The Bali Khama Beach Resort & Spa

Need to evaluate The 4 star predicate far from standard. Seriously they need hotel audit. This hotel needs some maintenance : 1. Air-con trouble 2. Breakfast standard 4 star hotel not variations (only ala carte with same menu) 3. Bad service 4. Wi-Fi did not go well 5. No body in pool area.. So we have to walk and looking around to find them when we need assistance. 😫 6. No wellness service 7. Dirty beach view 8. Need to improve lighting in room hotel We have to say that we're not recommend anyone to stay until they upgraded service and make sure this will not happen to any guest.

I stayed here 3 years ago on our honeymoon for 4 days in private pool villa. This is the best place I have ever stayed. The room was beautiful with a small pool. Everything in room was done very nicely. The room was decorated on arrival. The staff was corporative. They were always ready to help you. And would like to arrange what ever you need. They even arranged breakfast for us at 6 in morning as we had early morning departure. I would surely stay there again when I get chance. Highly recommended.

We had been here in mid feb. Booked Deluxe room for 2 nights & romantic pool villa. The property is really beautiful. Located in Nusa Due with some of the best beach resorts in and around. Flaws: *Not too many staff in the hotel *Very poor lighting in the night. We literally had to shift our room to lobby facing. *The beach doesnt have any good sitting chairs. We had to go to the next resort to sit and relax at the beach. *At the nights, there were flying cockroaches. So we had to be in the room only. *The wifi connectivity is poor. Yes, I would admit that this place looks dam beautiful in the day light.

I'll start by saying, we always stay at The Bali Khama whenever we are in TB. We are sadden on our visit this week, to see the place needing much love and attention. The staff are beautiful and go way beyond what is needed, and are quite clearly embarrassed with not providing simple menu choices , with a "sorry no have", we ended up eating out for our stay! Simple things, from the towels marked, the welcoming glasses we used not picked up from outside till the 4th day of our stay. The room not made up on our last day, when previously it was . The grounds look like they have not been mowed and cut for months, and also too perhaps no fogging, as the mossies were the worst we have ever encountered. Will we stay again when we next visit, perhaps, as it suits us being so close to many other restaurants and we like boutique hotels, and could never stay at the other big properties along this road. But Management seriously need to look at putting some love back into this amazing hotel, the staff can only do so much to get your guests to come back!

We went on our honeymoon and we stayed is this hotel with the room type "Deluxe Room" for 2 nights & "Romantic Pool Villa" for 4 nights. When we arrived in hotel, we liked it for the first site and our room was very near to beach and we can see the beach while coming out of the room. The Hotel looks good in day time but when we come back in evening it seems like its a ghost place. They dont provide Iron in the room, U need to ask for iron everytime and they may not provide Iron evertime becouse they only have 1 iron in the big resort which seems very bad. Very dim lighting which feels very irritating, dont have any light on beach side area which seems very unsafe. The hotel just next to Bali khama is much more live, vibrant & feels good. Food is OK not that good or bad. Staff is nice, actually people in Bali are very kind spoken. They upgraded us to Romantic pool villa 1 day before. If you want clean beaches the stay in Nusa dua location but Nusa dua hv more good properties then this. Bali khama dont organise any sort of new year party. if u r in Bali khama u wont feel that its new year. In Nusa dua location, Only hav 1 good place to visit that is "Bali Collection". This Property is almost at the end of Nusa Dua. When traveling from Seminayak or Kuta to Nusa dua on Bike it feels very horrible and dangerous at night. If you wanna hav alone time, clean beaches, silent place then stay at Nusa dua with some diff property or you can stay in this property as well.

Stayed in romantic villa with small private pool and no view except concrete wall so last description was wrong. Pointed this out to staff. Total lack of interest. Kettle not working in room. No milk or drinks in fridge etc etc This place has no amenities. Meeting room is not at all that! Sadly with tripping up at night due to no lights or very lights and toilet constantly breaking until I fixed it this place is not worth 250 per night! Whoever said the breakfast was great must have a very sad home diet. I have never seen such small amounts and as for freshly cooked the hash brown was at least a day old and aging fast However I have asked for an upgrade for our last two nights in view of the very disappointing service and ambience. We shall let you know!

Booked 16 nights with Dial-A-Flight having stayed here before. It did rain a bit but we knew that it was the rainy season. All staff were great from Reception, breakfast servers, pool guy, room cleaner and gardeners. Breakfast was served to you rather than a buffet, we chose from the American breakfast which included yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, sausage, bacon, hash brown and eggs cooked to your liking. Fruit juice, tea and coffee. I jokingly suggested breakfast on the beach and the next morning a table was set up for us. We were in a standard superior room, toiletries including toothbrush & toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, body lotion, soap. Two complimentary bottles of water each day. Large safe, adequate wardrobe & cupboard space, coffee & tea making facilities, universal socket, flatscreen TV, wifi in room, hairdryer. Gardens and swimming pool well maintained. Childrens pool was up to a depth of 0.9 metres. Large pool from 1.4 to 2.0 metres. There is a computer room near reception (free of charge) and a reading room. If you can afford it we checked out the rooms with private pool, very nice but we were happy with our room. The only downside was non-guests coming off the beach and using the pool but the staff soon ejected them. All in all had a fantastic time and hope to be back soon.

We really enjoyed staying here for a number of reasons. 1. On our first night our family checked-in in the afternoon and were awaiting the arrival of grandma flying into Bali, landing around 9:30pm. We were waiting excitedly in the lobby, even though the front desk staff said that they could call us when she arrived, we were excited and didn't mind waiting. After a while the phone rang and the staff member came to talk with us. It turned out that grandma couldn't find the driver we had arranged so the airport staff had called the hotel. The staff member asked if we had the number of our driver and made all the calls to sort out the confusion. He kept us well informed of what was happening and when she finally arrived, made her arrival as simple as possible. 2. Breakfast. While it wasn't the giant buffet we are all used to on holidays, our food was cooked fresh to order. They always managed to give us more food that we asked for. As a gluten free, vegetarian I was able to eat well, and my gluten free son was also catered for easily within the menu options. They were flexible with us choosing parts from their various types of breakfast. 3. Birthday Surprise. On the third day it was my husband's birthday. We had mentioned it briefly during breakfast and had also decorated our room to surprise him while he went for a morning walk along the beach. After a full day out we arrived back in our room around 9:30pm to the staff knocking on our door singing him happy birthday with a cake and candles! It was a really lovely surprise and had us all intrigued about how they had known - whether it was the staff at breakfast or the housekeeping staff, we still don't know. 4. Peace and quiet. We booked three rooms: a romantic villa with a pool, a garden view room for our two teenagers to share and a garden view room for grandma. We planned that it would be nice to have a private pool for relaxing if the big pool was busy...well it turned out that there was never anyone else in the big pool! So we had an olympic pool and a private pool to choose from. 5. Beach location. It was lovely to be able to stroll along the beach and also do a little shopping with the local ladies on the beachfront. We were happy with our purchases and bargained for good prices. One lady came and held up items on the beach while we were swimming, which was actually pretty effective since we really liked what she showed. 6. Street location. This resort is well situated on the street front side too. --> Directly across the road there is an Alfamart (a small supermarket) where you can buy snacks, water, drinks, etc. I even saw a good selection of cheese at another supermarket a little further down the road if you turn right from the resort. IF you're tired of eating so much food you could easily have a nibble platter of cheeses, pickles, etc on crackers. --> In front of the resort there are several massage places. We tried two different places and returned several times. They were clean, attentive and good at everything we tried. My favourite was the Indian face massage! Highly recommended. --> In between Alfamart and the massage places there is a little restaurant which isn't yet on TripAdvisor but had the best staff! The guy at the entrance was the right person for the job, always engaging us in conversation. (He is originally from Komodo Island). The food was tasty and inexpensive. I found options for dinners here as a gluten free vegetarian. Good atmosphere and live music some nights too. The only recommendation I would make is that they should improve the lighting along the pathways so that at night you don't trip or kick your toes on the uneven-style pavers.

We stayed in Romantic Pool Villa, it is exotic and huge. Location of this place is just perfect, right on the beach. Beautiful view from the pool as well. This place is really quite and relaxing, if you are looking for something with high in energy please avoid. Breakfast was decent but very little on variety and quantity. I had better experience in terms of breakfast in other hotel where I stayed in Kuta. The resort is too dim in evening and night time. It’s creepy while sometime due to low lighting condition.

We stayed in Bali khama for 2 nights in romantic pool villa. But the stay was totally unsatisfactory. The rooms are pretty big, but very few people stay in this resort. we found only 3 couples in this entire resort. The pool is not clean, there are mosquitoes in room. The food was not upto mark. But staff is very friendly and courteous. They do not have enough plug points to charge 2 cell phone together. Overall we stayed full day out and returned in the night at hotel with torch to reach our villa.
