We had a lovely stay at The Grand Sunti . We were in the Deluxe Room and it was very clean & spacious . The property is very well maintained with wonderful landscape and beautiful pools. Location is perfect and is very close to all main attractions. Easy to travel by renting a motorbike at the property. There are many excellent restaurants like Taco Casa as well as supermarkets at walkable distance. All the staff members ( Ayu , Fica , Sayu and so many more... ) were extremely friendly , attentive and hospitable. Always cheerful and welcoming . Absolutely fantastic service ! They arranged for our transport right from Airport Pickup as well as for Daily Tours for a reasonable cost. The Driver (Madi) was very professional and friendly. We are very glad we chose to stay here and will definitely come back the next time we visit Ubud. Highly recommend The Grand Sunti .

location in Ubud street, not far from monkey forest and Agung Rai museum. small and old building but so cozy and enjoy stayed there. Good ambience, Good breakfast, Nice employees. Only a little bit note about room: old fashion, so need to renovate the interior

Very nice hotel. We had a very clean room with 2 comfortable beds, minibar, AC, TV and a private bathroom with toilet, shower and bath. There is a nice swimmingpool with beds and a restaurant. The included breakfast is very complete with eggs of your choise.

Pro: -Free wifi -AC -Breakfast buffet was great. -Awesome location in Ubud (Monkey forest is nearby. Monkeys!) -Lots of marts nearby. -Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby -3 pools -Staff spoke great english -Western toilets and hot shower. -Plenty of shops within walking distance -Staff was very friendly and accomodating Con: -No safe/safety deposit box -At the time of our stay (Jan 2018), the place next door was being demolished. Very loud.

Lived up to its promise as a great family hotel The rooms spacious, the swimming pools a plenty and the environment truly really green The staff were kind and helpful catering to all our needs. Thank you Sunti

I was recently in Bali for our vacation with my wife and 10 year old, and Ubud was the last stop before we flew back home. We had great expectations after spending 8 days across 5 hotels in Bali - and were utterly disappointed. We had booked our superior room via and had been told that our 10 year old could stay for free. We were disappointed when they said - only the stay was free - we'd still have to pay for the breakfast. A big let-down after our experience at 5 other places. The superior room we were given was in a building over 40 years old. It looked great - like a museum from the outside and we were looking forward for our stay - till we opened the door. Everything required renovation. Looks like the hotel property next door had got the hint - there was an excavator next door drilling/digging away and soon our heads were in pain. We asked for a change in room - which they claimed to have upgraded to a "deluxe" room. The entire building was damp, the walls wet. The bathtub was leaking into the wall of our room. The linen was smelling damp, and we had lots of mosquitoes for company. The deluxe and super deluxe are in a building that is just 20 years old - told the hotel representative who got the room made up for us. We had noisy next door neighbours - and with just a connecting door it was quite loud and scary till 2am for our child. The pool overseeing our room was unclean, chipped. The sliding door was missing a latch - and we discovered a perfect entry for mosquitoes. The TV sets are ancient, the channels analogue and the picture grainy - I think because of the rains, or the antenna was out of alignment. The restaurant is deserted - I think no one prefers to eat there except for the complementary breakfast (not for our child) - which was surprisingly good - the best part of our 2 night stay. I'd wait for the property next door to come up and chose that over this one. The photos posted at the website must have been taken during better times! To sum it up - avoid!

The Grand Sunti caters to all travel budgets from basic traditional to large poolside rooms. The property is centrally located & close to many great restaurants, walking distance to the Monkey Forest & Ubud Markets. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

The location was central and within walking distance of many restaurants, spas, cafes, the Yoga Barn and the Monkey Forest. My first impression was that it looked exactly like the photos and the pool was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My first night I realized I hadn't brought the correct power adaptor and the front desk was able to lend me one. My first full day I met Iluh, who worked at the hotel and her and her husband were very friendly and helped me book trips to see the nature around Ubud (waterfalls, volcanos and the rice paddies). She also helped me book travel to the airport the day I checked out and book massages at the hotel. The room was cleaned everyday and the AC worked very well. My only complaint is that the internet wasn't as fast as I'd like and the breakfast buffet was not great, especially since there is a lot of great food in Ubud. I'd recommend the hotel since it was a very good value for the money and I had a wonderful trip on my first visit to Ubud.

This is a great hotel for a great price. Rooms are clean and well kept, staff are wonderful and go out of their way to accomodate your every need. Beautiful landscaping and 3 great oasis in the middle of busy Ubud.. I have stayed here twice and will come back again.

I stayed here on my last night in Ubud, most importantly because it was a nicely rated place on the way to the airport. I was amazed at how much a person could get for so little. The rooms are large, the stone bathtub and showers are well cleaned and inviting and the outdoor space is well kept. Everyone who works there is very friendly and welcoming and breakfast is included.
