We stayed here for 2 nights but wish we were here longer!! The resort is stunning, and the staff are amazing. We did morning yoga, offerings making class and a trek to the local village and rice fields with the hotel staff (all free activities) and everyone was so welcoming and friendly, I could not fault it. The food is great and the atmosphere is truly Balinese. The hotel staff even drove us to the local medical centre and waited an hour for us and drove us back! There is plenty to do, see and learn here, we will be back I promise! Saksuma x

We stayed 5 nights in a 2 bedroom villa with our friends. The resort was fantastic. The breakfast is very high quality and delicious. I managed to try most of the options and the Puri Sunia with the cinnamon toast and vegetable porridge is the best, would really recommend it. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Sentana for waiting in the rain for us as we were late for the shuttle. He also helped us out with some great tour and food recommendations. The only problem we had was the flaky wifi, it kept going down and would take a long time to fix. It was completely down for our last night and morning just in our section of the resort which was a shame.

We stayed at Puri Sunia during Christmas 2017, I stayed with my Girlfriend and two kids. It was in a lovely location, surrounded by beautiful rice paddies, trees, and nature. The resort was about a 10 minute drive from Ubud town centre, but was very easy to get there with the shuttle busses or taxis that the resort provided. The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful. You could tell that they wanted you to have an incredible stay, they always brought you what you needed and had nice conversations with you. The restaurant and food were fantastic, with freshly cooked Indonesian and Western meals and drinks! Overall is was an incredible stay and different to fault!

We booked the Puri Sunia based on reviews on Trip Advisor & we were not disappointed. The hotel is about 15mins outside of the centre of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields and jungle, it is so peaceful & beautiful. The staff are super friendly, attentive & professional. They took interest in all of their guests & it genuinely felt that they wanted you to have an amazing holiday. The hotel offers free yoga each morning, morning trek to local village, free afternoon tea and a free shuttle bus to Ubud-FABULOUS. We stayed in one of their suites, the rooms are big and spacious, clean & the bed were so comfy. We had the BEST time in Puri Sunia & we will definitely be returning during our next trip to Ubud. A MASSIVE thank you to all the team at Puri Sunia for making our stay so special.

Its an amazing resort. Ambience:Breath taking Internet wifi : Very Good Restaurant/food: Excellent/delicious Staff: Very polite and friendly Services : Excellent I had a stay at this resort 14 December to 18 December 2016. The front desk were very helpful in co-ordinating my site seeing. Thanks to Mika our driver the sight seeing was great fun. Mika was a ex puri sunia employee and a localite, very knowledgeable and reliable person. November - December is a good time as its just inset of rainy season, as per our experience and local info. This resort has yoga sessions private pools and an amazingly ambience and great services. They allowed me to check out with an outstanding bill of approx 800$ dur to some card issues. (i did pay eventually 😇), although throughout all my travels i haven't seen any resort bending so much for the clients sake. A must visit place

Loved every minute here. Beautiful location. Room is luxurious. Big comfy bed. Delicious, incredible food at the restaurant. Looked forward to breakfast each morning! Try the local rice porridge dish - the spices are amazing. Pools are sparkling and magic. Staff are so kind and helpful. Free shuttle into ubud and good advice from staff for activities although we didn't do too much because the resort was so nice. Monkey forest and the kecak performance were both highlights. The complimentary yoga was wonderful - in a picturesque outdoor location, so when you 'salute the sun' you can really see the sun sparkle through the rainforest. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Wayan Sudarma and his lovely team!

One beautiful place, perfect to relax! The staff is amazingly friendly and made this a wonderful experience!! Rooms are great, clean comfortable and lovely Food is delicious Can’t miss the spa! Can’t wait to go back!!

We stayed in Puri Sunia for a week in November - what they call the low-season because of the rains. We are a married couple in our 20s from the UK and were looking for somewhere to relax for our babymoon. We flew to Bali from Singapore and were picked up at the airport by a representative sent by the hotel. It was raining heavily when we arrived which worried us a bit but the following 7 days were mostly sun. I'd happily consider going back in the same season - don't let this put you off, the rains were mostly just in the evening. The pros of coming in the off-season are that the hotel has fewer guests meaning there's a really good chance you'll have one of the two pools to yourself for half of the day. Puri Sunia was a beautiful hotel 15 mins away from Ubud ( though with a complimentary shuttle throughout the day). While it's called a 'resort' it felt very cosy and homely, I believe there are 28 rooms on the property so it doesn't feel overcrowded at all. The atmosphere is something special, perfect for a babymoon, or honeymoon or for people who want to get away from the hustle of Ubud. Ubud itself is a nice town, ideal for people looking to eat good food cheaply (with many healthy options available). The sun trickles through the forest canopy and the most beautiful smell of frangipani wafts through the outdoor areas. There are plants everywhere and it really feels like a secluded hideaway. The atmosphere and staff make the stay great at Puri Sunia, everyone is very friendly and you're always greeted with a smile. We were quite particular with our breakfast orders but it was never a problem and the staff always got it right for us. The room we stayed in was perfect for what we needed, we stayed in a deluxe room, which had bottled water and daily fruit platter included in our stay. The sounds of frogs, birds and geckos can be heard each day/evening which adds to the vibe. We had a problem with our toilet which was promptly fixed and the bed was genuinely big enough for 4 people to sleep in. There were a range of options for breakfast to suit most people (including vegan options) with complimentary afternoon tea each day. Food was naturally pricier than local warungs but compared to the cost of a meal out in the UK it was still well priced. A lovely hotel, great staff - would certainly recommend for another low-season trip.

My son and I stayed for 3 nights in August 2017 at this hotel. A first class hotel and a great bargain for the money. Rooms were beautiful and beds super comfy. Staff was very attentive and quite a nice restaurant. I arrived at the hotel quite ill and the staff were able to find a doctor to come the hotel quickly to help me. About a 15-20 minute ride to Ubud. Worth it to be a little quiet and away from hustle and bustle.
