Reception staff were very kind and helpful upon arrival. Allocated rooms however were not up to a good standard, they were looking in need of updating, certainly not as you see from their website! Pool area very tired, grubby, the sun umbrellas moldy and sun bed mattresses cracked. Pool bar dirty. Rusty gates leading out to the beach. There is a small road/track between the hotel and beach, numerous motorbikes and local cars constantly travelling past. Lots of dogs running around the beach immediately in front of the hotel. The Duty Manager was obtrusive as was his General Manager (who hung up on me) We did not even unpack our cases
The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive at all times. We were upgraded (at no extra cost) to a Garden Suite room, which is spacious, luxurious and clean. The breakfast offers a variety (and beautifully presented) array of delicious food, which is enough to sustain one throughout the day. The evening meals (served outside around the pool area) offered either a la carte or grill / bbq meals. On each evening we were entertained by different musicians and / or dancers. The pool area and bar are well maintained and service is provided throughout the day. The garden setting with its fountains and koi ponds create a tranquil atmosphere. The hotel is ideally situated for walks on the beach (which is disappointingly littered) or short excursions to the shops (of which, thankfully, there are few!). The hotel is also conveniently located for excursions to other parts of the island.
The hotel is right on the beach (which is not that clean), but the ocean views are fab. Staff are really good, very nice sized rooms and good food. The wifi was dodgy. It's close to very good restaurants and bars and the hotel offers free shuttle service at set times which is very convenient. Really good spa on site too. All in all - really good value for money
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it won't be the last. Staff are delightful and friendly, food is good and location is excellent! The rooms are nice sized and have everything you need! The perfect place to relax and unwind ! The sunsets are amazing!!
Nice staff, clean and quite place, nice view.Yummy breakfast, big room, the wifi 😞.The beach 😞 not so clean..... Is close to many pubs, but 707 -bar the best place to see the sunset-good dj & music......🍻
This was our 4th stay at Balisani over the past 5 years, because it's such a relaxed and friendly place to stay and good value for a beachfront hotel. We stay in the Garden View rooms. Breakfast in the restaurant is good and has a wide variety of choices from fresh fruit, toast and cereal, hot buffet selection and freshly cooked pancakes or eggs. Staff are friendly and helpful and many have been with the hotel since our first visit. The sunset bar on the beach in front of the hotel is a fun place to watch the sun go down and there's some good restaurants and warungs a short walk away. It's good that the footpaths in the area have been upgraded in the past year or so. The hotel has a regular shuttle bus to drop guests at Seminyak, Legian or Kuta and a taxi back costs 50-80K. It took us a bit over an hour to walk along the beach to Legian. Wi-fi wasn't accessible in our room, but was good in the common areas.
For the location and quality of rooms this hotel is a great value. This was our second time around staying here and it was not disappointing. The wifi is a bit slow and sometimes not working in the room. However, the service is great and the rooms are spacious. They have good food options as well along with a nice spa. Would stay here again.
I stayed at th Balisani Suites for a friends 50th that was held at another site. the location was perfrct staying here right on the beach with exceptionally friendly staff and facilities were fine the only down side i could say was that the internet was very slow in your room but outside was fine. There is a great little beach bar on the beach out front called the 707 bar its perfect for sunset drinks but get there early to get the best spots as it is very popular. Breakfast was value for money looking out watching the waves is pretty sweet and there is definetly worse ways to start the day. The exterior of the hotel looks a little tired but i think it added to the atmosphere of the balinese tradition style, the rooms intereiors were large comfortable, clean and spacious, no complaints at all about the rooms. I'd stay again without hesitation.
I stayed here for eight days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's about a 10 minute walk along the beach to the heart of Seminyak and the hotel run a shuttle about 4 times a day and will drop at selected destinations as far as Kuta. My deal included breakfast which was a hot buffet with eggs cooked to order and the open air restaurant overlooks the beach and pool. I enjoyed every meal I had here and had one of the best steaks ever at the BBQ by the pool. There was a balinese dance performance one night and live music on a couple of other nights. The pool area was lovely and the pool deep enough to be quite cool. I had several massages in the hotel spa and they were amazing and all of $12 for an hour. I travelled by myself and the staff were so friendly that I never really felt too alone. Yes the hotel is a bit tired in areas but the rooms are large and clean, a little stark in decor perhaps but then I wasn't there to spend much time in my room. The grounds are beautiful and the building is traditional balinese which I love so much more that the modern structures popping up everywhere. I also found the air-conditioning fine in my room. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is over 25 years old and does need some work on it. The rooms are large and clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the gardens well kept. It is situated at the top end of Seminyak and required a taxi to go anywhere. The beach is black sand with a road between the hotel and beach. The pool is old and for the most part the same depth all over, I had trouble standing up. Wifi was hit and miss, mostly miss.
