The place is very peaceful. Quite and nice hotel but not far away from the city and airport. The views is absolutely incredible. Room is big and comfortable. Room also have kitchen and dining table. There is a small pool like jacuzzi inside my room and outside for the other rooms. Breakfast can deliver to our room. A lot of stairs so old people have to be ready for that.

Great big room with lounge and kitchen, bathroom beautiful with separate outdoor shower. Plunge pool is perfect size for a dip. Very private. Staff are wonderful. Breakfast was great. Highly recommended.

I was greeted with orange juice and towels which made me feel like a was royalty. The pool was the perfect temperature; not so hot that i was not refreshed but warm enough so I didn't get cold. The food was great and the beds are clean and comfy. The staff are very polite and hospitable and overall I had a lovely stay

Bali Masari Beautiful hotel nestled in the quite and tranquility of Sukawati. Away from the busy crowds this gorgeous hotel offers you everything you would need from a relaxing holiday. The villas are spacious and recently decorated they have their own splash pool and balcony overlooking breathtaking scenery. If you want peace and quite this is the place to visit. We have just stayed for six nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff have very good English, are very friendly and accommodating. Love staying here and look forward to coming back next February. Excellent service, fantastic value for money, food is excellent with a wide range and caters for vegetarians, the vegetarian curry is one of my favourites. For us the location is perfect.

Found this establishment to be tired and run down definitely better value for money elsewhere. Also unlucky enough to meet the owner who I found to be one of the rudest people on the island. Save your money and sleep elsewhere.

We spent the first week of our three week Bali trip here in late September. Wow! Absolutely loved it! I fear that our next two weeks just won't live up to the bar Wayan, his staff and the hotel have set. We booked only two days before arriving & got a great deal. We had friends come & stay for one night & they were equally impressed. It's lovely & quiet and therefore not close to anything, but full credit to the hotel for still charging reasonable prices for meals. Some would say the stairs were a drawback, but my husband has very bad knees & I have a twinge - we both noticed an improvement due to taking the stairs. Wayan the driver is also a fantastic asset to the hotel. Speaks good English and very happy to impart his knowledge of Balinese culture. If there was an option for 4 and a half stars I would have chosen that, but TV reception not great, so couldn't rate a five. If you don't want TV, consider it a five! Can't wait to come back, but next time we will make it our last stay instead of our first :)

The view when you arrive is breathtaking. The check in was a bit challenging, at 1st they couldn't find my booking, then they said there is no more 1 bedroom villas so they put me in a 2 bedrooms villa (but they lock one of the rooms, just in case...). I was 1st happy to be "upgraded", until I arrived in the villa completely downstairs of the hill. The living room is huge and... dark, and dusty. The tiny so called plunge pool was dirty and unusable. When I complained they asked me if I can use it the day after and they send someone to treat it. Then one of the aircon was not working, the safety box neither, 2 lamps neither. When they fixed everything the room was still dim anyway. In the living room there is 1 sofa for 2 in front of the tiny tv and 2 chairs. I wonder how comfortable it would be with 4 people in the villa. The bedroom was acceptable except the curtains that must be burnt very soon, no need to clean it anymore. The bathroom is terrible and smell bad, there is an outdoor shower that comes straight from the horror house, so dark and dusty. There is a 2001 award in the lobby, I think nothing changed since. Most of the staff was kind, the food was ok. The swimming pool area is quite nice with a beautiful view. The hotel is not very expensive for a comparable price you can have something fantastic in a more happening area. When I checked in I realized they made a photocopy of my credit card, front and back which is unacceptable. Conclusion, if you still want to go there don't take the 2 bedrooms villa, maybe some villas are fine. And don't accept the so called upgrade and careful of your credit card.

We have just checked out of Bali Masari today and have loved every aspect of this resort. No, it is not five star luxury, but we never expected it to be. It is perfect for unwinding and being at one with nature. We found the resort really well kept. The grounds are beautiful, the villas are really traditionally built with clean, large open spaces and a comfy bed. You can stay in your Villa and only hear the sound of the birds whilst having a dip in the plunge pool or, like us go up to the main pool (which is really beautiful) and pass by the hours with the most spectacular river valley views. The restaurant has a small menu but we ate there on the first night and it was good local food. The hotel has a shuttle to Ubud which we used on the second day and on the third we ate at a local Warung called Balifornia which we can highly recommend (the hotel can organise a car to take you there and the driver waits for you and then brings you back). Breakfast is a choice of western or local - I can highly recommend the Nasi Goreng here (had it every day!). We didn't use the Spa so can't comment on that. For the price we paid in high season I think this resort is a bargain and all the staff are so welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights and found it a great base to explore the local area. Would definitely return!

Just had the pleasure of staying at Bali Masari Villas with two friends and a wonderful relaxing stay . The staff could not be more accommodating and The scenery was breathtaking. If you want to experience the real Bali , I highly recommend you stay there .

We stayed at the Bali Masari for 3 days and i wish we could stay longer. The place is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpfull with all your needs. Ask for å worker called adi, he makes u feel really welcome. Its placed perfect if you want to explore ubud or go to the beach, just rent a scooter or a car and explore the area. Have a great stay! - stian haugen
