Beautiful Villa and the most lovely staff. I came with my mum and sister and we loved it so much. There were so many options for breakfast and it was very delicious. The rooms were so nice and so was the pool and the beautiful gardens :) Everything was fantastic 10/10.
I stayed with a friend for a week at this hotel. The service was amazing and room was brilliant. Thw only downside is that there is no tv in the bedrooms and breakfast is a little limited. But this in no ways changes my review from excellent. Everything else i could not fault. Keep up the great work and I would definitely come back to stay!
We recently stayed in a 1 bedroom private pool villa, after a recommendation from a friend. Could not speak more highly of Desamuda. From the moment we were met at the airport the staff were welcoming & went out of their way to assist. As well as airport transfers, drop off to Kuta, Legian, Seminyak area was included. It was our first time in Bali, when we wanted to go somewhere for dinner, drinks etc the drivers were always so helpful & went out of their way to take us to places we'd enjoy. The villa was well presented & comfortable. Only slight improvement would be a bedsheet as well as a duvet as even with air con we got hot at night. The grounds were well presented & gave it a resort like feeling. Breakfasts were included, lots of choices including 2 "live cooking stations" - one with eggs, pancakes etc, the other doing fried rice, noodles etc. We utilised room service as well, good prices & food was plentiful! Had a fantastic, relaxing holiday & will definitely be back!
We stayed at Desamuda Village for three nights and the entire experience didn't disappoint. The staff went all the way out to provide an impeccable service. Pros: - Great location along the food street, walkable distance to many food places like Eat Well, Brickhouse, Made's Warung, Bintang super mart, etc. Uber is cheap if you need to get around to other places, e.g. only about 19,500 idr from Desamuda to potato head beach club or Kuta beach. - Desamuda provides a free shuttle service (which is more like a private car drop off) to areas in Kuta and seminyak, and also airport transfers. It's not a fixed schedule shuttle, so you just have to notify the receptionist for the use of the service whenever you need it to check on its availability. - Lovely accoms: we stayed in a Deluxe pool villa that comes with a private 1.5m dipping pool. The private villa offers a cozy stay that comes equipped with a kitchenette (with all the appliances you need to cook if you want to), a water dispenser, outdoor shower and bathtub, living area with TV and fan. The room is air conditioned and has a romantic four poster bed. Cons: - You'll get your usual fare of outdoor friends like ants, mosquitoes and even a toad! These are not too much a problem as the housekeeping service is impeccable - twice a day. Mosquito coils and insect repellent are also provided to set up your defence wall if you are prone to bites. This is part of nature of you're looking for a rustic and laid back experience. - Water pressure of our tap was too low for use, and the water dispenser could only dispense hot water. These were quickly resolved after we informed the staff and all was in perfect working condition when we reached back at the accoms after an afternoon out. There is nothing they cannot fix! - Breakfast is very simple with a small selection -- eggs, sausages, bread, and 3-4 other selections. Beverages and fruits are also available. The cafe selection around the accoms is amazing so you can just head out for breakfast too if you want to. Would highly recommend staying at Desamuda as it's located in a central and accessible area in Seminyak. Seminyak is leas rowdy and touristy as compared to Kuta, and offers a much wider food selection in comparison. However for a quiet retreat, ubud might be a better choice. Seminyak offers a bit of everything for your Bali experience.
I was very disappointed to stay only three nights condition, I should have stayed a week or more professional staff, the food was delicious, the rooms were clean and beautiful landscaped garden rooms: rooms are well maintained and clean, romantic, there is a kitchen and crockery, but the knife began a blunt comfortable beds, good tv channel, For Indonesian Channel no MNC group, bathroom comfortable. Resto: good food, western style, the restaurant is also cozy suggestion: add more Indonesia and Halal menu Check in: we are early for check in we had to wait a little while, but it is his point, we can got the room before check-in time, great! Upon check-in I was asked to pay compulsory IDR90k / pax for breakfast and it is compulsory, because our room not include breakfast. staff: the entire staff was very nice and professional, even when I checked out this morning, I have prepared breakfast in a box overall I really enjoyed this hotel, love this villas, cant wait to stay here again
My husband and I arrived after a monster journey from Heathrow to Bali. We were travel weary and so very pleased to see our man waiting for us in the arrival lounge! It was dark when we arrived but to be greeted with a smile and then shown to our enormous room with a private pool, lounge and kitchen - we suddenly felt the last 17 hours melt away!! The pool is crystal clear, the rooms are clean and private, the staff are super friendly and the breakfast is a good selection. Every morning there is live cooking of Nasi Goreng and an egg station. The location is good, about a 10 minute walk to the main drag and about a 20 minute walk to the beach club (ku-de-ta..... AMAZING sunset and cocktails!!) There are also two large public pools, again very clean. Not very many sun loungers so get in there early! The place is a tiny bit rough round the edges but only if you are nit-picking (like our patio doors didn't shut flush so there was a big gap at the top and bottom!) but on the whole we had a great stay and will bring our family with us next time.
Walking into the villas, we were welcomed with open arms, huge smiles and lovely greetings, even though we had a late flight in. The site was spotless, villas were clean and r we ha regular house keeping. The staff were absolutely beautiful and helped us with our every need. Willing to assist with bookings for day trips, booking drivers, and even driving us around to local areas when available. Shoutout to Kadek for his amazing hospitality and willingness to help when after his working hours! Would definitely recommend for young families, couples and even as well as groups of friends (like us)!
The best facilities - clean and spacious. This was a beautiful experience and made very easy by the people who work for desmunda. We felt very well looked after. Room service for days, swims by the pool, so close to everything.
Desamuda Village was a fabulous place to stay. The villa was superb - really spacious and beautifully furnished. The aircon and WiFi worked well and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The private pool was bigger than I expected and the main pools were both fantastic. I really hope we can come again- it is a great location and very family friendly.
My wife and I found this place via online booking service and we were interested by looking the view and facilities offered by desamuda village with some discount price. Check in process was so easy, the receptionist had noticed our arrival and booking plan once i mentioned my name, it was really nice, simple thing! The room was so great, i only booked studio room and not expected that we were gonna have living room separated from our bedroom and there were medium size refrigerator and sink too which i didnt expected at all. The bedroom and bathroom were lovely too, i love bathroom design ~ mixed between modern, simplicity and nature. The environment were quite private for relaxing and enjoying the moment with our spouse or family. Two things that i think should need improvement are meals for breakfast should be more variative and the staff at restaurant should be faster in food refill and set up table for new customer. I found my fork n knife were not the new one and the response from the staff was not quite good. Overall, My wife and i really enjoy staying at desamuda village, really hope that we can back to desamuda and try the pool villa.
