Had an AWESOME & MEMORABLE stay here in Mahagiri Villas👏🏻 *the staff are super duper nice & mabait, very accomodating⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *the FOOD was GREAT👍👍👍👍👍 *the location is PERFECT📍📍📍📍📍 *the ROOMS are very clean as well as the towels, bedsheets & pillows👀👀👀👀👀 **Will definitely RECOMMEND this place to all my friends who’s planning to go to Bali #BucketList✔️💯

We loved everything about this place. The accommodation was beautiful and very relaxing. One of the reasons why we loved this resort was that it offered a restaurant and spa along with your individual villa compound. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It was my birthday while we were there and they made me a cake and put flower petals in the bath. We can really recommend the cooking class that we did there. The chef had amazing local knowledge and we learnt some great recipes. The location is also ideal as you can be relaxed and lazy by your pool but you are only a 10 minute walk (or a free 2 minute drive) to the bars and restaurants of Sanur.

This hotel ticks all the boxes for a truly relaxing escape. Our three bedroom villa offered the kind of privacy and serenity we all needed to to unwind after a crazy few months. Lovely suites are equipped with great air-conditioning, deep soaking tub and outdoor showers. The dressing room has loads of space and a dressing table for the girls. The staff in the hotel are amazing. Thy really go the extra mile for their guests. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is excellent and the selection from the menu offers something for all tastes. We travelled with a lactose and gluten intolerant friend so I called ahead to check the menu. The chef made sure there was a special afternoon tea treat, canapé and gluten free toast available. Lactose free milk is trickier in Bali, so she brought her own. The villas are situated a little distance from the beach but the hotel has a couple of cars and they will drive and collect you (FOC) to shops and beach in the Sanur area. All in all staying at the Mahagiri was a fabulous experience and highly recommended. We would definitely stay again

This is our fifth trip to Bali and the best accommodation that we've had so far (I think it's close to the best accommodation we've had anywhere). Firstly we were picked up from the airport and bought to Mahagiri - that was all included in the price. After checking in we were led down this beautiful walk-way to our private one-bedroom villa which had a private pool, stunning outdoor lounge area and a beautifully furnished air-conditioned bedroom. Breakfast is included in the price, and the selection is huge. You can choose to eat in the outdoor lounge in your villa or in the restaurant. Such decadence to have breakfast served in the villa! Afternoon tea is also served (price included) and the coffee is very good. Then onto cocktails in the evening - again served in either the restaurant or villa. Transport is on hand to take you and pick you up from anywhere in Sanur, at any time. There are some lovely restaurants to choose from not far away from Mahagiri. If you're looking to spoil yourself with a totally relaxing and indulgent holiday, complete with your own very private villa and pool then you have to check out Mahagiri. You won't be disappointed.

Thi was my first time visiting Bali and I had originally made a booking at the Hilton hotel, however I spotted hat appeared to be a good offer at Mahagiri Villas and opted to stay here. I was very impressed from the moment that I arrived. The staff are exceptional throughout - everyone from the front-desk staff to our cleaner and the waiting staff were fantastic and could not do enough. As for the villa, it was first class. Incredibly private and sound proofed from the neighbouring villas, we had a private pool and perfect outdoor seating area. Inside the villa, the air con made for a nice break from the humidity, and the entertainment equipment (hard disk drive full of movies) was well received, The hotel staff drove us on many occasions to the restaurants that we visited too. My only minor issue was the gym - being someone who runs everyday, I was quite keen to use the gym as it was quite warm on a few of the days, however the equipment is old and the treadmill and upright bike did not function. I did however brave the heat and run along the beach (500m away). I will be back!

Stayed in a three bedroom villa with friends. Villa was spacious and clean. Outdoor shower was truly wonderful. Breakfast and afternoon tea were included either in villa or the restaurant. Very flexible with the breakfast choices which were extensive. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Did the in Villa cooking class, which included a trip to the local market. I highly recommend this it was excellent and the chef Gusti was amazing. We then sat down to consume the food which was amazing (cooked enough for four of us with left overs). Nothing was too much trouble, chef even added a satay dish when we asked to be shown how to make satay sauce. Would highly recommend this villa complex. Some areas of improvement: would like mugs in the room for tea and coffee and tea towels in the kitchen.

We stayed in Mahagiri Villas for a couple of nights to unwind before a long trip home to Europe. The location is quite convenient close to the main shopping street in Sanur, and since they offer free driver service within the area - it couldn’t be easier to get around. The villas are clean and nicely appointed with private pool in a small but very stylish outdoor enclosure. The beds and bed linens are great! The breakfast is well prepared and served a la carte style in the villa or in the restaurant. There are some minor wrinkles that should be easy to iron out. We hardly had any wifi reception in our villa, upon arrival our villa was infested by mosquitos, there are no mosquito nets etc. But every issue was dealt with instantly and with great concern. Everywhere we were met with smiles and kindness. We would return.

We stayed here for 7 days with my husband and 3 daughters. Only one of us had visited Bali before our stay but in a different area. The main reason for choosing this resort was because we were a family of 5 so needed 3 bedrooms. The taxi met us at the airport which was all inclusive and when we arrived the staff were more than welcoming. We were walked down this beautiful garden path to our villa and were really pleased. The huge Balinese wooden door separates you from the rest of the resort with private pool, air con in every bedroom and the main lounge dining room which was huge!. All rooms are ensuite and have an indoor bath and outdoor shower which was again private. Beds very comfortable, but the villa looked a little tired and in need of a little freshen up throughout. The road noise was quite loud for the two bedrooms where the girls slept so we asked if there was a possibility of moving and the manager could not have been more helpful. Within an hour we had packed moved and were back in an identical villa but more peaceful ! Breakfast was included either in your villa or at the restaurant area. Fantastic choice of food throughout the day. We LOVED the local coffee which came cup after cup after cup ! Unfortunately we had a huge amount of rain which stopped us visiting a number of attractions and going to the island Lembongan which we learnt had a Mahagiri Resort on it which we were keen to visit. The Spa was a great way to spend an afternoon in the rain and we all took advantage of the treatments including a special offer of a 2 hour massage, body scrub and milk and honey soak which was the equivalent of about $45 NZD !!! The staff were excellent and again so welcoming. After walking through town and finding the road which led down to the beach on the first day we ended up having lunch at a new Beach Club called ABC/Artotel. It was unbelievable. Day beds on the beach (when its not raining!) a spectacular bamboo structure built around a tree which surrounded the restaurant and pool area and fantastic food and service. The overall impression of Mahagiri was the level of service was outstanding, all staff are so gracious and courteous, nothing is every a problem even when running us to town for evening meals, you just ask the restaurant to call Mahagiri and within minutes your car is waiting outside to bring you home all free of charge. We used this a lot due to the amount of rain and Ricky looked after us very well :) On our last day we were flying out at 9 pm so asked if we could have a late checkout which was again no problem and when we arrived back to collect our luggage we were told we could have a shower in the Spa to freshen up before travelling. We would highly recommend staying here and its only about 30 minutes from Denpasar so its easy ! Thank you to all the Staff for a great stay.

I cannot speak more highly of Mahagiri Villas, it is a wonderful place. If you like the Sanur area and are looking for a relaxing stay, away from the hustle and bustle but close to great restaurants and shopping then please consider the Mahagiri. The staff are so friendly and helpful. From the Security Guards to the General Management, all staff could not have made our stay more pleasurable. The Villa’s themselves have private pools with secure access to your private suite. The gardens and restaurant area are just delightful and relaxing. I could not believe how quickly I relaxed from my work commitments back home… I didn’t think I could unwind so quickly… and it was all because of this place… it just ticked all the boxes… and the best part was that the staff did anything and everything for you. Nothing was a burden to them. On our first night, we decided to “eat in”, so the staff arranged a private Seafood BBQ at our Villa with nice cold Bintang and Wine… They decorated the pool, lounge and dining room areas. The only thing they didn’t bring was the kitchen sink !!.. The staff were amazing… and the chef was superb. Pro’s and Con’s: • Staff, Facilities, Food, Ambience, Suite, are all wonderful. If you like coffee you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality. • I class the Hyatt and Hilton as 5 star, so the Mahagiri would be rated 4 at best, as they do not meet such high standards. • Wifi is excellent within the Villa’s. From the restaurant to your private villa, I had no problems. • Breakfast – so many choices… all good • Lunch menu & Diner Menu provided enough variety. • Spa treatment is nice but expensive, just outside the villa’s not more than 50 metres to the right is a great massage shop. 1 hour was 70,000 Rupiah. • Warung Dead Fish Restaurant is 100 metres to the left of the villa which is ok for a snack and a beer. • 150 metres to the right is Bali Japur – it’s a little café that serves authentic Balinese food which we ate at many times on our return from shopping or touristy things… • There are 4 laundry shops within a 5 min walk. • We used the Mahagiri’s transport service (at no cost) to local restaurants, shops and the beach (where they have a beach boy and a few reserved lounge chairs on the beach)… catching a taxi back to the hotel (blue bird is the best and cheapest) was not more than 17,0000 rupiah. Or you can phone the Mahagiri and they will come and pick you up... • There are many Money exchange locations close by (the staff will provide transport and security if required). • Restaurants to consider – Three Monkeys, Art Cafe, Coco’s on the Beach (There are many restaurants along the beach next to Coco’s). • Went to the Bird Park, expensive but great for families • Used a private driver from last time I stayed in Sanur, if you need a name/number drop me a line. Overall, the Mahagiri is definitely worthy of your consideration. We will be back there later in the year.

I honestly have never stayed in such an amazing hotel. We had our own private area with a private pool. The word private is a perfect way of describing it. It was secluded from the outside world yet close enough to all the restaurants and beach we still got a feel of the Bali culture. I would highly recommend this place if you are considering it, look no further!
