For our last nights in Bali we stayed here. It is a very nice place with great private villas and private pools. We had a nice dinner there our first night but at many more times what it would have cost outside the resort. The breakfast was underwhelming, although we did have it sent to our villa so perhaps had we gone up we could have gotten our food hot and the way we liked it. Its in a secluded area so if you want to go out to see the nightlife its best to take a taxi etc. But if your looking for an all inclusive nice time with money to spend this is a good spot.
These are the only words I can use to best describe my recent wonderful holiday at Gending Kedis Villas. I stayed in a fabulous 3 bedroomed villa with every luxury you can imagine from your own lap (infinity) pool to keep you fit, to the wonderful private dining room and fully fitted kitchen with butler service. At night the pool and dining room come alive with fabulous interior design lighting, truly magical. The minute I arrived I knew I had made the right choice. The staff were excellent from the cheerful smiles at reception to their constant efforts to make sure your stay is truly stress free. This is aided by every state of the art convenience at your fingertips from the Malkoha Spa where Balinese, Swedish and Shirodhara massage are available to the incredibly well equipped gym for a fabulous workout. If this is not enough the spa also has the famous Rudy Hadisuwarno salon where top hairdressers will tend to your every need accompanied with relaxing head and shoulder massage a must. The Alcedo restaurant looks out over a fabulous lagoon swimming pool and gives a dining experience of the highest standard with silver service and exquisite food to suit all tastes at the highest level. My personal favourite was breakfast with fresh baked croissants, fresh fruit and eggs Benedict with the smoothest of Balinese coffee, sublime. Would I go back just try and stop me. Great villa experience. Really nice gardens and grounds. The staff are fantastic. Always greeting you when you arrive back from your day touring around. Happy to organise taxis and tours. One of the best massages we received whilst on our honeymoon. Really great spa with reasonable prices. Our villa was Prinia 2, right down the bottom of the resort. Great villa with nice views out into the gully. Had the upstairs and downstairs villa, but didn't really use the upstairs section all that much. The shuttle service to and from town was also a great bonus and really easy to arrange. Was pretty much always available for use when we wanted to use it. Last but not least, the free breakfast was amazing (especially the local breakfast). Keep up the great service. Couple of things worth considering: - Bath in the villa wasn't very easy to use. - Would be good if we could rent a scooter directly from the resort rather than having to pick up and return from town.
We had an amazing time in here, nice house and good service! There are hotel shuttles to the beach , just 5 minutes. The towels are not new, need to change. Have a pick up service from airport, it's convenient!
My husband and I stayed here for 4 days. We didn't ask for any airport transfer so can't comment on that. Check in was pretty smooth. After check in since our room wasn't ready yet, we got a complimentary neck/shoulder massage and it was really amazing! Our room was the 1 bedroom pool villa and it was really really private and we had to go up/down a lot of stairs. If you're someone with problematic knees please ask for a room nearer to reception. The villa itself is gigantic - private compound, upstairs living/dining area, downstairs is the pool/bathroom and bedroom. Everything is really really spacious. We loved the private pool! And wi-fi in the room wasn't too shabby. Honestly it was very difficult for us to leave our villa to go anywhere. The food at the restaurant was not bad, and if you want to you can get your breakfast served to you in the villa. It's not a buffet style breakfast FYI, you have to pick it from the set meals. We tried the massage at the spa too (we got full body massages) and it was not bad, but I felt like the complimentary welcome massage was better. Also spa needs to get some new songs in their playlist coz the same song was looping for the full 60 mins I thought I was gonna go crazy. The resort does provide a shuttle to a few attractions around Bali, but we didn't try it. (we uber-ed everywhere). Only thing is Jimbaran is a bit of a distance from places like Uluwatu Temple, Waterbom etc so expect longer travelling times. tldr; quite a distance from everything but the room is worth it and they've got friendly staff.
Me and my wife spent our first 3 days in nouri villa, extremely comfy and private with a pool (greenery view) monkeys on the trees around us A must try experience in the quite city Jimbaran The location is really nice, near all the spots you want to visit in Jimbaran
Our first visit to Bali was in 2009 when we stayed at the excellent Gending Kedis resort villas complex which at that time had not long been opened. A return visit in May 2017 enabled us to experience the superlative club facilities completed in the interim period. This includes a large swimming pool , restaurant , bar ,conference room, gymnasium, massage/ therapy centre and hairdressing facility all of which more than caters for discerning guests. On this occasion our stay was punctuated by a visit to Malaysia for a week with the result that we experienced being accommodated in two different villas-each of different size and character but constant in quality and decor. The service and attention to detail has been outstanding with staff extremely friendly friendly and caring. Management take great pride in ensuring high standards are maintained all the while and offer butler services and transportation for guests. Gending Kedis at Jimbaran is a marvellous place to stay in Bali. We would recommend it wholeheartedly to visitors as it is intimate, comfortable and relaxing. Gordon G. Wallace. Great villa for family retreat... I came here with my family of 2 elderly (my parents) 8 adults and 2 children (2 & 4 yo). The villas are great with both private pool and the staffs are very friendly and ready to accommodate our every needs..
Upon arrival first impressions always count and I got the wow factor. The checkin staff were fast and absolutely amazing. Our villa was Prinia 2....105 steps to climb everytime you want to exit which for us was twice a day. If you can handle the climb you will be treated to the most amazing villa at the very edge of pure nature at its best. The villa was 2 storey with kitchen plus 9 litre drink water station, dining, huge lounge with very comfy lounges, fantastic air con, a view to nature, a big choice of tv channels plus foxtel. Only letdown was the fox sports channel for AFL was fuzzy. Upstairs toilet shower and spare bedroom. Downstairs takes you to your air-conditioned bedroom with queen size bed and a plush latex mattress which was heaven. Nice bathroom, great shower and toilet. I loved the old rustic feel of the villa that boasted with natural character. To me was a home away from home. The infinity pool was just the best. So clean with a nice temp. Breakfast was hit and miss unfortunately. Food that's meant to be hot was cold which was the sausage and hash brown. Second day pastries were stale. Dishes like eggs benedict were missing spinach and hollandaise sauce. Third breakfast was the best. Hot and fresh. Lattes were exceptional. This villa would have got 5 stars from me had the breakfast not been hit and miss. The massage parlour was beautiful with a reflexology and pedicure. Expensive but worth it. Overall service was friendly and professional. I would definitely stay again.
I stayed in a two-bedroom villa, one of many architecturally well-designed villas built on a slope. The villa has a well-equipped kitchen, dining room and living room. Both bedrooms were ensuite. There were minor issues but these would not deter me from coming back. The grounds are landscaped well. The minus points: my room had no mirror and the hair dryer could only be plugged in the bedroom. There was no instruction how to operate the safes. Generally the room was dark with the wooden wardrobes and poor lighting. The plus points: the staff were friendly and courteous. Reasonably good breakfasts were provided. For a small fee, hotel cars were at our disposal.
