Everything is organised to ensure you have a wonderful stay at Komaneka Tanggayuda. First, the service is impaccable. Brilliant! There is always someone ready to help you, genuinely, generously. The staff is highly efficient, discreet, thoughtful. Everywhere. From the restaurants, the lobby, the store, the gallery, the spa... bravo! At the restaurant, for breakfast or dinner, it was seriously good (so we had dinner almost every evening at the hotel). Local cuisine, presented with taste and style. Wide variety of dishes, always very tasty and enjoyable. Our villa was spectacular, from the very large room, the elegant decoration, the massive bed, the stone bath, the wide space available... and our private pool overlooking the river valley. Spectacular, really. The hotel in general is decorated with style and very good taste. Refined, combining elegant and modern architecture with traditional decoration and antiques. A pleasure for the eyes and the antiques hunter in me! At night, the hotel and the access to the villas is lit by little candles and oil lamps: a detail that gives an idea of the level of attention the team puts into everything to make our stay memorable, romantic, full of charm. Special point for the hotel "shop" that offers traditional products, beautiful craft, for everyone and every budget. Special congratulations for the traditional Balinese evening, where we have been able to experience a classic Balinese movie with a traditional Balinese dinner outside under the trees, after an impressive and beautiful traditional dance show orchestrated by the hotel staff. Impressive. A beautiful souvenir. On top of our own private pool, there are also 2 large pools, in different locations on site, with 2 different atmospheres, one more busy, close to the bar, the other one, more spiritual, with a view on the rice fields and the forest, near a charming temple. We sincerely appreciated all the little attentions we received during our stay, with a special thank you to Rudi and Rika.
I went to komaneka for my honeymoon and me and my husband had had a great experience! Staffs are extremly kind and Yeni, one of staff helped us to arrange our day schedule! Room is clean and there are 3 different pool which are quiet, calm with great view! I will comeback if i have chance to comeback Bali again ;)
What a great and peaceful place to stay during my visit to Bali this time with my family. Really enjoy the ambience, the food, the staff also very helpful and this is one of the best hotel I ever stayed in Bali. Two thumbs up.
We had booked a Premier valley pool villa in Komaneka for our two days stay in Ubud, When we were arrived, We received warm welcome towel and tea from our personal concierge name baby, She walkthrough the room and made us very welcome to this hotel. the View of our room 102 and pool is spectacular! The villa room is huge with everything you can think of. It made very romantic, royal Balinese style include flower petals in the bathtub and room, heart shape chocolate cakes, homemade cookies etc. I love breakfast in the room option and great variety to choose from. Every time we call front desk they already know our name. I was regretted we should stay little longer in this hotel. Def recommend this hotel to everyone!
Staff are excellent and could't do enough. Grounds are immaculate and food delicious and breakfast kept me going for the whole day. Afternoon Tea was unique and delightful. Room is spacious and loves the bathroom area. Lots to do but at the same time it was lovely not doing anythings at all
We've just stayed at Komaneka at Tanggayuda for a week and it is without doubt the best place we've ever stayed. In fact I find it hard to imagine anywhere better. From the moment you arrive you are treated as someone special. It truly deserves the dozens of awards it has received for service. We stayed in a Valley Pool Villa, a beautiful room with stunning views. There are great facilities with two infinity pools, a spa where I enjoyed a few lovely massages. The courtesy van facility is convenient and the staff were superbly organized and caring. We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday there and the staff made the day memorable. They genuinely seem interested in their guests. When I booked I chose the half board option for an extra $200 for two for the week. Breakfast was included but this meant we could choose either to have a three course lunch or dinner each day. The restaurant is excellent with great views. They even permitted us to have dinner at Komaneka Bisma one night which had a more extensive menu. Komaneka at Tanggayuda is conveniently located about fifteen minutes from central Ubud, close to the many fantastic restaurants available in Ubud. If you're looking for somewhere quiet, private and very special this is the place. There were quite a few couples having their honeymoon there. I can think of nowhere better.
Stayed here for 7 nights with my 14 month old and husband. Stayed in a premier valley pool villa. The views are amazing and the private pool was just the topping on the cake. I read lots of reviews about the private pool being too cold but to be honest our room was perfect the water temperature was never cold and we used the pool every day 3 times a day. The main pool was also amazing we tired all the hotel pools and all had something magical about them. The resort is very tranquil and clean. The rooms are very high standards and very large. Perfect for family travellers and honeymooners. Never saw or heard our neighbours all very private. The restaurant had amazing views and the best thing about the Hotel apart from the views was the Staff everything was answered with YES off Course. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Management has done a great job with training the Staff they are all lovely and great you by name and provide excellent service. The only negative comment I can make is about the spa. I had a few treatments and each time noticed that the masseuse never washed her hands after massaging the feet – they went straight for the face. This bothered me. And I stopped asking for the face massages after the first time. Location? Ok truly the views are amazing. Didn’t really trek outside the hotel to know what’s around. We done a elephant safari tour organised by the hotel and that was great. We also done a half day tour with the hotel again that was great. Insects- Lots and Lots but you’re in a forest so expected. Food- very good but limited if you stay for more than 5 days. There is no buffet style food it’s all order via menu even breakfast. But all very yummy and very reasonably priced. Room- very clean and room service was very top notch never saw them- they sneak in when you’re out and when you return like magic the room is spotless again. Thank you komaneka at Tanggayuda for making our stay magical.
We came here on the recommendation of our son. We stayed for 4 days. This place embodies the essence of Ubud. A little bit on the outskirts. It takes -25 minuets to get to the center. The resort provides many shuttles a day to the center of town. The operation of the hotel runs like a smooth machine. The staff is well trained versed in English and eager to take care of the guests who occupy-35 large rooms. Food is great. Highly recommended.
Lovely short stay in a valley pool villa. Comfortable clean room, very nice pool and outdoor bath. A mazing staff who couldn't do enough for you. Good food. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.
The hotel is situated about 20 minutes out of central Ubud in a far more peaceful environment than the very over-touristed and amazingly busy traffic jam, shopping and restaurant strip which Ubud has become. It is set into a hillside which overlooks thick jungle and has been beautifully landscaped with delightful trees, colourful flowers and lush greenery. No traffic noise - all you could hear was the birds and crickets chirping in the trees. We stayed in a Premier Valley View Suite and were delighted with the spacious and comfortable room with excellent facilities and linen, a wonderful outdoor bath carved out of a huge stone, the extensive outdoor terrace (including an undercover bed for relaxing, stretching and snoozing and two sun lounges, all with very soft cushions and clean white covers) and the delightful plunge pool, all providing great views over the dense and colourful jungle to distant green paddy fields. The food was extremely good. We enjoyed both very prompt room service and eating in the restaurant following a great ginger mojito cocktail on the observation deck above. The breakfasts were particularly good and generous and the choice of meals for lunch and dinner was very extensive, with both Balinese and western dishes available. Everything we tried was delicious and very well presented and we preferred to eat at the hotel for three nights rather than taking the shuttle provided by the hotel into Ubud and taking pot luck on a restaurant there. The staff were without exception outstanding. They were kind, very friendly, could not do too much for you and constantly greeted us by name. They have been extremely well trained and it is very clear that their sole purpose is to make your stay as pleasant, relaxing and memorable as they possibly can. We particularly enjoyed the perfect service and attention provided by the wonderful and very gentle Yuni, who lead us on a delightful 2 hour walk through the picturesque nearby terraced rice paddies and village, providing an excellent narrative and explanation of local life as we went and also took special care of us back at the hotel. My wife celebrated her birthday during our stay and she was presented with a delicious birthday cake, decorated with her name, staff singing Happy Birthday who took a photo as she blew out the candles and then presented the framed picture to her later in the day and then in the evening the bed was decorated with rose petals wishing her a Happy Birthday! What superlative personal service! All in all, we had a wonderful experience at the Komaneka at Tanggayuda and were very pleased that we chose to stay there rather than in Ubud.
