Big and clean rooms with air condition and free WiFi. Staff is very polite, speaks good english and do their utmost to help you out when you approach them. Breakfast is very good with most basic necessites. The hotel is situated a 5 minutes drive from most tourist attractions in city centre. The reception organizes a taxi for you at a discounted and fixed rate depending on where you are going. Normally a trip to for instance the old town cost about €1,5-2 which makes this hotel the ultimate base to explore Baku. Take the card/number for this taxi company and ask restaurants etc to call for a taxi when you are heading back again. The hotel also offers a convenient and free shuttle to and from the airport. Top choice!
It is a nice hotel, very comfortable with friendly staff.Free shuttle arrived at the airoport on time to pick up and take us to the hotel. My room was clean and spacious.Overall good service and i didn't have any trouble
Very good location. Pretty close to the airport. Clean rooms. Friendly & polite staff. Food was deligious in the hotel. (normally l am not very happy with the hotel foods) I also do tourism business in Turkey and l can easily see that the hotel management was very well organised in this hotel. I was very satisfied :) I recommend this hotel to everyone who plan to stay in Baku. It offers you all the services in good quality.
We were not good time with breakfast and also staff not smiles but Resepyon staff help us can't recommend to everyone because we're not comfortable this hotel can't fleeing well. If I come to this country not this hotel definitely.
Very nice hotel would recommend to everyone 10 minutes Taxi ride from airport and the same from town, remember and use pedestrian crossing which is 200 mtr right of hotel as the road is very very dangerous to cross.Staff are very very helpful cannot praise them enough
I've stayed there a week ago or so. If you're looking for a well-known hotel chain presented there in Baku, be ready to spend some money, some of them are rip off. The city overall is overpriced, not to mention hotel accommodation. So I've chosen this hotel, since I don't really trust local brands. Location is off the beaten path to say the least. Although taxis are always there, imported cabs are equipped with meters, so you don't even need to bargain. The Old Town is within short ride, or a very very long walk, haha. I managed to arrange complimentary airport pick-up & drop-off, which definitely gives some added value for this hotel. Breakfast is complimentary as well, variety is so-so, but you won't leave hungry for sure. The room was spacious, quiet, clean. I was happy to be checked in very early in the morning. There're no tea/coffee amenities in the room, FYI. Wi-Fi is free & a bit slow from time to time, but still alright. Special thanks to Elbrus at Front Desk for taking care of us.
I stood 2 weeks in Days Hotel Baku, Babek Prospekt. There are some pros and some cons. I think that an effort is deserved from the staff, to make it a desirable place to stay. Rooms are very good, wide, but slightly noisy. The bathroom is wide and with a large shower. Cleanliness was perfect, air conditioning functioning well, as well as the fridge. Wifi is free, fast, although sometime it hangs, in his case just ask the staff and they will promptly restore it. I had a couple of issues, they were both perfectly solved but I had to climb up to the hotel management, as the staff was apparently not able to handle them properly. Finally everything was OK. So I think some effort shall be done with a specific training to the staff, on how to deal with some situations that may happen to guests. Also, a couple of improvements might be done in the bar. The staff was very quick, helpful, kind -with a special mention to the kindness of Ms Ayten- food was good, the wait times and prices were reasonable. All good but when you ask the check, it becomes really odd. I don't know if it was due to lengthy procedures or from the complexity of the cash register, but it took always long time, and the waiter had to go to every time down to the reception (one floor down) for all cash payments. A bit insane. Anyway, if you need to do do business in Babek, the hotel is good and well placed. If you need to reach the centre, it is just 10 min away with a taxi, which is 6 Manat. Room position: ask to be lodged on the side not facing Babek Prospekt. Rooms are more fresh, with almost no need for air conditioning, and definitely more silent. Yes, I would book again this hotel, because the overall quality of lodging was quite good.
One complimentary bottle of water per stay .. extortionate price for second one! ... Still waiting on the one I requested. .. They make you wait at desk when you check out whilst they check the mini bar in your room... makes you feel like a criminal! No coffee making facilities in the room and Internet connection very slow. ..staff are pleasant though.
I stayed here almost a year ago and rated it four stars out of five...unfortunately I can't give it nowhere near that level now. Waited almost an hour for a soup and main course, the place was NOT busy, no apology offered. Constantly have to remind staff to bring the drink I ordered with my meal, very rarely does it show up without additional prompting. Rooms on fifth floor are meant to be non smoking rooms but I found my room had a distinct odour that I put down initially to someone having smoked in it previously, during the night however I found that was not the case. The rooms are not sealed/insulated from each other properly meaning when people smoke in the lower rooms it permeates through the floors of the upper rooms! I woke repeatedly during the night with a room sticking of cigarette smoke...terrible! Almost all the staff from last time I visited had "moved on", it's easy to see why. Much room for improvement at this establishment.
I use this hotel during my travel home from rotational work periods in Azerbaijan. I have been using the hotel for around 2 years now and find it perfect for my requirements, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is good and reasonably priced, the rooms are large clean and comfortable and most importantly for me the hotel provide a free shuttle transfer to and from the international airport, most other hotels in Baku charge for this service if they offer it. This hotel also offers a good free Wi Fi connection. The hotel is a little way out of the city centre but that is not a priority for me. I will continue to use this hotel until my time working in Azerbaijan is over.
