We will definitely be back and are sad to leave today as we sit taking in our last expansive waterfront breakfast view and dine on the fresh hospitably served breakfast The tone since we arrived has been genuinely caring and friendly the property is clean and elegantly Balinese the garden walk to any of the bars, restaurants , beach or lobby are reflective and refreshing.. Nothing has been a trouble we have had shoes and clothes made of excellent quality and price from in house providers wonderful day trios, with English speaking guide, parasailing, snorkeling and beach front romantic candle lit dinner all arranged in house at our fequest.. A memorable stay with friendships made Thank you
Staying there during one of business trip to Bali. It was a pleasant stay, the hotel offers you with traditional setting on the premises. Starting from theri enterence up to the coszy room with traditional looks. The food is good and nice for this hotel, although I don't have time to enjoy all the facilities, however the hotel had a nice pool near to their beach. So it is a good place for a family trip, you can enjoy the beach with all your family. Location wise, it's achievable for you to go sight seeing in Bali. Not very much to see in Benoa beside the water sport but you can still go to Kuta area by car or motorcycle. Recommended for familiy trip hotel...
I revisited the Bali tropic hotel and spa last week, travelling solo for some time out. Was met by the smiling bell captain at the airport, despite a three hour delay in the flight arrival. For the seven days of my stay I was made to feel completely at home, in a friendly and helpful environment. The hotel manager Ketut should be proud of his establishment and staff who represent everything that is good about Bali. A feature for the culture lovers out there is the Friday night culture show which features a great young gamelan orchestra and dancers who are a joy to behold. An authentic experience. The hotel features a well priced spa which offers a range of massage and beauty options which I took full advantage of. I really recommend this establishment and look forward to returning.
We recently spent 11 days at Bali Tropic. It was our 3rd visit to Bali. We had previously stayed at neighbouring resorts Club Med and The Nusa Dua Beach Resort & Spa. We had taken advantage of a Scoopon deal which enabled us to stay in two adjoining Deluxe Bungalow suites. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The bed in our room however was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. The kids’ king singles were slightly more comfortable. Overall we had an enjoyable stay, however this resort could be so much better if they focused on improving a couple of areas. The resort is promoted as ‘all inclusive’, however our deal was buffet breakfast and dinner - no beverages/drinks. This is the first area that needs improvement. Breakfast was generally good; there were options for breads, cereals, egg station, and fresh fruits. The buffet dinner was a different affair. There were very limited options available for dinner. After a couple of nights of the same thing over and over - probably about 5 or 6 different options, we looked elsewhere. There’s an a-la-carte restaurant which was better, but still - not any real variety. We ended up eating regularly at The Bali Collection which is roughly 25 minutes walk from Bali Tropic. There is a multitude of restaurants all competing for your business with all cuisines represented at very reasonable prices. The other area which they need to look at is the grounds and the beach area. There is a track that runs along the beachfront from Tanjung Benoa to Nusa Dua. Along the way you pass Bali Sol, Club Med, The Sofitel, The Westin, The Melia, Bali Beach Resort & Spa, and the Grand Hyatt. All of these resorts have manicured lawns and lovely beaches. Bali Tropic appears to have no idea what a lawnmower is. The attached pictures will give you and idea. The there’s the library/pool table area. When you pick up a newspaper you expect to read something a little current, not 3 months old. Last but not least is the gym. It’s reasonably equipped for a resort, but it would help if the cardio equipment was maintained. The cross trainer was barely operational with the readout not working; the same with the stationery bike. Whilst on bikes, the bikes that were available for rent at 50,000 IRP for 2 hours, could also use some maintenance or some oil on the chains once in a while. On a positive note the gym had a Smiths Machine which thankfully was working. Having said all this, we paid $2500 for 11 days, with breakfast and lunch and two deluxe adjoining suites, so in this regard, it was a very reasonable cost all things considered. You get what you pay for. As I said, it wouldn’t take too much to really improve this Resort, but at the moment, its neighbours have the wood on it.
We arrived at the hotel on the 2nd January and stayed 10 days. The check in was quick and very professional. We were sat at the lobby and explained everything. The lady showed us the surroundings and the room itself. The reception staff is very kind, professional and extremely friendly. They always have an answer for you and are always ready to help. The hotel surroundings are beautiful, green and nicely arranged. You will find there lots of palm trees, well kept greens and grass as well as some motifs of Balinese taste e.g a temple. The pool is amazing -the water is heated so it's perfect. The sunbeds are very nice and comfortable. We felt like we had a private swimming pool as it wasnt very busy at that time. The bar staff is fantastic and friendly always ready to make a drink the way you ask them to. Always trying to make you feel as comfortable as possible. The restaurants at the hotel offer variety of food. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices, lunch was great and dinner amazing. The food is fresh and amazingly prepared. The price of food is reasonable even if you order a lobster. The restaurant staff is very welcoming and professional. The room we stayed in was great with shower and bathtub. It was spacious and comfortable. The linen was changed regularly and towels daily. Housekeeping also is doing a very good job. The only bad thing about this hotel was the fact that we had to leave. 🙁 Do not hesitate to book this hotel. A huge thanks to all the staff who made our holiday unforgettable. (Do not be afraid of the volcano, it is media propaganda. Bali is safe and wonderful.)
very nice balinese style hotel ! well located and charming. nice buffets and very good service. very quiet and calm. good value price hotel. nice and large room. clean room and garden are beautiful nice sport equipment.
No more words. It's too perfect for me. Reservation, Check-in process, check-out time process, hospitality, atmosphere, room, facilities, activities, Staff, Food, everything are perfect and can't wait for my next visit. Thanks a bunch Bali Tropic Team.
love this place. Fabulous service and staff. best place to go for a relaxing break. has everything you need , no need to leave the resort. Its traditional Balinese style and with the all inclusive package your holiday is complete.
The resort itself is located centrally (Nusa Dua) accessed to grocery stores, restaurants, massages/spa and mall were near. The beach was kept clean and it was a nice beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but they can improve with their lunch and dinner, most of the food we've ordered was blunt. The room itself was nice huge and comfy bed. The surroundings were well kept and the landscaping was great.
Nice hotel grounds and clean. Some renovations going on so a few afternoons were spoiled by drilling. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very disappointing and add on 21% tax to everything makes it expensive. Breakfast was good enough but would eat out for other meals.
