It was very late choice i made bcos all hotels were full around that time i visit bali and i needed it to transit. Only stayed 1 night and i couldnt sleep. The room was small, itchy bed sheet, yellowish towel, and tomorrow morning i LOST MY GLASSES. I have told the receptionist that i will check out at 1 pm. Around 9 am i went out to get some foods cos the breakfast was not good enough for me. When i returned at 12, i was so surprised to see my room has been cleaned up. I mean i have told the reception that I'm about to check out at 1 pm. How could they still clean up my room while inside there were still my private things, underwear etc. And i left my glasses next to the book i read before sleep the night before. It was gone. What made it worst was the Lady whom i spoke to. I called her asking bout this glasses of mine, the way she answered the phone was rude and so impolite. In the hotel business, and any other business where customers is your first priority, u must always friendly. I was so upset. I told her i wanna write this thing down on internet and she said ok just do it and just call the owner of this hotel too if i didnt feel satisfied. Bad staff, worse hotel. I will never forgive it.
I stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It is situated close to Sanur Beach (you have to cross a very busy highway) and close to many restaurant and bars. The room is quite small and the shower room is a bit claustrophobic, but you got what you paid for. The staff is very helpful and always happy to help with any inquiries.
I was here on February 2017 for 3 nights. The room and bathroom were clean, the staffs very helpful when I had a trouble with toilet. I booked this hotel without breakfast, but don't worry, there are many meal vendors around this hotel.
We stayed in this hotel from July 22 up to August 2 and we didnt find any problem. The staff are very kind and accommodating in extending thr services thank you to Eka wayan kuwik kawiana and thr mktg manager which i forgot the name. They are part of our success in achieving Gold in the 5th Bali Intl Choir Festival. The PSU Caboloan Chorale would like to extend thank you to this hotel. I think other reviews should be corrected, aside from a budget hotel (with a premium class) it has a high quality service. Thank you Sanur Agung Hotel.
Review for Budget Travelers 1. Five nights stay. Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel nearby was booked for the price point I desired. Attending a conference at Sanur Paradise Hotel. 2. On all matters related to stay, wi fi, food, air condition comfort-----you get what you pay for. 3. Cordial staff. They can arrange for laundry at decent prices, however if you are on a long stay. There are laundry services near the traffic light junction on the right of the hotel. There is a 24 hour KFC and a Dunkin Donut at the junction. 4. Further down this traffic light in a straight line about two minutes by taxi or mid range walk, there is a famous Nasi Padang Restaurant at affordable prices in an air condition environment. 5. Sanur Beach is about 15 mins to the sands and you have to cross an extremely tricky road junction. My advice is be patient and await your turn. Adjacent to the beach is a warung that serves a fish and rice package at US $ 4. Quite good. 6. Directly opposite the hotel and crossing the road leads you to another set of warungs after a 6 minute walk. They also serve the same Fish and Rice package set at US $ 3 thereabouts. Try the warm orange juice as well. Cheers
had a bunch of us stay here which caused some room/booking issues but was all sorted in the end, staff very friendly, rooms quite small but modern, and back rooms never see daylight, breakfast was set menu and very basic but beer was cold and pool was central and well cared for.
We booked a nights stay at Sanur Agung because of it's location, about 1 km from the Sanur Jetty. We arrived at 9pm, and were meant to catch the 730am boat to Nusa Penida. So it's location was perfect for us. The hotel is on a main road, so traffic in the morning is quite busy. It can be a little noisy, but not enough to disturb you in your room. There's a kentucky fried chicken and dunkin donuts close by. The hotel room was a bit small, but nice enough. The bedding was comfortable. The room & bathroom was clean. The room comes with a small fridge, a tv and 2 bottles of complimentary mineral water. The bathroom has a nice shower with hit water. Toilet & wash basin were OK too. The staff were accomodating. The swimming pool is nice. Parking space is sufficient. Good for an overnight stay.
For what you pay it is very good. The staff are friendly, the pool is at your doorstep and a short walk to shops restaurants and the beach. Negatives would be its a bit noisy but not uncomfortably noisy and the rooms can be a bit smaller than your usual hotel but overall it is good value.
We stayed here only for 1 night. First impression when we came in to the room that is not so big, the towels look not so bright as the bed sheet. The staff is not so friendly (maybe because we're also Balinese). And when we want to watch TV...Oh my God. It was like a bug. So small (14"). I've stayed in another hotel which is cheaper but it has bigger and LCD TV. There was a loud Music (Disco) across the street at night that made me could'nt sleep. So we checked out early morning.
I stayed only one night there due we came on late afternoon from Airport, actually we prepared to spent our holidays in Lovina Beach area.Basically this hotel is simple, room clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The location is on the main road side, so a bit noisy because located on busy street. The breakfast just OK, clean swimming pool. However we'll recommend this hotel to the travelers who looking for place to stay because this hotel close to the airport.
