There is a lot of 5* hotels that old but it's not the excuse not maintain the building and keep it in a bad shape .The hotel looks very cheap and old,The rooms are huge and nice but the A/C not works well,Breakfast is great but i won't be back it's not worth the price you can get better value for the money that this hotel cost .

This hotel is close to the beach, and looks amazing. I chose it to splurge on one accommodation during my trip to Bali. The one thing I really wanted was a jacuzzi looking at the ocean. The room I was given was an obscured view on a lower floor and little privacy. My jaccuzi wouldn't drain and ran out of hot water half way during the fill. Pretty disappointing for the money I paid.

Views are awesome. Breakfast spread is exceptional. Restaurant and spa also terrific. Morning yoga on beach was awesome.

We had an Ocean facing room with a balcony that had amongst the most amazing views I have seen. The room itself had the little touches of luxury one expects from such a property. The breakfast spread was sumptuous and the staff was quite helpful in helping us plan our activities in Seminyak. Overall highly recommended for anyone planning a trip here.

Anantara Hotel was great. Right at the beach. Nice, big, comfortable room with a beautiful view. Very reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good food. Good location close to plenty of action yet still feels removed from that action when you just want to relax.

Excellent hotel and location, pool is great, service is wonderful. Recommend an ocean view room on a higher floor.

I recently went to Bali with my friends for a getaway. We looked at all of the hotels in Seminyak and could not have been happier with our choice. The rooms and amenities were impeccable (their free breakfast every morning is insane), but what really made this an awesome experience was the staff. Every single person, from the front desk to the pool servers, were kind, attentive, and just pleasant to be around. Bali is not known for its service (at least in our experience), but this was the best I have ever received among all of the nice hotels I have stayed at. Would definitely recommend if you are considering staying in Seminyak!

Overall awesome hotel - great location and excellent staff. Only issue would be the room cleanliness - the sheets had a stain on them in several places.

Anantara is a little bit off the main strip where the other shops and five star resorts are. Despite the lack of grand entrance and gigantic pool as is expected of most Bali resorts, the attentive staff and the enormous suites make up for its 'flaws'.

I just spent 6 days at the Anantara and had an amazing time. The hotel is a boutique (mini resort) offering huge, spacious suites. Sand/ wood color palette, high celings, jacuzzi tubs on your balcony, sitting area with mini bar and coffee maker, Bathroom: double sinks, seperate indoor jacuzzi tub in bathroom, rainfall shower, seperate closet/ changing room with vanity seating area. Everything you need to make you feel at ease, you get it. The hotel itself overlooks the ocean and couldn't have been in a better location. You can walk from the pool, directly onto the ocean while hotel security watches over your personal belongings. If you prefer the pool, the hotel provides a complimentary basket complete with 2 water bottles, local island fruit, sunblock and a mositure face/body mist from the spa. WOW.. never expected that! The food selection is varied and delicious at any time. Forget the 'continental' breakfast.. you get a full spead here! The staff couldn't have been more friendly. They were very eager to help in any way and remember everyone by their names. The price may be a little steap for Bali overall, as a good hotel room should really run you $60-100. I speant $35 a night 8 years ago in a nearby local hotel and while I could have booked the same price somewhere else, I wouldn't have had the same experience. The Anantara was a luxurious spurge that met all of my expectations.

Dear Josh, Thank you for your feedback. Please allow me to apologize on behalf of the Management for unable to met your expectation. Balcony protector are given to guest to add more privacy in their balcony area. Unfortunately we did not received feedback during your stay, otherwise we would be able to offer you this. In regards to hot water, each room has its capacity and if I'm not mistaken it supposed to filled 2/3 of Jacuzzi mass for hot water only. Automatic time to refill hot water is approx 30 minutes. Hope the above explanation are suffice and nevertheless, we are hoping to welcome you back next time. With kind regards, Asti Dewi | Director of Rooms
