Motel is clean and staff friendly. Pool great, play area a child pool tops. Rooms are good size and cool. Best rooms are down stairs. Rooms up stairs are larger but stairs are dangerous and tiring. Food and services are great.
Due to the volcano late Nov-early Dec, our flight had to be canceled, meaning we would arrive late. Ms. Manda Lee, corresponded with us and even offered that our booking would still be good for a few months. We were able to arrive 3 days later. The location of the hotel is quite central and you can walk to shopping areas, including Discovery mall, Kuta Square and also walk about 5-7 mins to the beach. The room was clean and the beds we had (two rooms) were comfortable. The rooms had a fridge with some drinks in them IF you wanted to purchase, kettle with coffee/tea and each day they gave 2 bottles of water. There was a children's pool with slide and playground. Besides this there was a long pool that was probably about 1 m on one end and less than 2 m on the other end. The pools were clean and they provided good pool towels!! It was also good that they are thinking about the environment and not washing sheets daily while you stay unless you ask. The hotel has two floors and most of the rooms were poolside. You can also order food and drink at the poolside. There is a restaurant right at the front on the road-side that offered a good variety of western and asian food. The buffet breakfast was good, with enough choices and better than some other places we have stayed. There is a bowling alley and pool (billards) right now at the end of the hotel/garden area. You can rent shoes and socks for bowling, but can bring your own socks. There was one bowling lane with bumpers so the children enjoyed a couple games of bowling. We found the staff friendly, pleasant and helpful. Sometimes staff won’t speak as much if they are not comfortable (language wise) but several were able to speak English and so would engage people in conversations. Mr. Edy was courteous and helpful in various way, including with our luggage and then driving to the airport.
Did not stay here but had dinner here. We ordered fried rice + morning glory + sweet and sour chicken + 2 alcoholic drinks during their happy hour and the total amounted close to 500,000 rupiah. Food was alright but we found it very pricey for a road side restaurant.
Definately not a four star hotel but for the price it is worth it. It is located in central kuta. Walking distance to the beach. The rooms has a funny smell to them But it is managable. Quite at nights.
Old, poor maintenance. Even TV programs aren't clear. Snail speed WiFi -- that's a big drawback. The only plus point is it has a bigger pool -- it is in good condition, strange to say. Get another hotel if you can.
The rooms are not clean. I asked to change rooms as the one I was given hadn’t been swept and the bedding had been washed but not thoroughly, there were stains on the sheets. The room also stunk of damp. I had to wait almost 2 hours for another room. I also would expect the manager to have apologised and got someone to give me hand with moving my bags - didn’t happen. The second room was a little cleaner but there were still hairs on the bathroom floor which a simple mop would have resolved. The bedding was clean but the bathroom smelt of stale urine. The fruit at breakfast had flies on it as it was uncovered so I went for the cooked to order omelette. It was ok but not much flavour. Here’s a photo of the water cooler which is for guests to fill bottles / glasses from. I think this says everything you need to know about the hygiene standards here. Apparently the lease is up in 2 months so it’s closing down. If true, that is no bad thing!! This hotel is hugely overpriced for what you get. Do not stay here.
The hotel is located on the main street of Kuta near to water park and discovery mall, a big engine on the main gate welcome the tourist, very friendly reception on arrival with perfumed towel to every tourist and we were taken to superior room booked early, the rooms are big and toilets were clean,we go all the toilet amenities with packed refrigerator with juices, soft drinks and beer. The hotel pool was good and big for adults along with child pool. The restaurant serves all kind of food specially live sea fishes,we were offered free massage and bowling game which we enjoyed most, the staff hospitality was excellent and service was prompt, hotel is old and need some more improvement, but wish to stay again !!!
We didnt like the rooms on the second floor. The room was old with a weird window and long heavy curtains it gave a spooky feeling! The buffet breakfast was okay with many indonesian dishes but there was dead flies inside the jam/jelly jars! It made us doubt about other dishes hygiene levels. Cereals and milk was available on order. The front restaurant was open 24 hours.Otherwise the spa and gym looked good. But the bowling were only free if you buy the shoes and socks and one game. It was rainy season when we reached there and there were slippery wet leaves in the stairs which is outside. I might not come again here.
We stayed there for two nights and the place is nice, quite place and good for relax. We can played boling too there after nothing to do. Place in the center near with everything, just bit complain about the breakfast not really too much variation. But for the price is a nice place to stay.
Stayed here for 5 nights with my friends. We were not in the hotel mostly only back at nights but from the services I experienced I think they were great. One morning we were going for rafting at 6 but the breakfast starts only at 6:30am but on requesting they packed a breakfast for us at 6 in the morning. And also I was vegetarian so they sometimes cooked meals specially for me on requesting. And little things like this made my stay comfortable and amazing. And not to forget the location is good restaurants and bars around and it’s just walking from the beach
