We stayed in a king bed room. Room was spacious, neat and clean. However , the hotel had passed off two twin beds joined together as a king bed, and it was uncomfortable in the centre. Pros: 1. Clean linen 2. A/C worked well 3. Amenities were decent - kettle, coffee/ tea supplies, toiletries, TV, storage shelves, fridge, safe 4. Housekeeping was excellent. The hotel normally provides 2 bottles of mineral water in the room, but when we asked for extra, they were quick to provide us the same, at no extra charge. In fact, they told us that we were entitled to 4 additional bottles of water complimentary per day. 5. Great location - very central, 10-15 mins drive from airport, and loads of supermarkets and ATMS / money changers around. Plus very close to Kuta beach, Lippo Mall, Discovery Mall. 6. Shared access to private beach with next door hotel Ramada Bintang. 7. Good breakfast, with enough vegetarian options. Cons: 1. WiFi connection was quite patchy, with constant disconnection 2. The bathroom had no door with lock!! Just a couple of doors doubling up as mirrors on the reverse side, which don't even close properly. Hence privacy is compromised. 3. Only 1 visible plugpoint, which made it a challenge to simultaneously charge 2 mobile phones and a camera battery Overall a pleasant stay though, and loved the hotel for its location and room quality.
We had a family room consisting of one queen and two singles. Plenty of room for four people. Room is a good size for family of four. Shower has good pressure and hot water. Only bad thing about the room is my wifi was almost non-exsistent. The only places I could get decent wifi was at the pool and in the restaurant. The other problem for me is the smokers at the restaurant at breakfast time (Yes i know that this is the case for most of Indonesia) and the fact I had a non smoking room which I think maybe was on a non smoking floor but my neighbour walks out his door with a lighted cigarette in his hand. Other than that, all the staff are really nice! The location is great, short walk to the beach through the bigger Bintang Beach Resort. Very close to Lippomall, the food hall downstairs at Primo Mart is very good and not expensive.
Lovely place I’ve stayed many times it has it all accept a balcony. Is partnered with the Ramada Bintang run of facilities are shared. Great breakfast real bacon and eggs as much as want. Overall Just a little over priced now for me! Thanks Anggrieni and best of luck
Great deluxe room fantastic staff and food and drinks a fantastic. The managers bent over backwards to make our wedding anniversary and wife birthday one to remember pictures show how fantastic this hotel is.
We have stayed at this wonderful hotel 3 times in the last 18 months and on each occasion have been thoroughly satisfied.. Even though the hotel is a small 'boutique" hotel, it still offers all the amenities that the big 5 star properties have to offer. From valet pick up and drop off to the airport, to fast check in and check out, staff are only happy to assist you in any way. Rooms and bathrooms are of generous size and the rooms air-conditioning is always freezing making it a great relief from the heat outside. Breakfast each morning has ample of variety for everyone to choose and if something is not there, then the staff go out of their way to either make it for you or get it quick. The swimming pool is adequate enough in size considering that most of the time there will only be a handful of swimmers.Great cocktails, drinks and food is available to purchase at the pool bar and the bar staff are always great to have a chat with. One of the best things about this hotel though is its location. 5 Mins from airport by car, Lippo Mall 50m away and an abundance of shops and restaurants right at your door step. There is no better location to stay and the beach is only a 5 min walk. BUT what keeps us coming back to this hotel is the staff. Every staff member goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and nothing is too hard. Sanjaya, Komang (KO) ,Adhi and Citra and many others, are not staff to us now but our Bali family and we can not say one bad word about them or any other staff member. Please do youselves a favour and try this hotel, as once you have you will never look back. 5 star experiences at a fraction of the 5 star cost. See you there again in August 2018.
The hotel was one management with the hotel beside it, Ramada Hotel. 4 stars, and have access to beach (which i saw from the signage, though i haven't tried it). Access for this hotel is kinda hidden, beside the Bank Mandiri. so you need to make sure you did not access the wrong passage, since the hotel have 4 access (the hotel itself, ATM, their sales office, and the restaurant). Front desk staff kinda so so in terms of hospitality, you need to ask them first rather they greet you first when you're in front of the the check in counter. Once you finish your check in, you will have your access card + breakfast vouchers. Their lift was a bit small size (4-6 people max without luggage). Their room was quite large, equipped with large screen TV (+ cable channels). Cold air con to compensate the hot temperature in Bali, a desk, and storage cabinet. Shower room was quite big, with 3 compartments (shower, washbowl, and closet). The negative side of this hotel: Didnot provide body liquid soap, toothbrush, and toothpaste and other bathroom amenities. Though you can buy it on minimarket across the road from the hotel (CocoMart). And electricity plug (beside bedroom) which was hidden under small box compartment. On the other hand, breakfast area was not spacious, no chocolate for their pancake/bread menu (only liquid sugar), precooked eggs (cant customized). Though they also provide 1 pork bacon menu, it still failed me in terms of breakfast feature. In terms of pricing, maybe you can try to review another hotel in this area, to find the best hotel which can maximized your Bali trip's experience :)
We stayed 7 nights at the Bintang Kuta and at the end, decided we would happily return to stay again. The hotel is conveniently located near Kuta beach, adjacent to the Ramada Bintang Resort which has direct access to the boardwalk along the waterfront. We found the room to be one of the largest we have stayed in of hotels in this class. Particularly pleasing was the large amount of space to open suit cases. The bed was comfortable although we did find ourselves getting tangled up in the linen due to the fashion in which the beds were made up. The breakfast (included in our room rate) was good enough to fuel us for most of the day and the restaurant serves reasonably priced meals for lunch and dinner if for some reason the local restaurants don't appeal. The hotel pool was just what we needed on the hot afternoons. Despite not being a huge pool, we never found it crowded. Regarding hotel WiFi, the only thing I'll say is it is slow as the rest of the internet in Bali. Additionally, we enjoyed the fact that the hotel is very close to the Lippo mall which has a good range of shops including a supermarket which is very useful for all sorts of day to day needs. A little further away in the direction of Kuta is Discovery mall which has even more shops you might find useful.
After a little delay in checking in, I was pleasantly surprised by the room on level 4, with pool view. The room was clean, with a nice bathroom and the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. ( The linen smelled cigarette smoke, probably because the staff making the bed were smoking before handling the linen). The air condition was more than adequate to keep the room cool. Breakfast was not as rich as in other hotels of the same class but everyone can find something to eat. There were eggs, omelette, fried and steamed rice, vegetables, noodles, variety of bread, croissants, pancakes, salads, fruit and juices, so it was good. Staff are very professional but the do not appear to be friendly. Not one staff member smiled to anyone in that hotel, which is very unusual for Bali. Having said that, the service was excellent. There is also a convenient store and a pharmacy and Lipo mall 2 minutes walk away. Guest can also use the pool and gym next door at the Ramada Bintang Hotel.
We stayed on 30-1st of Jan in Bintang Kuta as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Here are our takeaways: + Good location. 2 min walk to Lippo mall, lot of restaurants and shops close by. + Breakfast had lots of options (even for vegetarians like us). + Room super tidy and had decent space to store luggage. + pool and pool bar are good options. + Great value for money. - Shower area had some drainage issue due to which water was not seeping as fast as it should have. - No Hair dryer in room. Service & Housekeeping in new year time took too much time.
Was in bali for about 5 nights and stayed here. Stayed here 4 years ago too. Rooms still looked very well kept. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Buffet breakfast was decent. Its really close to lippo mall(1-2min walk) and about a 10-15 minute walk to discovery mall, so location was good for us. Pool was small but i felt was much cleaner than ramada's. Beach access via ramada wasnt very convenient though. Might as well walk to discovery mall area with nicer beach stretch. For the price it was really worth it! Overall a decent comfortable stay.
