I stayed with my 5 yo girl. The room is lovely, great size, we had a nice private room overlooking back pool and garden. It is very quiet considering it is still in the thick of ubud main streets. The staff were exceptional, and very good English, easy communication. Excellent pools, 3-4 seperate pools! Great for staying with kids. Clean rooms, good bed, although high pillows ( I prefer soft) It's about 500m from main ubud street, still in the thick of busy area. Traffic is very busy. Good massage, and great food all very close.
we stayed for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. we had breakfast included with our stay which consisted of cereals, muesli, yogurt, pancakes, bacon, eggs cooked any way you liked them as well as indonesian food. the staff are all very helpful and friendly. we became friends with Iluh Citra in the kitchen, lovely lady. nothing was ever a problem. there are 3 swimming pools to choose from and the sunti have their own day spa. they also have drivers out front who are willing to take you any where you want for a small fee. we were close to restaurants, cafes, heaps of shops and massage places it was brilliant. the traffic can be horrendous out on the street in the morning and afternoon but you cant hear it inside the resort its very quiet. we were in walking distance to monkey forest road and the palace as well as the ubud markets, theyre all about 30 min walk away but there is so much to see on the way you'd be mad not to stop.
Friendly staff, Comfortable Bed, Well presented rooms, good sized patio with pool access. Excellent location. Fabulous 4 night stay in pool access room. Have stayed once before & will definitely be booking again fro our next trip.
What was to be a three night stay became seven nights. The GS is not five star, with doors jamming and the bathroom a little dark and dank, but on the whole it's great value. Beds good. Daily provision of twirls and bed remade. Terrific breakfast. Obliging staff led by manager Supattra who made us and other s feels so welcome. The location is good with nice restaurants closeby. Oh, and the pools (3) are great.
The hotel has 3 pools, a gorgeous garden and several buildings which house a variety of rooms. We stayed in the Super Deluxe room and it was always clean and tidy. There are many hard working people at the hotel that keep the grounds neat. The staff is friendly and helpful if you have any problems. They prepared a kind surprise for our 9th wedding anniversary, helped us arrange taxis to and from the airport (extra cost), and offered a large breakfast every morning and it is included in the price of your room. The room facilities are modern, however, the hotel is beginning to show some wear and tear as our room could have benefited from a fresh coat of paint. Great value for money, good location, and incredible staff! We would definitely stay at the hotel again.
My family and i stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is nice and clean. We found all the staff very warm and friendly, always there to help if we needed anything. The food delicious. Thank you so much
We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel offers the basic amenities one would require. The rooms needs a bit of updating and you can see some of the things are getting old. There was no safe, or hairdryer in our room which was a bit of a let down. However the breakfast which was included was decent. It's in a good location, only 10min walk to Ubud centre and 5min walk to nearby restaurants. It's also quieter because of its off-location.
Basic room. Basic bathroom. On arrival, you can see that the room is very old and very in need of updating. The TV is a box TV from the 90s. The room appeared clean but the sheets were outdated and had little stains. After the first night we got new sheets and it was fine from then. There is a balcony overlooking the pool from our room which was cool, but we never used it. There is a slight gap in the doors to the balcony where mosquitos sneak in so you need to repel every night. Air con is good and worked well. Bed is comfortable. Blackout blinds good. Breakfast was included in our room (some people are not and will need to pay extra). Breakfast buffet is variable. Most days good. Have and egg station - though slow if lots of people dining. English at the egg station isn't great so sometimes they don't understand what you want. Just be basic and order the eggs as they come. Don't ask for some fancy eggs benedict type thing and you'll be fine. Bathroom - very very in need of updating. Shower weak, walls need regrouting. It looks like a shower from when you're at school PE. Not great but it did the job I guess. They give you 2 free bottle of mineral water which is nice. The towels seem old but clean. All the staff are very nice. Would come back here if the rooms were updated. Very good location for ease of access to everything. About 20 min walk to the main town. Shops and restaurants all close by too. Wifi adequate for social browsing.
We stayed 3 nights here. On arrival the grounds looked fantastic with 3 pools. The rooms themselves were quiet spacious but the down side was that the showers were dirty and old they need an upgrade. Low water pressure in the shower not real hot and it came in waves with water spraying everywhere. There was a bit of commincation issues with the staff out the front as when I arrived in my room the toileties supplied were used ones and when I requested fresh ones I got three shampoos and nothing else. There are no safes in the delux rooms which was disapointing. The superior deluxe which states extra large bed was no bigger than the deluxe room size bed however this room had a safe and if you get the lower floor you can have a veranda and walk out to a seperate pool. In the superior deluxe room we had issues with the water on arrival (no water) but this was fixed. The manage came and spoke with the guests at breakfast which was good to see. We expressed a few issues with the room and he took the information and when we returned back later that day it was all fixed up. There are resturants within walking distance although the foot paths in Ubud are not very good. So be careful. Sacred monkey forest is within walking distance. There is a cash exchange just across the road and massage places and a salt healing room which is a really nice relaxing experience. Thing to remember is its not 5 star so all in all you get what you pay for. I would stay again for the price we paid but they do need safes in all the rooms.
Stayed for a night, get away from busiest Kuta. Location is very strategic, within walking distance to Monkey Forest. Many restaurants around. Limited dinner options in restaurant. Room is OK, have balcony with pool view. Friendly and helpful staff (s). Amenities provided, fast wifi, old style TV. Building style as usual Balinese style. Their cocktails (pina colada worth 5*).They provide transport if we would like to see some dance attractions (schedule provided). Free welcome drinks upon check in.
