Huge area just for the both of us, with private pool! Place is kept clean, a little old but still in tact! There'll definitely be bugs are toilet is outdoor. But it's totally an unforgettable experience. There's Wi-Fi, but don't expect a stable connection. Well, you're suppose to unwind anyways! There's breakfast, it's good! Although not buffet but it's pretty heavy. The juices are good! I had and just kept to the pineapple while my bf had the watermelon juice. In terms of location, it may be a little far in But if you were to rent a bike (70,000rph), it's so convenient! We even rode our way to Jimbaran's rock bar and Malaga cafe. All in all, I will rate this place a 7/10 for an affordable villa experience! Oh not forgetting, it's also located near Hog Wild (walking distance) and it's apparently good!
Both my boyfriend and I loved this place to start out our Bali vacation. We had a private villa and it was lovely. The hospitality there was wonderful. The entire staff was extremely nice and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. And the complimentary breakfast was our favorite breakfast of the entire trip! So delicious! Fresh fruit and fresh Bali coffee brought to our room every morning. Definitely recommended to all looking for a serene but cultural hotel experience.
I was surprised about the villa and the conditions: Inside pool with fresh water, jacuzzi, nice room, big bed, big tv, air conditioning, big kitchen, quite and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is also very friendly and helped with our requests. Breakfast is brought in the room so that’s for sure a plus. Ok some small improvements can be made to the furniture and shower but this doesn’t affect the overall conditions. I am glad that we chose this location, definitely worth trying. Also they helped with the transfer from the Denpasar airport to the location.
These villas have definitely have not been receiving the love it used to. We don't expect this place to stay open much longer. The area that the villa is in used to be very busy and bustling when we visited a few years ago, but it seems that everyone has moved away. The villas are a bit down the little street from the main road which makes it pretty quiet, except when you can hear the people in the next villa (via the outdoor bathrooms) speaking loudly and shouting. The first day we felt we were the only guests in the villa and it seems that maybe they are understaffed. We stayed in Rose Villa and it seemed like it had been neglected. It could use some refurbishing: the fridge was rusty, the outdoor furniture seemed old and cushions had dirty stains, there were ants in the drawers, kitchen, tables, the appliances looked like they have not been touched for years, the bedroom closets were squeaky, shower heads were quite old and rusty, air con was not that cold on 17 degrees and bed was quite hard. Some of the towels, although smelled nice and clean, were no longer white, but more of a yellow/brown color. We ordered room service for lunch (local food like rice and noodles) and taste was ok. They delivered the food but obtained the silverware from our kitchen. When we finished, we covered the plates and silverware with the plastic wrap it came it. When we came back that night, no one had collected any of them. We thought that was a bit strange seeing as someone had come in for turn down service. When our breakfast was delivered the next morning, the staff asked us if we knew where the silverware was. We looked and there was no more so he washed the ones from our previous day's lunch and passed it to us and apologized that it was dripping wet. When he left, he also did not bring any of the dirty dishes out. Seeing as the kitchen is outdoor and there were lots of ants, we found it strange that no one collected or cleaned the dishes or glasses. Were we expected to do this??? Since we didn't want bugs everywhere, after we finished eating, we cleared all the food off all the dishes and stacked them all in the sink and covered them with hot water. We washed a few of them that were particularly sticky (orange juice glasses etc). The coffee pots are all very stained and brown from previous use and not being cleaned well. Honestly, we would suggest not eating breakfast at the villa. We ordered poached eggs (definitely do not know how to poach eggs) and scrambled eggs (more like fried omelette and cut up into small pieces). Was quote disappointing. When we tried to call the restaurant, there was no answer. The pool was ok, but the water was always very warm, the concrete tiles on the bottom of the pool floor are starting to deteriorate so there were little loose pieces of rocks. It is rather deep so definitely not good for little ones. We went to the main pool to have a look and the water was also very warm and there are no steps/ladder to get in or out of the pool. The villa actually does not seem a very safe setup for small children, older people or pregnant women. There are lots of rocks around the garden and mainly in the outdoor bathroom. Difficult to walk on and I almost slipped a few times when there were rocks on the path. The outdoor bathroom is also not fully covered so if it rained, not sure how you would shower to take a bath. It is also extremely hot and stuffy in the outdoor bathroom, even though it is outdoors. The bathroom door is also extremely loud to open and close, we could also here our neighbors opening and slamming the bathroom door at night. If you put all of the above aside, I suppose it is not the worst place to stay, but there are plenty of villas in Bali to choose from and some at cheaper prices. Also the airport transfer offered by the villa is extremely expensive - IDR 400,000. We took a car that only costs us IDR 60,000-70,000.
Felt a bit tricked by the glowing reviews of this place. Quite out of the way, nearly empty, feels like a ghost town. The staff are quite nice and it is close to the beach, but everywhere in Bali has nice staff and there are cheaper places close to much nicer beaches. Maybe our Villa, rose, is just the worst one. Everything is old, hard bed, aircon not very cool, would not recommend. The surrounding area seems like it is past its hey day as well. Had visited this area 4 years ago and there were many more bars, restaurants, etc. Now everything is closed, under construction, etc.
Everything about this place was Class A Luxury. Rose Villa, whilst being at the front of the hotel, was incredibly private and a beautiful peaceful haven. The staff were phenomenal and so helpful (AND KIND!) Beers by the main pool while watching the sun set, then back to relax in our private pool villa for dinner was exactly what we needed from our relaxing holiday. Just a short trip into central Semenyak (Situated in the quiet part of Semenyak!) its cheaper to cab during off peak times, but still super cheap regardless. Plenty of food to your right, and the local beach to your left, it was everything we could hope for. We'll definitely be back.
this is situated at the quiet end of Seminyak though is a short drive or a walk along the beach to get to Seminyak. The great thing about a villa complex is you get the privacy of your own villa but as opposed to staying in a single villa you dont feel that all the staff are just waiting for you to ask for something you also have communal areas. Our villa was huge with its own pool, day bed, fantastic outdoor bathroom and kitchen area. The restaurant was good. Being our own villa we had some friends around one evening and simply ordered room service instead of going out, My only crticism is that the pool in our villa had no shallow end so would definitely not be good for kids and the kitchen wasn't well stocked though anything we needed was brought straight away by staff.
Spent 4 days and 3 nights here with my girlfriend for my birthday. We were greeted by friendly staff who were always smiling. Villa Jasmine is super spacious with your own private kitchen and pool. Toilet is an open spaced design which is really lovely. Breakfast can either be brought to your villa in the morning or you can have it at the restaurant. You’ll need to fill up a form to tick your choice of breakfast everyday and it needs to be given to the staff everyday. They have vegetarian options for breakfast which is great for me. We ordered food from the restaurant twice and the food was great on both occasions. Prices are very affordable as well. You can also have massages done in your own villa however we never got to try it out. If you’re particular on hotel amenities then I do suggest to bring your own as the ones provided could definitely be better. However anything we needed were provided by dialling “0” on the landline. Location is great as it’s near Potato Head Beach Club, Woobar and Finns beach. You could probably walk on the beach to reach these places but we opted to take Grab. Overall the staff are super efficient and very friendly. Especially Mr Koman who we met on the second day onwards. Thank you to both Mr Ketut and Mr Koman who were at the reception. Your services were much appreciated. Sampai jumpa lagi!
We spent here new year and the villa was nice. It can use a bit of refurbishment as it starts to look a bit outdated, especially the kitchen. The breakfasts are ok but not great. The Wifi is very slow. But the service is excellent and the staff very nice, whatever you ask is ok. The villa is well cleaned including the pools. The access to the Main Street and beach is fast and easy. It’s a nice place to stay when in Seminyak.
What a treat this place was! Your own private pool and area! Air con was great, food was 7 out of 10. Close walk to shopping and fun! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Made for a great adventure. Good pricing for what you get.
