The staffs were friendly. Really fast check in and check out procedure. I got a free late check-out up to 5 pm as an Accor member. The room was nice but still not as elegant as other Mercure hotel room that I've ever stayed. It seemed that it was one level below another Mercure standard. Breakfast was OK, but not so many choices.
Friendly and helpful staff especially Marsha. She is helpful providing information that we need. Will get the cab ready by informing them the time you required. Locate just beside duty free shopping area.
The AC broke down. Asked for a twin sharing, they accidentally gave king bed. F&b person said the hotel didnt sell pancake / waffle meanwhile its there on room-service menu. Nice room + bathroom Some piping construction underway at the hotel entrance right now
Expect at least minimum standards of cleanliness and service at Accor hotels. This definitely doesn't deliver. Filthy in room fridge and insects on the shelf. Very tired room and fittings well past their sell by date. Stopover spot for aircrew on budget airlines, so you have been warned.
We enjoyed our stay here but I would not recommend staying here with families, it's more suited to business people and couples! Throughout our stay many bus loads of business people arrived daily, besides that staff nice and food was delicious! On busy road very dangerous to cross but security always helped us, my advice stay closer to the beach
We arrived very tired from the airport and decided to have a massage at the lavender spa in Mercure Harvestland Bali, there were other guest when we went to the spa, so we were re arranged to 5pm and we thot we should pay up front first so later on at 5 pm we just go there and enjoy the massage without having to carry our wallet. So we asked for the price and produced such payment. At 5pm much to our disappointment, when we reached the spa, the therapist seems to had changed shift and said that we havent paid yet. So i confirmed with her if it is true that they have a 5pm arrangement with my room number (110) she checked, and said yes it is registered but we havent paid! And she insisted that if we want a massage we need to pay again, which i felt really unfair and to rub salt to the wound, she asked us to confirm with spa management at lobby which we did and also received the same disappointing reply that we have our appointment but need to pay "again" because payment wasnt registered, and when we went back to the spa, the therapist simply told us to make another arrangement for another time because she had a new call from another "paying" guest. This hotel is located on a very busy road which made negotiating our way around very difficult by foot. Our room was noisy and the bathroom had a strange odor. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast buffet. We felt the service tax on all food and drink to be excessive at 21% - all other locations we stayed at during our trip were much less. I would recommend for business not family travelers.
This is a very good hotel but the location may not be to everybody's taste. The most obvious issue with this hotel is that it sits on a very very busy bypass which is almost impossible to cross. This location may be a plus or a minus depending on whether you are looking for peacefull quiet location which it is not, or just a good base from which to explore the island which it is. The hotel itself is well appointed and ghetto staff are very friendly and helpful and will do their best to help you enjoy your stay. Bonita on reception was particularly helpful during our stay.
2nd stay at this hotel, booked 2 rooms & it was good experience. Bad smell in one room, but I didn't ask to change the room. As silver accor plus member, I was given for early check in around 9.30 AM (luckily there were empty rooms at that time). The only minus point from this hotel: My husband booked airport service to pick up us at the airport, but finally we cancelled the reservation (by email around 2 week - 1 month before our arrival, I forgot the detail) since we found car rental. But we were surprised that the hotel staff still picked up us at the airport. My husband took the airport service from hotel for early check in. At the hotel, he confirmed to the hotel staff about the airport service. The hotel staff said that the staff who received our email cancellation (regarding the airport service) didn't come to the hotel (sick). We still paid Rp 100.000 for the one way airport service even though we had cancelled the reservation of airport service.
Good room, nice foods, friendly staff. The hotel is actually good, when you are visiting Bali for business only. But for Holiday, You can find another MERCURE that closer to the beach or center of Bali. Hope the management read this notice and give me a voucher.. LOL
