I travelled solo to Bali for a couple of weeks and decided to try this part of the island. I pretty much chose this hotel randomly. But I don't regret it! The staff is warm and caring from check-in to check-out. The hotel is conveniently located with nearby restaurants, spas, stores, etc. My room was well-positioned half way from the reception and from the pool and beach. I wasn't disturbed by surrounding noise. The wifi worked well even on the beach. And the food was good. The hotel is great for families and very child friendly. I initially picked this place randomly but I will certainly return and not by random this time! Overall I had a very nice stay in a very warm place!

Stay 6 nights at this hotel during Christmas holiday 2017. This hotel offer a relaxing ambience and good for family vacation. There are also so many restaurants and cafe nearby the hotel and lots of minimarket also. The hotel separated into two wings, garden n bech wing, which you will need to cross the road if you want to visit different wing both that's will be no concern. The main pool, breakfast venue, lobby, restaurant, access to the beach, etc located in the beach wing, although there are also two pools located in the garden wing. During the holiday we stayed 3 nights at both garden wing (deluxe room) and 3 nights at the bech wing (villa). Overall we had a nice and pleasant stay there. Some suggestion to hotel: - please provide shaving kit in all of the rooms as we need to ask it first before got it. It should become a standard amenities in each hotel room. - on the villa, please have a bit more lights (lamp) especially at the living room outside as we found it too dark in the night even after we turn on all the lights. - if possible please also provide mosquito repellent lotion such as autan or something else in the villa or room. We found mosquito spray and the one that need to burnt first is not too children friendly. - breakfast: got very bored with the breakfast menu on the 4th day, need more variety. My final words, i got a good experience at this hotel. See u again.

Very good rooms, very good restaurants, very good breakfast, very good lunch and dinner, good beach, lots of various rooms, very good hous keeping, very careful staff always kindly smiling, two sweeming pools.

We chose this hotel as we made the mistake of staying in Kuta last year. On arrive we were in a Tropical terrace room which was nice but way too small for 2 adults and 2 children. We paid to be upgraded to a Family Suite which was huge. Large master bedroom with huge ensuite, nice living room and fab kids bedroom with Bunkbeds and sofa bed and their own toilet. The outside terrace was also very large with its own little gate, only downside to this room is that the cleaners cupboard is right behind it so they have access 24 hours a day and due to this the children can hear any noises coming from the cupboard. The Master bedroom roof had just been painted and during our stay we could see why as the air-conditioning was leaking in the room. Breakfast is ok, have had better in other hotels but there was a fair range for instance one morning no fried eggs! The pool area is lovely although the decking could do with some repairs and a good paint, The beach is also well kept and the kids loved playing the pool games to win some free ice cream. Cocoas Beach bar is a great setting and the food here is also lovely. The pool staff especially Andy and the restaurant staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The maintenance man Danni was also very nice and any problems were sorted that day. We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel. However we had booked to return to the hotel again during our stay and would have defiantly rated you 5 star until money went missing from our room not a lot but 50000 idr. Then when we were leaving and after previously checking out we were spoken to very rudely by one of the male reception staff saying we had not settled our account, when everything had been paid upon arrival and then extra paid when we checked out he made us feel like criminals. I did not get his name but he left us with a very bad taste in our mouths and we have now cancelled our returning visit which is sad as we did enjoy it until the very last minute and the attitude of the man on reception was terrible and has lost you a returning customer. It does have a few areas that need TLC and security needs to be stepped up as I notice someone else had money taken also.

I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel for 2017 holidays. The experience was exceptional, the staff is great, offering you a smile every time and responding to any of your requests or questions. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms are jus part of a great infrastructure. The beach is the best part along with a extraordinary food. Totally recommendable! I will come back.

We have visited Bali numerous times and stayed at different properties ranging from resorts to villas. The Novotel Benoa facility and service was very disappointing. Here are a few reasons why: There were BUGS in the bed see photos!!! Our rooms were not ready till 7pm (2pm checkin) and were allocated different rooms from the ones booked WiFi didn’t work for a part of the stay Room amenities were missing or not working (safe not working, room slippers and gowns were missing, had to call for water replenishment) and despite informing the guest relations they were not provided On the positive side the staff, as in everywhere in Bali, were friendly but didn’t do much about improving the experience.

Myself and my family stayed at the Novotel in Bali Benoa from December 26th 2017-January 2nd 2018. The hotel is immaculately clean, you cannot fault the lack in facilities, or the choice at breakfast. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. We ate at the restaurant, located on the hotel’s beach, most evenings. The food & service were always great. Overall I really cannot think of a bad thing to say about the Novotel and I would encourage anyone to visit.

All the other facilities are good but the hotel is unsafe. i kept my bag in the room and i went out for some hours and returned late in night so i just slept. When i was about to checkout i counted my money and there i found that there is $100 and 4000/- indian rupees is missing. Someone has smartly taken out money from my bag, he/she did not taken all the money so that i get confuse and do not complain. Even the hotel staff is not able to trace the person who has done this. Rest all other facility was good

We booked this hotel because of the membership. Location was good and easy access to the beach. We were upgraded to the Cabana which wasnt so impressive mainly cuz of the condition of he room. Doors werent working properly, needed maintenance of the cabana to be done, lot of mosquitoes, lizard.... On the otherside service was great and wonderful staff including the manager who made sure we were well taken care. We were also given complimentary spa and parasailing vouchers for two, which was really worth. Last day we requested to move us to the tropical terrace which they did immediately and we found it to be more comfortable than the cabana. Atleast we could use the tub (in the cabana tub was outside and was really dirty hence we couldn't use it). Breakfast had OKAY spread, have seen better Novotel breakfast in other locations... also the service could have been a bit better. By 10 the energy level with the restaurant staff energy drained drastically and got not so impressive service. They also had several activities throughout the day which was fun. So overall okay stay and may be we go back. But if anyone thinking of booking Cabana, better book tropical terrace for both price and comfort.

We used my wife complimentary room from her Accor Advantage Plus membership for this stay. Arriving at the hotel in the afternoon, we were directed to the Accor member’s reception desk attended ny a really helpful and courteous lady who proceed to usher us to our room, a nice bungalow. Surprised, our room were upgraded and there’s a welcome cake waiting for us in the room. The room is really big, with a terrace with a shower to wash away the sands from the beach before you enter the room. The bathroom is huge, with separate shower and toilet bowl, a nice bathtub in the middle. In the closet we can find a pair of robes, an umbrella, and a small bag that you can use to bring your stuffs to the beach or swimming pool. The hotel is actually has two section separated by a two way road. Ours are where the cottages and beach located. The other side has hotel rooms, swimming pool, and tennis court. There’s always a handy security staff to help us cross the road. Our side of the hotel has a nice swimming pool with a separated kids pool. The pool has a shaded area with whirlpool. The pool is located few steps away from the private beach, so can enjoy the ocean view while relaxing in the pool or on the pool bench. The sands on the beach are soft and not sticky, the waves are timid, our kids really enjoyed their time here. The hotel also provides sand tools for the kids to play with. And after you get off the beach, they provide vessels of water to wash the sands away. Just as we returned to our room, we found a houskeeping lady turning the sofa into a bed for better sleeping experience for our son. Just excellent. There’s a lot of restaurant around the hotel, but please check the reviews first, some of them are pricey and some can be considered as tourist trap. Unfortunately a problem happened at night. Returning from dinner, we turn on electricity. But after more than an hour passed, the room temperature is still hot. I called the front desk to inform them that the air conditioning system was not working and they said they will get the engineering to work on it. 30 minutes passed without someone came to take a look at our room, and it is getting hotter. I visited the front desk and they said they were working on it. 30 more minutes and it became unbearable. I came up to the reception desk again (a bit angry this time) and after checking they said the engineering staff was currently looking at the outdoor instalation. I told them to please kindly check our room first. Finally few minutes later two staffs came to our room, working on the air conditioning panel, and voila, the cold air started to flow. I don’t know what they were doing during the previous hours, but at least the front desk staff can informed us on what they were doing. There’s a kids club near the pool with scheduled activity. Here the second problem during our stay happened. It was written that there will be basketball activity for kids at the tennis court in the afternoon. We asked whether we need to register for the activity and was told to just show up. My son went there at the scheduled time. There is portable basketball stachion on the court but no one was around. We managed to find a hotel staff who then called someone on the phone, and informed us that there will be kids club basketball activity there. My son went on to wait for 30 minutes in vain before finally gave up and disappointedly return to the room. In short, very nice hotel, very nice room, nice facilities, very helpful staffs on arrival, disappointing night front desk staffs and kids club staffs. Will we visit this resort again? Certainly, the cottages at the front of the beach are tempting. But I will make sure to confirm to manager on duty about kids club activity we would like to join next time around.
