It's not all bad. Fairly well located and close to a lot of stuff in legian. For the price per night there is air con (ensure you go for this, I didn't initially but very quickly swapped my room), a small flat screen tv with one uk channel on, and a free bottle of water. The mattress here was absolutely awful, the bed was broken and really should have been replaced. Shower is a bit rubbish and also no place to put your toiletries at all in the bathroom. The hotel is quite tired and feels very old, corridors leading to the rooms are very dark and dingy, the bathrooms are not the cleanest, the bedding was okay however the comforter on top of the mattress was a bit grim. The swimming Pool doesn't look anything like the photographs so don't believe the marketing images, it was very dated. If you want a cheapo bolt hole then this hotel does have all the basic amenities for the price, but don't expect any frills. I won't be returning, only because there are way better places at not much more. Some staff were really lovely and some were a bit grumpy, can't win them all lol The view from my room was of a garden and that was the nicest bit of the whole place. Has good potential if they spent a bit of cash doing it up...
My husband and i stayed here for 10 days in a deluxe room. The deluxe room came with a continental breakfast if you did not want that they took the price off what you ordered off menu. We loved our room for a budget accommodation you could not complain. Only drama we had was a couple of days in aircon was not getting cold but as soon as i reported it to the office it was fixed straight away. Close to everything. For what we paid we were very happy.
this is our second stay here' we like the hotel and area, and the pool was nice for us' our only real complaint is that upstairs does not have much water pressure for the shower...lucky we had a bath tub, meet nice people there from all over..price is real good' food is ok and priced ok, would stay again...
This hotel cheap n easy to acess many places. But the best way is to rent a motorcycle, this will help you to move are the city and some of interesting places. rental only 60, 000 idr. asked at the lobby for rental. Google Maps update, even recently the roads are redirect become one way. Have nice holiday.
We booked and paid through Agoda after visiting and seeing the rooms. The ones they showed us where the new rooms but when we arrived they gave us a room in the old section. Room still good but show is for people under 3 ft . Also bath is high ans stepping out I slipped and bruised myself on the toilet . We asked for a room in new section but none available. Our mistake didn't think about asking for a room in new section as we where never shown the old section so didn't know there was a difference .
Really friendly place to stay with an excellent location it's cheap and cheerful and has a great swimming pool a cool place to go and met other travellers to chat to round the pool . Breakfast is basic but who cares with the great prices
First, got a room which has air-cond failure, the room was too hot till we cannot stay inside. Asked the technician come for repair it but it doesn't work. Got to change to another room with functionable air-cond in the midnight 0030. Not so clean as it should be.
for the last time; CLEAN YOUR DIRTY POOL...grime on pool tiles is not a good look... how hard can it be.. as there is always people standing around doing nothing....air conditioner is so so too but happy to stay again considering the price.
We checked in for 1 night after a long day on the road, and seriously regretted not looking any further. The room was dark and hot, the air-conditioning unit was the loudest one on the planet, and did not cool the room much. The toilets stunk, and the bathroom generally has seen better days. The door to the corridor had big cracks, so you could hear everything going on in the corridor and on the street, if it was loud enough to compete with the air-con. We could not wait to leave, and were glad to put the memories of the hotel behind us.
My partner and I unfortunately booked 4 nights here and regretted it the moment we met the reception. Before I start this was the WORST place we stayed during our backpacking trip and we have stayed in some rubbish places. To start the receptionists are unhelpful and moody, and there seems to be a load of random men just hanging around the seating area in the reception. We were shown to our room which was room '109' on the ground floor, and it was awful. It stank of urine, it was hot and there was windows that could not be shut, so mosquitos and lizards just made themselves at home. After 5 minutes I went to reception and said we cannot stay in here so they moved us up a floor to another room. This room again stank, it had 2 single beds rather than a double and the shower was green with fungus and dribbled water that as well stank. We stayed here the first night and as soon as I woke I went to complain. The women I complained to began showing me and my partner another room, it was as if she wanted to waste our time she slowly walked to another room and when we went in the sink was broken, so off to another and it absolutely stank of urine, we even said to her it stinks and she just laughed and agreed. We go back to the reception desk and she gets another girl to show us rooms as she couldn't be bothered, the girl took us straight to a room on the third floor and we accepted. It didn't smell, it had a working shower, it had a good big balcony and it was relatively clean. Even this room (the best out of 5) was extremely dark and was hotter than any room we've ever stayed in, it was so difficult to sleep or even just sit in the room, we resorted to the balcony. That isn't everything. The pool was green, and not from the colour of the tiles it was just filthy. All around the pool was dirty with mud and there was brushes, buckets and random equipment left our all over the place. The wifi didn't work in every single room except the final one we was given, and even then it kicked you out every time you locked you're phone so you had to reconnect and re login. The place is just a run down shi* tip. It's not as if it's mega cheap either, we've stayed in $2 a night places that are cleaner, friendlier, have AC and more. This hotel needs new management and it needs to be closed down so it can be refurbished, or just closed down forever. Don't book here, book somewhere else in a similar location, it is terrible.
