Friendly staffs, nice ambience, balinese deco, indonesian ala-carte menu, swimming pool with sea-view. Loved my room which have 2 verandahs, a living room to watch tv with couch and coffee table, a small kitchen with stove if i want to cook which i didn't. Bedroom is just awesome with 1 of the verandah with landscape garden view, view of the swimming pool and of cource the famous beach. Overall, it's a good stay and the peoples at the hotel made it an awesome one for me . Stayed here for a peaceful quiet 3D/2N.

My mum and I stayed here for 4 nights in August 2017as our first destination on a two week trip to Bali. The stafff were exceptionally polite and accommodating throughout our stay with the hotel being a perfect location for those seeking a quieter and more secluded stay outside of the hustle and bustle o Nusa Dua and Kuta. The hotel itself has great amenities including a free shuttle to Kuta, a large outdoor pool and bar area, great restaurant and a spa/gym. However it must be noted that the hotel never seems to be extremely full and attracts a lot of one night tourist groups. At time the hotel seems post apocalyptically quiet which was great for us who were seeking a quieter holiday! We had issues with booking a sea view room and then being placed in a parking lot room. We were upgraded after the first night to the deluxe sea view room which had a great view...but had very basic finishing (broken door duct tapped etc).In addition, the driver did forget us in Kuta one day for an extra 1.5 hours....this wasn't a huge issue as they paid for our trip to Uluwatu temple as a consolation...however these management issues can be easily avoided! A summary of the pros and cons below Pros -Great location in a superb resort with 5 mins walk from Dreamland beach and 15 min drive to Uluwatu Temples -Exceptionally accommodating staff and large list of amenities -Free shuttle to Kuta (to escape the quiet) and drivers on hand at any time -Reasonably priced food -Great views of the coast Cons -Some rooms are tired and old (not a huge problem for the price paid though) but disappointing (superior view room) -Seclusion was a positive for us, however some may not like the fact that there aren't many shops near by For the price, it is a great get away destination....but best suited for those seeking a quiet stay in a quiet resort area.

Left my solid 4 star ubud accommodation behind after days of luxury and arrived at the new KUTA supposedly 4 star hotel, slightly cheaper than ubud but not by much. I had great expectations and was looking forward to continue my positive Bali experience in Uluwatu. Checked in and before going to the room I noticed a lot of mainland chinese around and very few Westerners and that got me wondering what the attraction was. I went to the room. After numerous attempts and three hours later I actually received a card that unlocked the door. Over that period of three hours I had to go to reception numerous times to ask to get into my room. Upon entering the "junior suite" what really hit me was a barely passable two star backpacker style room with all mod cons like stained worn out couch, tired mattress, old sheets and towels and an old style hotel bathroom of about 2x1.5m. The door safety catch was torn off. Clearly outdated and in a state of constant repair, this was not my idea of how I wanted to spend the next five nights. I had to ask the lady at the desk again just how many stars this place was. She confidently said four star which was obviously a load of horse s**t. I was furious at how the flight center could have possibly got this so wrong. Buffalo tours, the reputable hotel transfer company couldn't even find the place which kind of suggested that this was a fail from the start. I found out that this hotel is right next to a golf course and that would explain our loud cigarette chuffing friends but it is 20 mins drive from mostly everything else like shops, cafes and the main surf beach and temple etc, all the attractions I had come to see. To boot, numerous ashtrays were placed at every table and entrance which was not a good look. The pool is a good walking distance from the main area and I was intrigued to see three or four saimese cats on my way to the pool. If you are lucky you might even get one walking in the restaurant amongst the patrons while you are eating your crusty beef randang (not joking). ... pause.... ewww. Needless to say I got straight to work devising a way to get out of there. I cancelled my stay the very next day. The hotel is a hoax.

Our room was quite small, with a queen size bed, but very clean. Bathroom is small and looked a bit unfinished, but everything worked well. We had a balcony whilst staying on the fourth floor, over looking a beautiful garden and the golf course. Hotel has lifts and stairs too. Breakfast was lovely each day, as was the staff.

At first, you arrive there and say "well wow!". The view is beautiful, and the hotel plant is interesting. Then afterwards, you dig in. I had two different bookings. Three + other three days. One was via an e-travels site, another via travelling agency. The first three days they gave me a junior deluxe room since they had finished the superior rooms. Fair, plus it was close to my friends. The very same day I had asked to the guys at the reception to check for my other booking. Came back in the afternoon, they told me eveything was fine. It WASN'T. The day my friends left, what was "the general manager" told me, with his plastic smile: - You're living as well, aren't you? - No I'm not (same robotic smile) - (He then checks, finds my booking) Oh, here's your booking. The fact is: we've finished the superior rooms. Would you stay in your same room for 200k rupiah? (13 euros)? I'll arrange everything tomorrow at around 12. - Ok fair enough. The day after (at twelve): - Sir (another guy), so are you staying in the junior deluxe? - Yes - Ok it's 200k PER DAY - Could I speak with the ""general manager""? - Not here, will be here at around 15:00 (??????). Came back at 15:00 - The """""manager"""""? - Not here, willl be at 17. It's better if you go to the beach. Went to the beach. Came back at 18. Found him wandering around - Ooooooh, so nice to see you Mr! - Yeeeeeah, so great to see you as well! (two mannequins dialoguing!) - So, the "room file"? - Yep, you'll have to pay 200k per day more. - Am I? I thouyght in the beginning you were saying 200k as an overall, since it was your fault you didn't have superior rooms. - No we have (!!!!!). Are you then moving? - Yes... I... am? - Cool. Advice when you're ready. I'll send a guy when you're ready Please keep in mind I had spent the last SIX hours waiting for that """"manager"""" to show up. And it ended up me having to pack my stuff and move (1 hour more). My new "superior room". As an example, I've included a picture of my chair. It was embarassingly dirty. The view was towards the back of the hotel, depressive. The window towards the balcony required Hercules to close properly. I ended up being a mosquito airport. Mice, everywhere. The gym was 10 square meter, inside a gym tool broke while I was using it, of course nobody fixed it. You could see sigarette butts floating in the swimming pool. A psychotic music played all the time from early in the morning at countinuous cycle, playing in any corner of the "hotel". Internet was bad, over-bad. The restaurant was over-pricy and disappointing. EVERTHING was over-pricy and disappointing! The breakfast: first, keep in mind the hotel was receiving HORDES of chinese tourists each day. So of course, for breakfast, fried noodles and rice, SALADS, fried tofu, prawn chips! The chicken sausages were rose-ish the first day, brown-ish the second and dark brown the third, and then back again! Of course, you had to compete via heavy elbowing with the chinese pals at every resource you wanted to access. That hotel is a plain hoax. Period.

We would say that this hotel is suitable for business and family holiday. When we entered the hotel, they have a very beautiful ocean view and some of their rooms are facing the ocean. 7 minutes walking distance to dreamland beach. Large swimming pool. Some rooms construction are being held during our stay and according to them that they are upgrading the room. Hope to return and stay in the deluxe ocean new room in the future. Thanks

Nice hotel with a good view, quite one good for resting. Unfortunately the room looks a bit old with the interior inside. But the view are very nice. Breakfast was ok. A lot of Chinese group staying in this hotel. Over all, a nice plaxe to stay.

Where do I start? Breakfast was poor and mostly catered to Asian foods and almost always cold. Watery runny scrambled eggs I booked a deluxe room with ocean view, The first room was a great view but NEVER EVER should it have been classed as deluxe, FAR FROM IT!!! It was basic, small, with dirty curtains, the balcony was filthy, there was no hairdryer and the whole place smelled of damp. Back to the balcony, on further looking I noticed that one corner of the wooden balcony had completely come away from the other section..... The wood was clearly rotten, I gently wobbled it and it was so dangerous I went directly to the reception to ask for a different room. I explained about the balcony, she sent someone to repair it and I watched the guy stick one screw halfway in and left it. I touched it again and it came away so easily as the wood was rotten, it needs a complete new facia. My concern was if a child was playing on the balcony or someone who'd had a little too much to drink leaned on it they would have a serious accident/death on their hands. I was offered a junior suite butnitnhad a garden view and I'd paid for a deluxe ocean view..... They took me to another room which was the exact same thing as previous, by this time I was exhausted after 3 hours of being messed about plus my travelling that I just gave up and took the room. There is 24/7 piped droning ping pong music (the same music all the time) played throughout which drove me nuts...... The whole place smelled damp and musty. I had the spaghetti bolognese one evening and they'd put so much chilli in it I could barely breathe, I had to leave most of it, I asked for a glass of water to which the waiter replied, I'm sorry madam but the water is not free it will cost $1 for a glass of water....... Straw that broke the camels back...... Awful awful place...... So not worth the 4*

I would describe this hotel as a solid 3 star accommodation. Being hesitant to say here after reading previous reviews, we found our week long stay here perfectly fine. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was nice, and not overpriced. The pool and gardens were clean and well maintained. There is a bar by the pol, and you can order food to have down here. There is also a pizza oven for poolside pizzas. The room itself was clean, and on the basic side (hence a 3 star). A little worn (paint peeling etc) but clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was going the whole time, no problems with that. Unlimited wifi too. It is a bit isolated, but is only a 5 minute walk to Dreamland Beach, and 30 minute walk to Bingin and Balangan Beaches. A good base if you're there to surf or totally relax. They do a daily shuttle into Kuta (leaves at midday, and returns at 6.45pm). We opted to just get a taxi home later on for $20 or so.

I've stayed for 5 nights (in July 2014 actually) in their suite room with private jacuzzi ( too bad i guess the pool was leaking or what, we couldn't fuel it with water to the top, so it was almost half full and never could get to the top, so yeahh we ask hotel people to do something but they seem couldnt fix the prob, so never use the jacuzzi even for once). the food also so so and they serve almost anything quite long. wonders : room was clean and spacious, had private access to the room and the view from the open lounge was very beautifulll, its facing Indian Ocean and the scenery very epic. the room cost also not that expensive.
