My husband & I stayed in this SLH for 3 nights over my birthday in a Luxe suite. The room was modern, a good size & had a very comfortable bed. It was a nice quiet & cool room even though it was situated in the main heart of busy Seminyak. It was a short stroll to the shops, restaurants, cafes & the beach. Staff were very attentive & provided a free shuttle bus to nearby ammenities. Breakfast was very good, maybe a choice of coffees would have been nice.
Had four nights in the fantastic boutique hotel. Its located near the W Hotel which should give you a good indication of its great location. The staff will cater for your every need and the rooms are nicely finished. Its not a big deal but just be weary that the roof top bar has some great party's until midnight so if you feel the need to reside early you should be equipped with ear buds or noise cancelling headphones if staying on the upper levels.
Cleaned and Nice rooms. Wonderful breakfast which you could eat in the restaurant or order up to your room. They offer free drive and pick up to the beach or other places nearby. The hotel staff is so friendly and always at your service. The pool is located a 5 min walk away from the hotel and there is no gym at the hotel as pictures at TripAdvisor. You could not open the window, but that did not matter because the air in the room was still very good. We ended up extending our stay for two nights extra as we were so satisfied with the hotel and the service.
Opted to upgrade to the bigger suite room over the standard, well worth it! Staff were amazing and were always willing to help and greeted us with big smiles every time we left or returned... Highly recommend this place!
Grow Bali Restaurant was excellent. The menu choices for ‘included breakfast ‘ was very generous. All Staff extremely friendly and happy to assist with any requests including Transport/Security/Butlers/housekeeping.
From the front, this small hotel already exudes style, with its purple furniture and split-level lobby/bar/restaurant areas. I love the location, which is a good distance from the main Seminyak buzz, yet close to many of the recommendable cafes and restaurants. Still, the traffic here can be horrendous at certain hours, and it's more convenient to walk if you just want to explore the area. The hotel seems to be in the process of rejuvenating itself, with the relatively new restaurant (Grow) and rooftop bar (Grow Up) conceived by Ryan Clift, the Michelin-starred chef of Tippling Club in Singapore. I tried the restaurant - the pasta dish was excellent (the Head Chef is Italian), so was the basil and lemon tart dessert. My Luxe Suite has an open-plan design with a free-standing bathtub next to the bed. There's an interconnecting door to another suite, which can be good if you're traveling in a group, or not that good as it detracts from your privacy (it is not very soundproof). Another minus point is the non-existent iPod dock, although this is listed on the hotel website as one of the suite's features. But these "flaws" were compensated by the super comfy bed with extra large pillows. If this rating were based on sleep quality alone, I would have given 5 stars. Current space limitation means that there's no fitness facility, and the (small) swimming pool is also located a short distance away from the hotel (there's a free shuttle to take you there). One of the staff said that an expansion is on the agenda. I did enjoy my stay this time, but hopefully if I return I can get a more wholesome experience.
Nice and welcoming personality, who were willing to help at all time. A place where the guests and their comfort was the priority number one :) The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent, aria safe for single traveling and everything was in a walking distance.
I was traveling here with my boyfriend for some relaxation time. And that is exactly what we got. The bed was amazingly comfortable, especially since you can order the pillow that suits your needs best from the "pillow menue". The staff made us feel very much at home. We also enjoyed the butler and driver service provided, which was very helpful when we wanted to get back from a beach club. Our second day we spent the day by the hotel pool, that is a short walking distance from the hotel. We had the pool as well as the sun beds all to ourselves for the entire afternoon, which made it even more relaxing. Also, breakfast (which was included for us) was very good, you get a choice of three different meals, to go with that you get a bread basket, coffee or tea and some fruit. The only thing i did not like was the orange juice, that tasted artificial, but that was a problem everywhere we went in Indonesia. We really enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely come back, when we are traveling to Bali again.
Seminyak is a bit of a gong show, although great shops, restaurants, beaches and nightlife... It's also SWARMING with other tourists. L is quiet, chic, modern and importantly a great escape when it's time to relax. I stayed at the end of a two week solo trip around the island and would gladly have spent even more time here. Rooms are great, food is delicious, rooftop drinks at sunset perfect after a day out.
We had a brilliant stay the L hotel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay really pleasant. The hotel is really well situated and close to everything you could need. We also stayed at the sister resort (Shanti Residence) in Nusa Dua which is even nicer!
