Staff extremely nice. First room had a stench & weak/no Wi-Fi, but they moved us to a more suitable room after we brought it to their attention. Pools well maintained & beautiful. Excellent lighting in room.

we stayed 2 nights at the Champlung Sari hotel and enjoyed it very mych. The deluxe room was spacious and had everything we needed. Air Conditioning works great, nice bed, coffee and tea set up and robes. There was a large balcony with a sitting area ans an occasional monkey or two swinging by. The staff was very attentive and polite as well. The rooms can echo a bit so some hallway noise was the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Other than that the location was perfect, walked to monkey forest, market, and many cafes and shops. We also had the hotel driver take us to the rice terrace which was great. We will stay again when visiting Ubud!

Perfect location in ubud. This is our third time and we will be back.

My wife and I had an incredible experience from arrival until departure ten days later. The hotel was superb from the staff to the scenery to the dining options. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend The Laguna to anyone visiting Bali!

Absolutely terrific. Recommend to everyone. Excellent location, excellent room, excellent staff. Minor point- no internet in the room.

The hotel can be categorized as a small resort in a touristy place. The staff was great and helpfull, food was decent, spa was a charm and the pools were a delight just to cool off after a hot day over the tourist trail.

Champlung Sari is conveniently located in the center of Ubud right next to the Monkey Forest. The hotel itself is very nice. It has Balinese style rooms with small private gardens, 2 swimming pools and a spa. Free breakfast is quite nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Monkeys do come over to the hotel in the morning and in the afternoon. It's better not to touch them and not to carry plastic bags around them. They can get quite aggressive. "-": bathrooms. They do need renovation.

The Hotel was in easy walking distance to Restaurants, shopping, temples, the Yoga Barn and the Monkey Forest. The people were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to find a taxi or driver if you wanted to explore the sights in the area ie. Holy Water Temple, coffee plantation, and artists.

The hotel had a great location, just 50 meters from the Monkey Forest and right on the main road lined with restaurants, dances and shops (far enough away to be quiet). However, this is a touristy area. But those wishing to see a more authentic bali should stay clear from this entire area, which is really quite fun and enjoyable. Also, there is a lot of culture here, it is just aimed at visitors. The hotel has a nice pool, though it does not compare with those in the nicer hotels. Also, the rooms are quite nice, though the bathroom is a little more spare (but still alright). I believe that there are more expensive rooms in cheaper places that would be better, or cheaper rooms in nicer places. This hotel does not quite hit that sweet spot. However, it was quite nice and I did not regret staying there. I will probably not return, though.

The facilities of the hotel are marvelous, they even work as escenario to take some pictures. The pool is nice too. The reception desk service was not best I have recived before, but the other services where very good. The hotel location is unbeatable, many restaurants and shops are pretty near.
