My sister and I visited this resort for 10 days and it was amazing! We like to have a little peace and quiet and feel like the world is being shut behind us and this is exactly what happened! We are from Sydney and like nice restaurants and bars to roam and this was right on the doorstep of some of Seminyaks best restaurants. When you walk off the busy street you walk past the friendly security staff (they make you feel very safe and welcome) and along through the resort and you really feel very secluded and away from the street. The staff are absolutely amazing and attentive and genuine. They are always friendly and happy! They offer a full service villa clean daily where they change bedding, clean the villa and refresh all towels. The Gardeners also offer to come and clean the pool daily but we didn't need it. We stayed in a 1 bed villa and the pool had amazing sunshine all day. The villa is spotless and clean, I have read reviews saying the resort is tired, I disagree. The resort is a typical Balinese style with lots of character and very very clean. The decor was lovely and the private pool and sundeck area offered us a private retreat daily. The message in our rooms was amazing and very well priced and I would recommend. The resort arranges free shuttles to and from the airport which is great service.
The location is perfect. Very close to the shoppingstreet, the bars, restaurants and the beach. The villas are very nice and clean. But the most lovely was the staff there. Very friendly and sweet. We even get a big cake for our anniversary:-)) thank you so much guys!!
I'll start with the only good thing was the staff always happy and obliging.the first day we never received any water, when we ordered breakfast you never got what you asked for fully operational kitchen not, no teabags or coffee or milk, had to ask for the water dispenser to be replaced if you didn't ask it wouldn't be done. The outdoor furniture was very old and uncomfortable and stained the TV didn't work had to ask for someone to fix all of this should have been done before we arrived . They don't sweep under the bed my husband found a used bandaid under the bed yuk! The shower had no water pressure and the toilet didn't flush properly. After a few days they stopped lighting the coils and fogging the bedroom again we had to remind them. The boards around the main pool were very dangerous, loose & unstable. The breakfast menu was very limited no cereal etc. the villa pool never had any rails to get in and out of very hard for older adults also the same in the main pool. The glass on the coffee table very dangerous knocked myself several times lucky didn't break skin. AND THE FINAL THING HAVING BREAKFAST AND A RAT APPEARED ON THE KITCHEN BENCH 😖😖😖😟I would not recommend anyone to stay here until they did a lot of renovations
OMG we had to change our hotels from an absolutely awful run down piece of rubbish to this gorgeous villa. Nothing was ever too much trouble, the staff were so very helpful and friendly. The villa was very clean as was the private pool. The breakfast cooked every morning in your room was lovely and fresh, with the chef being friendly and willing to help or cater to your every whim. Zidni at the restaurant & bar was so lovely and made the best ever cocktails and satay and was up for a chat any time. The girls at reception were so sweet and willing to help with places to shop, eat and order you breakfast ... free shuttle to any where in Seminyak or Kuta once a day with chatty drivers willing to share the secrets of the best shopping sites. This Boutique Villas is central to the buzz and eateries in Seminyak. Whilst the villas could use some small cosmetic upgrades such as replacing the decking and shower head everything else was fantastic ... We will most certainly without any doubts be staying here with these lovely people again as they made us feel like family .. cannot wait for our next holiday :) We have no doubts that anyone staying here will absolutely love it ..
it all depends on what you are looking for and what you are use to or what you want to spend. We had villa 10. We are experienced Bali travellers and have seen it all. We wanted to spend a few days in the heart of Seminyak but be well back from the street noise, this place does just that. The bed is king size and comfy the bathroom large and has it all, the private pool is pristine and cleaned each morning. TV in outside lounge with music system and WiFi. TV in bedroom. AC worked and appeared new. Kitchenette has toaster, coffee machine fridge and cold and hot water dispenser so you don't need to boil water to make a coffee or tea. We found that this place was suited to purpose. We asked Zidnie the restaurant cook if he could prepare a meal for 4 as we were having visitors come from Denpasar for tea and he went out of his way to please, and served it in the villa. The meal was terrific as was all the staff. The villas are in need of some maintenance, mostly cosmetic not functional. Floor tiles in outside area are a little worn (big deal) and the shower hardware could be replaced as it is showing its age, otherwise we had 3 peaceful enjoyable days at the Amasya Villas. Oh, and yes mozzies abound in Semanyak wherever you are, mozzies coils and electric systems are provided. Staff also smoke each villa on a regular basis and nets are on all beds. It's the tropics and many non tropic tourists need to understand this is normal. Pack the Rid and Stingo's if you are sensitive to mozzies.
This place is just in the Center of the semniyak buzz. The suite with swimming pool is perfect for couples. Most of the places are walking distance. We loved the in-room breakfast with a personal chef. Though it's not a beachfront hotel everything else was great.
The Amasya enjoys the best location along the busy Seminyak street with many cafes, restaurants, massage, shopping and money changers. As each direction only consists of one lane, traffic jam can be bad during peak hours. It is located opposite the famous Ultimo restaurant, 5min walk to my favourite The Bistrot vintage restaurant and 10min walk to Ku De Ta. There is free two-way airport transfer i love it! Remember to email them for it. The location, the environment, the villa pool, the housekeeping are the nice things that I look forward to. However, they need alot of facility maintenance as it is getting competitive with all the modern-styled villas. The list of things to improve are 1) Air con is not cold enough, 2) Wi-Fi is forever connected but no internet it is frustrating, sometimes it works better outside the room but in the villa 3) Huge mosquitoes despite given notice of their efforts 4) String of ants on the table and floor so do not place ur food on the table 5) No iron for me to borrow and ask me to go minimart buy? 6) Not soundproof as I can hear neighbours' laughter once they return to villa at night, 7) Fridge cannot be closed fully, cracked tray inside and lastly 8) my room has this scary painting which i do not appreciate my friends guess it is an owl but i have nightmares facing it though sorry I got to blame that. Also strangely, at around 930pm everyday, there is sound of fireworks so do not be alarmed. I have been to better villas in my previous visits to Bali but it is the first time for my husband. He actually loves The Amasya as the villa huts and layout allow him to feel exclusive and traditionally old school.
Booked 9 rooms across 3 Villas in May 2017. This is a rundown zero maintenance villa resort. Wooden furniture falling apart, filthy, covered with mold and dust. Open living and pantry areas had gekkos (wall lizards) and cockroaches in every villa. Giant mosquitos bred on unkempt foliage and moss infested walls. Bats flew across the villa. A/c’s work only on one setting – low. No water pressure, you got to drip shower and toilet at half hour intervals for the commode cistern to fill up. Do not go by the images on the website. Totally misleading. The only reason the property fills up is, because of its location. Reception spoke very little English to even complain. Every request was a “cannot do”. Never again at this “5 star villa”. Ruined our holiday.
It was good but the AC was very bad . It was hot & still the AC did not work for first night . The changed to other room which was the same . Apart from this it was good . They r helpful & have drop service is also good were ever u wanna go which was good . Location is also better .
Great stay at this villa last month. Located at the Semiyak street which very happening at night. Chef will come to our villa to cook breakfast every morning for us. Private pool just right in front of our room and also it have a nice bathtub too. Enjoy the stay during the Bali trip.
