This is an OK hotel - it was probably, in its heyday, very nice but seems as though it’s been stuck in time. Everything seems a bit dated. It could be a lot nicer with some TLC in the corridors/pool area etc. Pros: - warm welcome from staff, always got a friendly hello etc when walking in/out but I never had to ask them anything, so can’t comment further than that. - big room, very spacious. - room seemed very clean and was cleaned every day. - bed was comfy Cons: - as above, everything just seems a bit dated. Pool area didn’t seem particularly nice, I preferred to get to the beach either Jimbaran beach itself or taxi to Nusa Dua beach. - cold shower. Hot water didn’t work. It got to a temperature which was bearable but that’s it. - air con wasn’t the best. Room wasn’t warm but didn’t get particularly cool either. Tips: - McDonald’s, KFC etc very close. This was particularly handy on our first night as we arrived in the evening. Not much else in terms of restaurants in walking distance, taxis or renting a scooter will be necessary. - the pancake place over the road did nice pancakes and coffee for breakfast. The restaurant attached to the hotel struck me as odd, it was always completely empty during my stay, which I never take as a good sign.. - you can walk to the beach but it takes about 25 min. Or download the Bluebird app and hail a taxi, 30k is their minimum fare and the meter doesn’t come up to this. Overall it’s an OK hotel. Basics such as cleanliness, space and a comfy bed were good. Wifi worked OK for us but I can see it has mixed reviews. However if you’re looking for a place with the extra touches to relax near a nice pool and bar for a few days go elsewhere. This hotel is only good if you’re using it as a base to sleep - and spending most of each day and evening out and about.
just have a breakfast this morning, they just prepare 3 kind of menu package and i couldnt ask for more food.... not enough for myself. just wondering if the management could offer more for the guest.... thanks
You will definitely can't find any helpful staff here. I have 3 luggage, and there is no concierge to help. We have to carry our own luggage to the lobby. After i entered the lobby, there were 2 staff sitting behind the reception counter. They were keep sitting and no greeting at all. There room is ok. Big space. The hot water doesn't work. Called the reception, no one pick up the phone. I went down to reception, also no one. There's a note at the reception desk, its break time. Never ever experience a reception break. I try to ask the restaurant staff to help, she also confuse, no reception. She tried to find the engineering, also no engineering in charge. Wondering what will happen next
Good hotel. Everything was clean and tidy. Rooms are leaned evryday. The breakfast was included but I never had it. Anytime the staff at the restaurant can prepare the food for you, which is not expensive at all. Every evening I had long island coctails that had plenty of strong ingridients. The only disadvantage is that there is nothing around and you have to takea taxi no matter where you go. The cost of the taxi to Kuta approx. 6-8 dollars one way, so I went there every evening. The nearest public beach with white sand Geger is 10 min. deive by taxi and costs around 6 dollars obe way. If you want to save even more thaen rent a scooter for 3 dollars a day. There is a small swimming pool that I never used but it looked ok. The hotel has spa that I did not use either. All in all this is a good place that provides exeptional value for money only 45-50 dollars plus travell expences. The same hotels in respectfull areas are going to cost at leas five time more. By the way area is very quaet and safe. Mc Donalds is about 250 miters (yards) away. The staff is exeptionally friendly and helpfull. I'll give it four stars! P.S. By the way if you pick up girls from Kuta you can bring as much as you wan of themt at night, you won't pay a penny and staff is not going to say anything!
Horrible place. Toilets near reception padlocked. Pool area very scruffy. Wouldn't give 2 room keys WiFi didn't work Corridors dirty. Room service food left out in hallway. Worst view in Bali. Don't stay here.
Actually the room was nice, big room with bathtub, the furniture and facilities in the room was great. But, the pool was dirty i with my partner would like to use the pool at 12 noon but the pool seems dirty and the fitness equipment not working at all. The security staff was no helpful at all, even when we arrived at the hotel and very confuse to get the parking area, they never had any initiative to assist us. This hotel is nice, but need some improve
I have informed to early check-in around 8-9 AM, and the hotel said yes. I booked only for one night, and on my arrival day I got upgrade to Deluxe Suite Room because the Superior Room was still fully booked. The Deluxe Suite Room was really great. It has living room (well, actually I didn't need that), 2 TV (in Living room & bedroom). Bathroom was nice with bath up & shower separated, but sometimes smelly. Staff was helpful. Swimming Pool was also nice, but the Breakfast didn't have many variants.
The rooms are huge and have a fridge, kettle with tea and coffee and a safe. The bathroom has a bath tub and is also pretty big. The overall experience was very good since we got a pretty cheap offer. The pool area is nice to relax in the afternoon and it is always very quite there. The hotel is located in the centre of Jimbaran but quite far from the beach. With a scooter it is about 5-10 minutes to Jimbaran beach.
My room keys wouldn't work the 2nd day of my stay on business and the hotel staff couldn't arrange to get this fixed. Everytime, I had to go out, I had to ask the front desk staff for the master key, go and open my room and then come down to return the key. The most impolite, uncaring, unprofessional and insensitive staff I would've ever seen in any hotel chain - I am not coming back to stay at this hotel for sure. And would reconsider ever staying at a Holiday Inn! The weirdest thing is that they never offered me any other options to consider - a different room/move to sister property/making 1 night free
Kamar yg luas, dngn interior yg wow tentu nya... pelayanan yg ramah.. So i love it SpA therapis yg sangat ramah.. Restaurant xinlong yg makanannya nyamii bngt... And i'll come back for stay and greet holiday in bali...
