If you’re coming to seminak this is the place to be! Right on the soho strip where all the bars, clubs and restaurants are. It’s about 1 minute walk to seminak square and 10 mins from a beautiful beach by potato head and ku de ta. The rooms were immaculate and the staff were the friendliest I’ve ever come across!! Very welcoming. The breakfast catered for everyone, I would recommend getting there early as it gets busy but the food is lovely. All in all, we would definitely come back here. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you !

Surprised with the warm reception by the staff from concierge to front desk and even housekeeping. They are always smiling and very helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Hotel provides 2 swimming pool and for those who want to go the beach, be prepared to walk 10 mins from the hotel. Hotel is very conveniently located along the street with many eateries of local, fusion, western, japanese, italian, food bars, massage salons and shops. There is shopping mall, Seminyak Village Mall just 10 mins to 15 mins walk away and a flea market just next to the mall. We had a great time staying here and enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel.

Right in the middle of eat street the entrance seemed small but the Hotel is a great place. It is a little walk inside which you may choose to substitute with a buggy ride. Excellent checkin, no delays, clean rooms and we stayed 3 nights all upgraded. The Batu Kali would be one of the best breakfast experiences we had in a 4 start Hotel. The best start to your days in Bali. The Hotel was a comfortable place with us being upgraded to a family room on our second checkin which was a elaborate room but a little hot to negotiate for the first hour before the air conditioning had effect. IF you want a good sleep excellent breakfast place at a reasonable price, look no more just book.

Stayed here for a week before moving on to Ubud. When we arrived I panicked as the driver pulled in to an entrance right near all the noise of the street, nightclubs, horns, singing etc! Was pleasantly surprised as the hotel is set a good way back from the road and you dont hear a thing from your room ! The location of the hotel is perfect. There is a little road as you come out of reception that splits the rooms and villas. Take a right here takes you to shops and left takes you to the beach in 10/15 mins. On arrival we got little tokens for breakfast served between 7 and 11am. There is a buffet style until 10 then then the last hour is a la carte. A la carte has some lovely choices and I actually prefer it to the buffet which can be manic especially between  9 and 10! Layout of the breakfast/drinks is a bit weird as the place is a proper restaurant during the day(not actually the Amadea but an independently run place at the entrance to the hotel). There is a great selection of food I tried chicken porridge one day! There is an omelette station and fresh bread as well as regularly replaced fresh fruit and yogurt. The coffee isn't the greatest but is welcome after a few too many happy hour cocktails at Char Chars! We spent some time by the pool which had really comfy sun loungers and happy hour cocktails. Food was nice too but as with any hotel prices are a bit more than the average nearby places. We heard a couple complain about this but this is to be expected in a hotel ! Every member of staff from the concierge to the gardeners are so amazingly friendly. And it never came across as "hotel friendly". Everyone asked about your day. Their friendliness is only out done by attentiveness and the desire to make sure you are happy! Even after a small mix up with the final bill, duty manager Lina was efficient and friendly in dealing with it. Overall we would definitely recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat Suksma!

what a great place to stay in the heart of Seminyak, the resort is set back off the main road so it is quiet and peaceful within the resort, we had a room on the bottom floor close to the reception and not far from the pool, the grounds where constantly cleaned as well as the pool area, they have buggies to help you get to your room from one end of the resort to the next, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, I would definitely come back and stay here again.

The hotel is a short walk down from the busy main road and provides a quiet and pleasant base within Seminyak reasonably close to a good selection of restaurants and local shops etc There are also a number of good restaurants and bars around 15-20 minutes walk away on the other side of Seminyak. The hotel is around 30 minutes walk from the beach down a busy main road which is not a particularly pleasant walk. That said, the beach was very long and quite impressive (although there were a few patches with litter which detracted from the overall beauty of the place) We had a poolside room which was clean and spacious and only a short walk from reception. The grounds are well maintained and the pool and poolside were pleasant and surprisingly quiet. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and arranged our transfer to the airport for our journey home. The poolside cinema evenings were a novelty which we enjoyed! Breakfast was served at a restaurant (not owned by the hotel) adjacent to the main road. We found breakfast to be a noisy and chaotic experience with the food being average at best. If we visit Seminyak again we would be happy to stay at the Amadea but would do so on a room only basis (and get our breakfast elsewhere).

Amadea is a great spot to stay at in Seminyak! The staff are so pleasant and friendly and they have yoga classes and movies for guests! We chose to rent a motorbike this time around and it was the best decision we’d made. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good as well. One downside was that my room was next to reception and the small roadway that all of the motorbikes use so it was noisy in the mornings. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a week from end of May - June and were very pleased with the hotel from start to finish. ALL the staff are to be commended for doing a super job to make us feel at home. We arrived after midnight but there is 24 hour reception so everything was fine. We did change room after the first night as we were initially placed along the path to the restaurant an paid an extra £12 per night for a room with a balcony on the first floor overlooking the pool. The porters are excellent so that wasn't a problem. The origami features on the bed every day was another plus as were the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom supplies. The restaurant was the only thing that was less than good. Again the staff were very helpful , and although they acked knowledge of how to provide a varied menu for vegans, they would go out of their way each morning to point out the food that was ok for us to eat. The spa is also more expensive than you can get at other places in Bali but the location is good.

This resort is really well positioned and is set back nicely from all the hussel and noise from the Main Street. The golf buggies work like clock work if you want to get a lift to the resort from the Main drag but we chose to walk. The rooms are basic but clean. A few rookie mistakes made by us - should of first checked about the shower in the bathtub as my days are gone trying to hurdle the bathtub for a shower. Second, if you book through a booking website and you request late check out and they come back and say no problem done. That actually means the hotel can do a late check out but you need to request it on your arrival and pay for it. Don't assume it's happening at the time of your booking! Look the staff here are super friendly and it's a good location. Ah the other thing - couldn't see a lift there so if you have a problem with stairs go ground floor.

After a long process of reviewing resorts based on pool, location, and services, we ended up choosing Amadea Resort, in central Seminyak. Overall the 4 night stay was good. Nothing to negative, nothing overly positive, but it was a comfortable stay, just with a few things that could be improved. Pros: - Quiet location as its set back from the main road (the buggy you to the front, but its a 1min walk) - Two pools, but both are rather smallish compared to other resorts - Friendly staff from checkin to checkout - Happy hour starts from 2pm for beers and cocktails! Cons: - Service around the pool is lacking or non-existant. the guys should walk around and come over to you to see if you would like something. Some days they did have flags on the sun lounges to wave to get their attention, but these were only out one day in the 4 days we stayed. - Curtains in the room and the pillows had stains on them, maybe mould? not sure, but new pillow slips and curtains need a wash! - Breakfast was limited and a long wait for an omelette or eggs! We ate here the first day, all the other days we went out on the road for other more appetising meals! Don't pay for breakfast. - Beds are rock hard - No ash trays next to the pool lounges, had to keep asking! Overall the place was OK. The pool was refreshing and clean, but the rooms do look over the pools so its not very private in the rooms (especially if you have a ground floor room) so it felt a little weird at times when people were on their balcony's over looking the pool, watching! Breakfast needs to be worked on, more options would be good, and more organisation in cooking fresh eggs. it took 20mins to get some eggs cooked! I would recommend a 2nd floor room, over looking the 2nd pool. These are quieter. I wouldn't pay the extra for a ground floor room, they're not very private at all. The doors closing in the hallway of the 2nd floor are noisy at times, especially at night time, but not big issue. Overall the value was OK, just over $120 per night with breakfast. Australian dollars. I would stay elsewhere next time just for something different, but it was a nice stay, helpful staff, and not to bad a hotel. Thanks for the holiday!
