The staff made you feel welcome with a friendly smile and if you required service such as ice they where at your door in no time. The Villas where very private and had a great layout. So good to have the living area outside next to the pool. I would also like to note that staying in Nusa Dua you are away from a lot of traffic congestion, noting especially when doing transfers to and from the airport. The Villas are also an easy walk to Bali Collection Shopping Centre. Once again, thanks to the staff at Amarterra for making it such an enjoyable stay.
From even before we arrived, when we were picked up from our previous accommodation, we were made to feel very welcome. This continued throughout our stay. Every member of staff we met, from front of house, to maintenance, restaurant staff and management were exemplary; being both courteous and efficient. We had a problem with out toilet flush, but after a quick phone call, someone from maintenance was sent promptly and the problem was solved. The GM is very responsive to constructive feedback. Comments and suggestions I made after a previous stay, were acted upon, which made for a much improved experience. It was great to be able to meet him in order to thank him personally.
My last visited to this place on may this year. I always like two big square pools on the front of main gate. The polls are made with red stone and there are not fish. The pool make my mind feel empty because of no fishes inside. I fell releks about that. And finally the mid gate as coll as ancient temple, so good. I love the staff.
Was extremely satisfied in this luxurious hotel. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved every detail in the room. I had a problem with the air conditioning, and I had to do is to call, staff immediately came and fixed the problem. Staff at amerterra were extremely polite and helpful. Would love to thank every single person at amarterra for their dedication and for making my stay memorable.
This was my first visit to Bali and I'm so happy I chose the Amarterra to stay. I was alone, so the villa was definitely oversized but I liked it that way. The private swimming pool was clean and very big. The bed was large and comfy. The place was spotless. All of the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. And the food was delicious! The breakfast every morning was fresh. Checking in and out was painless. The beach club was nice, although I wasn't too impressed with Nusa Dua beach in general. But still, I had a lovely stay at the villas. Hopefully I will be back soon.
The villas and grounds are gorgeous at Amarterra. I felt very welcome by all the staff and it is a short walk to the beach. I would rate this higher if not for the resort food (mediocre considering the cost) and the beach area. While the hotel has designated chairs and someone to provide towels, there is not a decent beach bar or food options there. Overall I enjoyed my stay but would probably not return.
superb villas that I can't imagine before, all things set to perfect, so I really enjoyed the day. thanks to the kindness all villas crew. maybe the meals should be more spicy I think, the taste should be same with the real traditional food outside. this villas different from the other 5 star hotels that I ever came. it really not like standard 5 star hotel, so its a new trip experience for all guests.
Breathe taking feeling upon arrival in the resort with optimum attention to guests delivering a stress free experience right from check-in, which is maintained throughout the stay. Amarterra villas is a true 5-stars resort enabling you to resource yourself during your holidays while leaving you the plenty of options for activities. Also, unlike other hotels, staff intention isn't to constantly sell other products, the hotel is providing plenty of amenities for free and let you free to spend your money when you are up to do so. Some of the breakfast options are very tasty and rare in hotels, we were particularly keen on the Lobster Egg Benedict. On the small minus side, the beach isn't located right next to the hotel but there is a reserved area for hotels guest with lounge chairs and service provided at the beach. Also you can ask for a lift to the beach if you don't want to walk there. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I need peaceful holidays with outstanding service and food.
Private villa, lovely size room, outdoor and indoor shower, outdoor sitting room was almost not used as there's mosquitoes around. There's a small private pool which is nice. Main pool has no use at all as all villas got their own pool. Downside. It's not in the beach 500m walk to the water. Foods were ok not the best but there's no restaurants near by to go to. Although there's a tourist place with foods but just not ideal walking 10m across the dark park to it. Overall nice and private, great if you got kids or friends and spending time at the villa.
This is a top class resort, with 32 1-bedroom villas and 6 2-bedroom villas. Each villa has its own pool which is a good size. The bedroom and bathroom are high quality also, with TV above the bath, 2 large showers, 4-poster bed. We travelled with out 18-month old daughter and had a 1-bedroom villa - the resort provided a cot. You could travel with 2 children and convert the sofa in the bedroom to a bed. The 2 bedroom villa are more suited to eaither 2 couples (with 1 or 2 children each) or a couple with 2 grown up children, as the bedrooms are not in the same area. I will repeat what so many other reviewers have stated - what makes this place special is the service - the staff are exceptional - willing to do anything to create the perfect holiday. They provided toys and a gift for our daughter, would cater for any dietary requirements and were generally a joy to be around. We had a small issue in our villa on the first night and were immediately moved to a new villa, Varda 1. Tika ensured everything was perfect for us. Our towels were changed twice a day and turn down service every evening. The free mini bar (soft drinks and snacks) was refilled twice a day. The food was very good - breakfast options were plenty and it was nice that it was a la carte, rather than buffet, which is the case at most large resorts. The communal pool is beautiful and very quiet. The gym is sufficient for holiday and the massages excellent. The beach club is also excellent and short walk from the hotel. The staff will also shuttle you anywhere within Nusa Dua and collect you from places, which is a great service and something not available at large resorts (without paying). We visited the Sofitel while we there to compare, which is a beautful property, but is so busy with hundreds of rooms, you would not get anywhere near the same level of service. We went and used the kids pool facilities and had lunch, which was a good break but it was lovely to get back to the peace of Amarterra. Special mention to Tika and Yulian who will do anything for you and Komang and Ana in the restaurant. Overall, this is highly recommended - this was our 3rd trip to Bali after Legian and Ubud previously - Nusa Dua worked for us with our daughter as its convenient, safe and has Amarterra! Hopefully we will be back next year. Tips: - use the beach club and have an early evening bite to eat or cocktail at Inaya Putri Hotel, right on the beach - use the other hotels if you have kids who want water slides etc - if you want haircuts/pedicures/manicures go the Shampoo Lounge in Bali Collection - tip well - its not compulsory but is much appreciated - villas in the middle of the resort are likely to be the quietest - ensure the hotel know if you need a car seat for transfers from the airport
