This place in one word ! A m a z i n g. We had the opportunity to stay in Kayumanis Nusa Dua for two nights, the final chapter of our journey in Bali. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We had stayed in Kayumanis Ubud, Sanur and Jimbaran previously, and just like other locations, it is perfection. This place truly lived up to its reputation as this idyllic, private paradise. There are so many amazing things about this place, so I want to try and address them one by one in this review. First, the location. The villa is located right in the heart of Nusa Dua, meaning that it is only a few minutes drive from the main city center where you can dine, shop, walk on the beach and be treated to the rich culture, AMAZING FOOD and traditions of Bali. The transport services in place to get you from point A to B are great. Now, the food. The food can be summed up in one word- wonderful. Kayumanis Nusa Dua had delectable local and international breakfast and high tea, served from 2.30-5pm. The room service was impeccable. We were enjoying food deliciously and creatively managed out of a luxurious hotel. Some of the breakfast favourites include the Mee Goreng, Kayumanis Toast, the Balinese coffee and tea are a must try. The food is simply irresistible. Its best to adopt an eat today, diet tomorrow plan when at Kayumanis. Now, the villa itself. One word. Wow. The villa was beautiful, massive and clean, offering amazing, unforgettable features such as an outdoor shower and a sizeable pool. The architecture of Villa is astounding. Being a family of 5, there was still so much space for us to move around freely and spend quality family time together. Thankfully, the rooms are all airconditioned, offering refuge from the humidity and heat of Bali. The rooms come fully outfitted with everything you might need, whether it be free Wi-Fi or even the mini bar with a variety of drinks for all to enjoy. As mentioned in previous reviews, this place stays true to its hallmarks of being private and in tune with nature as communicated through the villa’s clearly wood architecture and natural greenery. Amidst all the grandeur and luxuriousness of the villa, the best aspect and memories of this place is the people and I can’t even begin to name them all as they were ALL truly exceptional. The moment you get there and you are greeted with the immense warmth and hospitality of the Balinese. They all greet you with a smile which is such an instinctive feature of their nature. They show a genuine commitment to ensuring that your stay with them is as relaxing and luxurious as possible. The staff were prideful and polite to explain the different cultural aspects whether it be the rituals observed or even the small things like the welcome flower and how the togetherness of our hands to receive it denotes reciprocity in kind. When you arrive at the villa after a long day out, you are greeted with the fervent, wholesome warmth of the greeting "welcome home" from the reception staff. That really tops and sums up the comfort of our overall stay as you are made to feel it’s a home away from our home! If I had to describe KayuManis in one word, it would be truly 'amazing.' Thank you to the lovely people of Kayumanis Nusa Dua for making our family holiday an amazing and wonderful and unforgettable one.

It was our second time in Kayumanis. It's a perfect place for a romantic and relaxing holiday. The staff are lovely, they give you special attention and go out of the way to help you. My husband gave me a surprise with a candlelight dinner at the villa. I was thrilled to see the decorations. The pool was covered with flowers and candles and the table was set by the pool. It was just perfect ambience for a most romantic dinner. We had a beautiful time.

There's not much I can add to the review I wrote of Kayumanis Nusa Dua in April 2017. That we chose to return for another stay, seven months after our first, speaks volumes for the quality of the resort. When we booked, we requested to stay in Villa Akasia, where we were last time. It's a great villa, and the pool area is in full sun for many hours each day. As anticipated, the villa was spotlessly clean. We did have one minor problem with one of the entrance doors, but the engineering crew dealt with it on the same morning we reported the issue. Service. A welcome addition to the villa was the power board with three international plugs and four USB outlets. Brilliant! One measure of staff satisfaction at any business is turnover, and Kayumanis Nusa Dua obviously has very low staff turnover. It was great to see the same friendly faces whom we met on our first stay. The staff are all so gracious and obviously pleased to be of service to their guests. It's probably unfair to name exceptional staff individually, since they're all excellent, but I really must give a special mention to Susi, Ebi, Yuda, and butler Bayu. Thanks guys - you're the very best of the very best. As I said, though, all the staff are fantastic, which reflects the generous spirit of the Balinese people. We were pleased to be greeted with a "Welcome home!" when we first checked-in, and when we returned after an outing. If only home was this good! Breakfast at Tetaring was very good, as expected, and we dined at Piasen on New Years Eve, where the food and the service were excellent. It was a shame that Nusa Dua seemed so quiet, due to Mt Agung threatening to erupt, but if there was a place I had to be marooned because of an erupting volcano, it would be Kayumanis Nusa Dua. It's simply excellent, and we hope to be welcomed "home" again very soon!

We booked three nights In Kayumanis Villas to rest after our international flights. We could not have chosen a place that was more relaxing and tranquil. The resort is small (only 20 villas) compared to the mega resorts along the beach. We enjoyed the convenience of walking to the beach for lunch and dinner and then retreating to our little slice of heaven for the evening. The layout of our villa Sukun was really convenient. It had a separate bedroom with outdoor bath in one building and in an adjacent building a spacious living room. The infinity pool and fountain were-very soothing and perfect for an early morning swim or to cool off in the heat of the afternoon. The villa was impeccably clean and well appointed. The staff could not be more gracious and accommodating. Our flight was a few hours late and we were picked up in the middle of the night by a cheerful Pram who efficiently settled us into our villa. He was sensitive to the fact that we had just traveled for two days but didn’t want to miss any details so we could fully take advantage of the amenities the resort offered. Jeanny was a gem and helped us with our booking. We were supposed to stay at Kayumanis last year but a series of flight delays caused us to miss our stay. She offered us a credit to return this year and we were so glad we did. They generously offered us a late check out so we could savor the last few hours in our villa. We enjoyed their complementary afternoon tea once at the restaurant and the next in the privacy of our villa. Don’t miss an opportunity for a massage or body work at the on-site spa. We were treated royally and our bodies and mind were rejuvenated and refreshed. Our mistake was scheduling it the day we were leaving. After we realized how good we felt we should have done a massage every day. Our stay was too short and we look forward to coming back to this little Slice of heaven next time we are in Bali. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

We stayed at a few different places in Bali and Kayumanis was our home in Nusa Dua. This place is amazing. Service, pool, food, etc. everything is better than what you will find elsewhere in Bali. This is a romantic place and suitable for honeymoon and anniversary type stuff. We were here on our honeymoon, so it was perfect for us. We stayed at two other villas in Kuta and Ubud and nothing compared to Kayumanis. This place seriously made our Honeymoon special. Negatives: Tons of mosquitoes (more than Kuta and Ubud). Kayumanis beach is super tiny. Not a whole lot to do in Nusa Dua (you got to go to Ubud and Kuta for that).

I am not sure where to start but I stayed here for 10 nights for my honeymoon with my husband. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to the moment we were dropped off we were treated like royalty. The staff were amazing so polite and helpful. The food was fantastic and the suite was just incredible. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The privacy was perfect and the out door shower was an incredible experience. The beach was a short walk away but very well kept and clean, but the private pool was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would love to come back someday to celebrate our anniversary. The spa was also a real treat, so peaceful and tranquil. The one and only advice I would give to the hotel would be to provide more storage space; as a long stay customer we had no where to put our clothes as the wardrobe was tiny and there were no drawers. Other than that which did not affect us having a most memorable honeymoon, we fell in love with Kayumanis , Nusa Dua.

Everything was AWSOME and PERFECT!! We tried everything and all of it was just perfect: 2hrs spa, romantic dinner, bbq dinner, coffe & tea time, bicicle ride to the beach, airport transportation, etc. The villa was just amazing (Cengkeh std villa), superior customer service and butler personalized attention makes this trip unique! Just perfect for honeymooners and couples!

We came to Kayumanis to celebrate our 40th anniversary and my husband's birthday. This was our first stay at Kayumanis Nusa Dua and we were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of the villas, the restaurant and the attentive service and hospitality of all the staff at Kayumanis. Nothing was too much, great service with a smile everywhere. We loved the choices for breakfast and the great variety of the afternoon tea, worked our way through all the dishes on the Indonesian menu which were all excellent and thouroughly enjoyed the private candle-lit dinner at the villa (with thanks to the Italian Restaurant Piasan). To top it all off we even got two cakes, one for the anniversary and one for the birthday (which was presented by a whole delegation of the staff singing Happy Birthday) We stayed longer than initally intended because of the Mount Agung eruption and got the chance to experience two different one-bedroom villas, Waru and Gamal, both lovely with beautiful furnishings, nice private pools and very comfortable living rooms. We will definitely visit again and can thoroughly recommend this wonderful place, a truly relaxing home away from home with scrumptious food and wonderful service by lovely people.

we tried it all, in-villa breakfast, night snacks at 3 pm, candle light dinner at the beach club, breakfast at the restaurant and all was simply fantastic. Food was always presented with love to detail, always tasted fresh and exciting and even at the beach club it was delivered in a way that it was still hot. ( it's a bit of a hike to the beach to deliver food hot. Our waiter Anta was very nice and his service polite and professional. thank you for some wonderful days and meals and your magnificent hotel and restaurant.

This morning we had the best breakfast one could ask for. And that's not just the food. The food was great and had all the extra touches we asked for. The service however was fantastic. We were hosted by Yuliati and Anita. It felt like visiting family and having breakfast at their home. This is what makes this place very special and unique from the rest. Thank you will never be enough to express our feelings
