Checked in with my family and extended family for a 3 night stay ! okay firstly this is NOT a beach property and i highly doubt if it's even a 4 star the services are very poor , highly understaffed i was declined a transfer almost 4 times , rooms are beautiful but the staff can get a little more professional and help ful . do not expect any 5 star service from this hotel!! The walk to the beach is a good 20 mins !!!
My friends and I stayed in Amarterra for a relaxing and chilled girls trip! We really are amazed with the services! Started from the front desk, they were really helpful and you can see that all the staff are very well trained.. The room was really beautiful, homie and clean!! It will be much better if you're staying with your love one! Moving to the Spa! OMG you'll experience the best massage that you'll ever get around that area for a reasonable price, very relaxing! The restaurant is facing the pool, so it is nice to just chill there or just having drinks at the bar while waiting for the food. The food tasted really good and it was freshly made by the chef! I can tell! We got a visit from the GM and the Sales Director while chilling at the bar, they were very friendly and just made sure that everything is Ok! That's a very nice gesture that they'll need to keep! I'll definitely come and stay in Amarterra again for my next visit!
Wow! This hotel TOPS all other hotels we've ever been to in Bali! The service we've gotten, you could not ask for a more personalised service! We had booked an intimate wedding package with Amarterra. Our wedding coordinator, Taufik was absolutely brilliant! Taufik and his team made sure that on our special day, everything went smoothly and that no stress fell on our shoulders at all. Room: We had a one bedroom villa booked with the wedding package. Could not stress this more, but it was so good for us before and after the wedding. The room was very spacious, with excellent private spa/jacuzzi. The pool private pool was great for a quick morning dip or relaxing chill in the evening. It was brilliant! Villa was really serene, everything you need for a private getaway. Location: It is located in a very decent part of Nusa Dua. They provide free shuttle to wherever around Nusa Dua area. Very friendly drivers and receptions. Central in and around Nusa Dua. Facilities: Facilities within the villa fully equip you with what you need for a super relaxing getaway. Even with real coffee! Within the hotel, you could basically have anything you are looking for during a honeymoon in Bali. There's decent gym, very private and relaxing spa, swimming pool for family (with private pool within the villa, I wouldn't know why you'd bother going out?)... Service: The experience we had at the hotel, as a team, they were absolutely wonderful. From reception to house keeping! On our wedding night they even prepared our room specially! Nearly everyone who worked at the hotel were polite and kind when we met them, always with a smile on their face! Their GM, whom they call Pak Tangi was really kind and came around to say Hi and quick chat to the guests during breakfast! This was a really great gesture on behalf of the management and did made the stay even more personal! Dining: Hats off to the Chef! Had absolutely the most satisfying culinary experience we’ve had! Wide variety of breakfast to choose from, really could not complain. We also had a romantic night dinner in our private villa! The effort and personal touch they put in is simply outstanding! They came early to decorate our villa with flowers, gave us a private waiter for the night, even extra touch with desserts! We had such a special night at our own pace during the dinner! It was so romantic and memorable night for us. In conclusion, what else can we say, if you’re looking for an intimate wedding location with one of the best team to run it, you’re looking at the right place. On honeymoon; Perfect. Thank you Amarterra for such a wonderful, memorable fairy tale wedding that we didn’t realise we wanted but had experienced. All our friends who attended the wedding had only praise about this place and the team!
Nice place to stay for a romantic get away. We especially liked the outside living room and the pool. Some of the showers are also outside which gives you that feeling of being in paradise. The breakfast is a real treat. For dinner there is only one restaurant to choose from - but other restaurants are close by and they do theme evenings worthwhile visiting
We stayed at Amarterra on the last stop of our Bali honeymoon having visited Seminyak and Ubud before. Pros: -beautiful exterior and well kept grounds -polite and friendly staff - lovely touches for our honeymoon (petals in bathtub and a heart shaped cake) - lovely food in the restaurant/room service -close to the beach and beds available for hotel guests - comfortable outdoor space to sit in the evenings in each villa Cons: - the pool was a little dirty, although it was cleaned daily the nets used would only pick up the large bits so there was always a layer of smaller bits floating in the water which didn't make it that appealing to get into.
Took 3 nights to ourselves after a hectic conference in Nusa Dua. Amarterra is nestled in between some of the bigger resorts close to the beach at Nusa Dua., but a quiet, tranquil oasis that could be miles away from the bustle of Nusa Dua. The architecture and clever landscaping is simply breathtaking. The entrance gateway to the lobby is spectacular. Our villa - with a large private pool and large outdoor spaces leave no luxury behind. Two outdoor showers. Free (non-alcoholic) mini bar and great restaurant by the resort pool. Lovely tranquil spa with small but special "menu". And of course the very unique service and friendliness of the Balinese staff...nothing is too much trouble. A very special place (and I've been lucky enough to have seen a few) - would definitely come back again....
Let me make it simple: The villa is peaceful and full of privacy, great accommodation for couple, newlywed or friends! The staffs are helpful and courteous! I got complimentary breakfast during my stay and the quality of food is fabulous! The dinner was fantastic too! And the spa service was excellent! Highly recommended!
Pros: Amazing villa with beautiful pool. Superb Bali style decorations. Good food in the restaurant with good price. Lovely staff. Will recommend if you love to have a luxurious Balinese experience. Cons: restaurant staff needs to speak more English. Small public area. May have to stay in your own villa or got the the beach.
We stayed as family in connecting Villas at Amarterra, and we loved every minute of our 5 day stay. The villas are very spacious and comfortable: private pool, free minibar, efficient air conditioning, comfortable beds, showers outdoors and indoors, bathtub, walk in closet, etc. The staff is super courteous and helpful. The food at the restaurant is very good, and they are willing to accommodate specific requests. Note that the hotel is not at the beachfront, and the beach is a few minutes away - the hotel provides a ride if you require. The manager, Mr. Legrand goes the extra mile to make sure we are happy at the hotel.
The hotel is on a human scale where calm and serenity are the key word. For this second stay, we stayed in a 1 bedroom villa for 2 weeks. On arrival a personal welcome with welcome drink, Balinese welcome ceremony and meeting with hotel manager (really friendly, attentive and available for his guests). The villa is very spacious and very well appointed with private pool, large bedroom, dressing room and a spacious bathroom (bath and shower). The living room is outdoors. The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping service very nice. Only negative points at this wonderful stay : the in room dining service is a little disappointed… The food quality is not always there for an hotel of this standing and a french group. However there is a good price-performance ratio and a wide choice of meals. Waiters are very nice and pleasant except the friendliness of one of the waiters we had several times. Also, wifi quality is very bad but we are in holidays so it’s just a detail. A truly magnificent trip with a sublime hotel, a really nice and beautiful team that contributes to the smooth running of the stay and the attentions that make you very happy (Tea Time offered 1 time for example surely due to our status platinum Le club Accor). We will be back and recommend this hotel for a family or a romantic trip !!!
