Ibis Styles Bali Benoa

The hotel is situated outside the noisy and touristic areas of South Bali, hence reachable only by taxi. The path to the beach is dirty and scary. No public transport of any kind. They have an agreement with the taxi drivers and the price to the airport is fixed - 175000. If you ask the reception to call Grab or Uber, they simply do not do it. The furniture in the lobby is shabby and dirty, which is possibly typical for that part of the world. The breakfast is good and rich.

Would never advice anyone to stay here, no glasses in room for water, mould everywhere a health hazard, shower dirty, breakfast was more for asian guest, egg staion boy was more interested in looking around than watching what he was doingand not just one day but for everyday we were there. Never again will we stay here.

I'm a New Zealand short story writer, novelist and well travelled. Ibis is well located. Across the road next to the Holiday Inn an alleyway leads to the beach. Down both sides of the road, there are restaurants, massage salons, convenience stores, dry cleaners and money changers, plus less than 1km up the road to the right (coming out the hotel) there is a market on the left. Across from the hotel, at the Joy Spa, you can get haircuts for $5 NZ and one-hour oil massages for $7.50NZ (excellent job and probably the cheapest in the area). Hotel Facilities: Large swimming pool, generous buffet breakfast, bar and small gymnasium, The rooms are definitely up to 4 star standards and clean and tidy with TV, bathroom, a writing desk, air conditioning, jug, complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea. Tuesday and Friday $15NZ barbeque buffet dinners. Staff: friendly and most helpful. Most speak good English. Shopping: Free minibus from the hotel on the hour (return) to Hardy's Market 10 minutes away (cheapest shopping after the street markets). Free bus (every hour/return) across the road outside the Holiday Inn to Bali Collection (dearer but much wider selection). You can also walk to a different beach from Bali Collection (5 minute walk). If you need an electric adaptor then turn left going out of the hotel. There is an electric shop several hundred metres down on your right. Money Changers: Better rates here than the airport or your own countries. Just be careful to go to an authorised one and one that is more like a small bank. I went to the first K convenience store down the road to the right. Always check you get the correct amount. I had no trouble. Restaurants: food costs vary. The cheapest down the road was about $3.50 NZ (ie. 35,000 in local currency). The dearest was about $9 NZ (ie 90,000 local currency).

All the Stuff is very friendly and more like Family. All are very lucky seeing you come to the Breakfast with a Smile on your face... Everybody recognises you and is happy when you are.... Never have seen such a Family like Hotel-Stay but will never miss it and will definatly come back to spend more time in this nice Hotel!!!

Having just returned from Ibis Styles Bali Benoa with pneumonia, courtesy of a faulty air-conditioner, I'm not exactly in the best of moods. Mercifully, the pain from the plethora of insect bites I acquired in my room is taking my mind off it. It's a shame because the staff are wonderfully polite and always try their best to help you. Unfortunately, they're fighting a losing battle. The place is a health hazard as my week long stay in hospital with testify. If you like dangerous aircon and beds full of insects, by all means book in; if not I beg you to look elsewhere.

The hotel have great location, near convenient shop, supermarket and spa. Hotel breakfast is simple. The room is old, but spacious, clean(room have ant, my donuts become their food). All in all, cheap hotel but comfortable.

The building was kinda old. The bed wasn't really lovely. I got hives all over my body after one night I slept on it, I think they didn't change the sheets and clean the bed really well. Cheap furnitures. The breakfast was okay. Anyway, I asked the receptionist about the nearest bike rental and they referred to a small warung right behind the hotel. The owners couldn't speak English well and their bikes were mostly rusted and dusty. Their price was 60-70k IDR for a day rent, but we had to pay another 20k IDR because the tank was full and they gave my boyfriend the bill. We rented for a day and meant to gave it back the next morning. And the next day we checked the parking lot, the bike was gone. We talked to the receptionist about this and they said a guy came to the hotel to get his bike back, they allowed it because he showed the bill with the name and the room number but those weren't our name and our room. Even when we rented it, the owner didn't say anything and we didn't tell them anything about ourselves. So fishy. Better be careful! They could charge you a lot for "missing the bike".

I have to say there are so many better cheaper places around the area, and this hotel is so rude, impolite. I advise you the Wangsa who is less in price and polite. This hotel does not care to give you good service or comfort. They have arrogance which in Bali is not a normal way of treating guest. Insane!... I have been to Bali 7 times and tried this one and had my worst nightmare. I really do not advise anyone to go there.....money vaue not worth it and you wont have any good experience there. I am still so sad about my choice but share to help others to not experience the same as me.

Very pleasant hotel, this hotel deserve more star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️service is very good, great swimming pool, delicious food at the restaurant, good coffee, good breakfast, fast wifi, nice room. The bathroom is a little bit old but they will renovate it asap, i highly recommend this place for anyone who want to go holiday on budget and comfort.

This was myself and my boyfriend's favourite hotel whilst staying in Bali. The traditional breakfast was fantastic, there was live music in the evening, a great pool and professional staff. The rooms were comfortable and welcoming and had everything that one could need. The only criticism is that our view from our room was not great. I'd definitely stay there again.
