We had decent room... bfast buffet included...and indifferent to some of the other reviews the buffet was poor ...dried up chewy bacon.. toaster took 3 attempts to get toast brown. .. bit of a wait at coffee machine. .. of an evening the Italian restaurant at hotel has nice food buy very pricey considering it is Indonesia. ..price for meal same as Australian Italian restaurants..as i said rooms clean quiet and quite nice but for half the price you can get equivalent room in Thailand and far better bfast buffet. ..what i really want to say hotel is good but holiday location of kuta and bali in general NOT GOOD... just about every restaurant we went too had said expensive menues and the food was very sub standard and they were places like Sheraton hotel and hard rock hotel ..then you get hassled constantly on street by annoying locals. ..taxi drivers. .. tour sellers ect..all day and night..as soon as you leave hotel confines. ..one morning i got up 5pm and took long walk on beach from kuta to "upmarket " seminyak a few kms up.. the beach was filthy with tons of garbage all the way there is no way i would swim in those waters.. its only the second time ive been to bali last time 1991... i usually go to Thailand Vietnam or Philippines which in my opinion are 10 times better and cheaper ...as i said hotel good but holiday location NOT. ..i was shocked how expensive bali was...and the hawkers pains in the butt
Just returned from our third stay at The Kuta Seaview Resort and Spa.Two years since our last visit to Bali, and the staff still remembered us by name. Nestled in the heart of Kuta, once you enter the grounds, you are in a small piece of paradise and tranquility. Cannot emphasise how accommodating the staff are. No request is too hard. Breakfasts have a great selection of both Asian and Western varieties. This year we had paid more to be close to pool, and restaurant, due to my mobility issues. On arrival, this wasn't about to happen. Once I pointed out the issue, we were upgraded to a room not more than 12 metres from both, at no extra cost! Cannot find anything negative to report in this review, and hence will be our hotel of choice whenever we return to Kuta. Have recommended this Resort to family and friends, who are now all of the same opinion. Thank you to the the great Management team, and staff at The Kuta Seaview Resort and Spa.
From the moment you arrive you are made feel like family . The rooms are big and well set out with big comfortable beds. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was great . The whole place is surrounded by green gardens .A massive thank you to Suardana , Agung , Kutut all the girls at the Spa and my main man Darmayasa who made me feel like his brother . Do your self a favour and stay at the Kuta Seaview you will not be disappointed. Thanks for everything we will return.😀
A fantastic service starting from welcome on arrival till checkout. Prompt room service when ever required. Very friendly/homely and polite stuff, a very good experience. Rooms are well organised, decorated nicely specially with a elephant patterned towel. Location is adjacent to sea nice for morning surfing and evening sunset. Swimming pool and service is excellent. Also the Spa I enjoyed their well experienced stuff. Overall a best experience throughout my stay. I will prefer this resort whenever in Bali and prefer to my friends who ever visiting Bali.
Excellent location close to everything, but expect high traffic and noise. Beach-bag, slippers, robes and big umbrellas are provided which is a nice gesture! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was 5 star with both western and asian selection. The cocktails are amazing in the bar and we had a nice dinner in the restaurant, but it was a little bit pricy comparing to other restaurants. Same for the spa, half price next door, and it was great! The beach in front of the hotel doesn't have sun beds only chairs and you have to pay for them since it doesn't belong to the hotel. You can find sun beds as well within walking distance. There was only one outlet in the room to charge phones, ipads, laptop, etc. The towels have seen better days, they were far from white and worn out. That was the biggest flaw though.
Our deluxe cottage was spacious, quiet and private with a very comfortable bed, check in was quick, staff friendly, good central location. Breakfast was just fantastic! Only criticism would be the towels were rather old.
The time I had at this hotel has truly made my trip to Bali a memorable one. Check in was smooth and the staff were welcoming. I got a welcome drink whilst they did the paper work. The hotel itself is on a main road facing the beach but without people pestering or bothering you to buy things (except taxis but this is unavoidable everywhere in Kuta). There is a security entrance which made me feel safe. The room was beautiful!! The aircon and wifi were fantastic which really helped make my stay comfortable. I particularly loved the bathroom and the bath! Side note: twin beds aren't actually separate twin beds but two separate mattresses made up as a double. The pool was stunning and backs onto the restaurant on the high street. There would be enough sun beds for the hotel guests but people who dine in the restaurant are welcome to use the pool so sometimes there weren't enough sun beds for the hotel guests. I think that was possibly my only negative thing to say about the hotel. The staff were great about stopping the kids from becoming too loud and splashing too much which was appreciated. There is definitely a relaxing vibe about the place and they play soothing background music by the pool. The biggest plus is he breakfast which is a buffet of many foods. The egg station is great as you get freshly cooked eggs how you like them. I'm a bit annoyed that this breakfast isn't automatically in the room price as we paid a lot to stay but it's worth paying for it as you can eat your fill. I would definitely stay here again, I only wish I booked more nights (unfortunately it was fully booked when we asked to extend) Also a special shout out to the guy who gives us towels by the pool. He was always so friendly and welcoming.
Last year we stayed at here. The location was so handy to the beach and shopping, eating etc. The room , service and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved their pool and also the food. I also used the spa facility and had a pleasant and refreshing visit. It's on my list of returns.
We recently stayed here with our 2 children and grandparents for 5 nights. It's conveniently located near Poppies 1 where we had a great selection of restaurants to dine in the evening. The rooms were kept very clean and the staff were very polite and accommodating. I had to arrange for my mum to be moved to a different room due to a pre existing back injury and they were very obliging and helpful in arranging this. Whilst the pool is small-ish, compared to other family style hotels, it never seemed to be over crowded and the kids could play and splash as they pleased. There was a good selection of sun lounges, both in the shade and in the sun, and there were plenty available. The hotel grounds and gardens were green and lush and you could easily forget you were in the middle of Kuta. We will definitely visit again.
Came to Bali for 4 days after spending 4 days in Thailand. The Kuta Seaview welcomed us and checked us in quickly with a yummy cold drink. The grounds are lush and a quiet oasis from all the Kuta Beach street business. Beach is literally 30 seconds away, right across the street. Our room was lovely and well appointed, with a pretty balcony that had a large sofa and a rack for drying wet suits and clothing. All the little touches like robes, slippers, umbrellas, beach hats and bag, slippers, toiletries, coffee/tea etc. were there. It was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly. Every single person we saw greeted us warmly, day and night. The spa staff were friendly and my sister enjoyed a lovely "after sun" treatment. The breakfast was plentiful with a great variety and had different dishes every day. (Rice, noodles, potato dishes, bacon, sausages, tomatoes/veggies) Also had a selection of at least 8-10 different cakes, pastries, puddings, muffins, breads daily. Delicious omelet bar, cereal, fruits, 2 different juices, milk, coffee/tea. We were full every morning!!!! Overall I would definitely recommend. As 2 sisters traveling alone from the states, we felt very safe and welcomed. We walked the streets all hours of day and night, shopping, having dinner, drinks, etc. in the Kuta and Legian area. Would stay here again without hesitation.
