beach. Staff are so friendly and attentive and cannot do enough. Taxi rides are cheap and easy from this hotel or you can even walk to the local mall or shops. The beach and pool are lovely just enough and not overcrowded. If your looking at a relaxing hotel, nice walks or bike rides and good food we would recommend the Laguna.

We came here for the sole purpose of relaxing on the beach and swimming in the ocean. To that end, the Laguna was perfect. If you're looking for the "real Bali", this is not it. But if you're looking for a beautiful place to pamper yourself and enjoy the ocean, you can't do much better than this. The beach is wide, clean, and has very gentle water (no major waves). The water is shallow enough to wade for a long ways out. The water does recede quite a bit during low tide, but that was fine for us as our toddler happily played in the small tide pools left behind. Unlike other beaches in Bali, there were only a couple of vendors who didn't bother us much. We also loved the design of the pools at the Laguna. There are swimming pools winding everywhere throughout the grounds of the hotel, you can literally swim from one end of the hotel to the other. There's also a really nice children's pool which is shaded from the sun by mature trees, and there are small fountains in the children's pool which entertained my little one for hours. Rooms: everything you would expect for this price range, comfortable but nothing particularly special. Wifi: good Food: the buffet breakfast had a ton of variety and was very good, as was the service at breakfast. Lunch and dinner however, was underwhelming. I ordered a pasta dish at dinner that was so salty I couldn't even eat it. The waiter was kind enough to take the dish off the bill for me and offer to serve me something else, but still. I'd recommend going elsewhere for lunch and dinner if you can. Location: there's a shuttle bus that takes you to "Bali Collection", a nearby outdoor mall with shops and restaurants. You can also get there by walking along the beach for about 10 minutes. Not much else is within walking distance except for other luxury hotels. 30 minute drive to the airport, 45 minute drive to Pura Uluwatu.

The hotel is beautiful but old and requires more attention. Access to water from the room is a plus indeed, but the rooms are not very clean and humidity making it uncomfortable at times. Staff are friendly but not transparent, for example they didn’t even give us the chance to choose the most suitable venue for our new year’s party. In conclusion, as Spg platinum members we haven’t received good service like in other hotels.

Whilst the setting is pretty spectacular and the lobby and reception area are very beautiful the rooms themselves are looking a little tired .. the hallways and particularly the carpets are downright tatty with awful smells from one corridor and big slashes in the carpet in the others as if they have tried to patch them which is appalling given the carpets all look ancient . The shower recess was also a little grubby looking with a broken drain cover . The food is ok but we had a long wait for lunch one day by the pool which is hard to explain in a 5 star resort with what seemed pretty low occupancy levels ! All in all ok but nothing really to rave about and we wouldn’t return given the number of new and pretty great looking nearby resorts such a the Mulia

It was an outstanding holiday in a wonderful resort for the entire family. The Laguna offers all the luxury you are looking for: a laguna which stretches over the entire resort, white sandy beach where you can go romantic walks in the morning or at night, spacious luxury rooms with balcony or direct pool access, with big bathrooms and a deep soaking tub, great breakfast buffet selection and excellent choice restaurants. Fully recommended for holiday makers who want that extra touch of relaxation and luxury. Hotel crew are always friendly and polite and and they do all to make your holiday to be a memorable one.

We are staying at the Laguna Luxury Collection Hotel for our Christmas vacation period. I would definitely recommend the Nusa Dua zone over the Seminyak or Kuta zone if you want to have calm and relaxing vacations. There are many options around Nusa Dua, most of them are luxury hotels, but prices in Bali are very competitive vs other "paradise" destinations. We chose the Luxury Collection because of its known brand ("luxury collection") architecture and the proximity to the Beach. Service is excellent of course, as you can expect from a hotel of this hotel chain (one of top-brands in Starwood Hotel Chain, as per my experience). Concierge, front-desk managers, breakfast and lunch personnel are just great. Special mention to the breakfast Personnel Team who made us a memorable breakfast service one of the days we were staying.

After a few years we went back because our last stay was great. Again this hotel doesn't disappoint. Especially the breakfast is something to enjoy and spend some extra time at. Various buffets, friendly people and really good food from the fresh croissants (why have them when you;re in Bali....?) and the sushi, dim sum and other Asian bites are fresh and wonderful. The lagoon of course is great, but also the beach, the Spa, etc. Yes F&B prices are higher then elsewhere, but the quality and surroundings more than justify the prices. If anything I would suggest a change in the bathrooms of the lagoon access rooms as showering in that bathtub isn't in relation to the rest of the hotel. We will go again.

We had a night in an awful hotel in Bali first, as a SPG member I called the Laguna team and asked for help. They saved our family vacation. From devastation to paradise. We stayed many times in Bali, The Laguna is different, the associates are even more friendly, take really good care of one and made this such an enjoyable stay for us. The property is huge and well maintained in every corner. The beds are so comfy to sleep in. The lagoon’s and pool’s are wonderful, the private beach is so clean and there is enough space for all guests. We ate at every restaurant and the food was good in all of it, the resto at the beach is outstanding. The atmosphere is great and the food quality is very high (we live in Shanghai and go to many of the top restaurants regularly - so this compliment means something). Perfect stay, excellent property and the best associates.

We had a suite with lagoon pool access. The rooms are nice, no one really was using the pool - except us (and one harmless kid). The restaurant by/on the beach is the highlight. We had a couples massage - which was ok. The spa was nice.
