My wife and I recently stayed here for 14 days. We have stayed at many hotels in Kuta and Nusa Dua and value for money this is the best. It is opposite the beach, there is a shopping mall next door and a few very cheap cafes within 10 minutes walk nearby. The room was upstairs and one of the few hotels with no bath but a shower! We had a balcony overlooking the garden and the grounds were neat and tidy. Our aircon did malfunction but was fixed immediately. The cleaning, restaurant and general staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was buffet style and variety was good. Our waitress Jayanti was always there to assist. There was a band most nights but this was at the front and we never heard noise in our room. It was sometimes pleasant to lay on the pool lounges and listen to the music before we retired to our room. Overall a great hotel for a vacation
I had a 4 day stay here and for $65 a night i was impressed how clean and tidy it was. The pool area and bar are good, the band was a bit average. Right on the beach and easy get about. The staff were friendly and helpful.
This Bar had great food & very good staff. I would like to say that Mini was a fantastic young lady who represented this Bar with high integrity, fantastic service, she was so helpful with me trying to understand the language & information of where to visit. Because of her superior service friendliness & helpful nature she is the reason I ate & drank there so much. If I owned a Restaurant & Bar in Australia I would employ her The other young lady Arin was also a great asset to your business.
During check-in the front desk as not friendly at all. After paying for our 4 night stay, they required us to pay an incidental deposit as well. Once in the room, we found it to be very stuffy and a musty smell lingered around no windows nor a balcony as was advertised on booking.com (superior room A). Upon complaining the receptionist required us to pay an additional 1.6IDR just for an upgrade. Being a city hotel seems like customer satisfaction is not that important to the hotel. Yes the place is a convenient site in kuta. But the room conditions and the customer service is at its lowest being a 4 star hotel in the city.
This was the first time we have been to the Hotel and we would go back and stay again.All the staff were very helpful and we met one very helpful staff member and her name was Arhag Krisna and she couldn't do more for you and her service was excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Istana Rama Hotel in Bali! The hotel was beautiful and clean and the pool was huge and amazing. Staff helped plan many adventures for us and we were very impressed with their interpersonal skills. On our first night, in Bali, we met Arin, working at the restaurant, in the hotel. Arin greeted us warmly and sincerely and welcomed us to the Grand Istana Rama Hotel (and to Bali!). We returned to the restaurant many times during our stay because of Arin. She should be recognized for her kindness, professionalism, positivity, friendliness, engaging conversation, and bright smile. Her customer service exceeded our expectations and we have referred many friends to the Grand Istana Rama Hotel. Our trip was very memorable and we would love to return again soon!
Front desk is not friendly enough. Room service is really good, helpful. Location is very very convenient and walking distance to city area, night life, walking distance to Sky Garden, Beach is just front of the hotel. Lot of restaurants around the hotel. Awesome breakfast.
i have stayed at the Grand Istana Rama many times now and every time i leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. the hotel is located on Kuta drive with the rooms to the back of the hotel ensuring that the noise of the street does not disturb the guests. the staff are always friendly and helpful. we dinned on the restaurant many times many due to the great staff and meals. Staff member Arin was a welcome face when arriving back each day with a hello and cold drink. the service that Arin provided was above my expectations. Julie C
I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times.The hotel is in a great location also being right next to the beach walk mall.The staff are very friendly . while dining at the restaurant i had great service especially from staff member named Arin .Arin made me feel very welcome and the service Arin gave was really excellent. We went to the restaurant at the Grand Istana Rama and the waitress that looked after us was so polite and well spoken she made sure our food and drinks were on time and correct. Her manners and friendly and warm smile made us feel very welcome. I will be back again thank you Arin what a great waitress you are. Hope to see you again soon.
