Good hotel at a reasonable room rate. The only thing I feel not good enough is sheets cleanliness and lenten breakfast. Other aspects are just fine.

Clean rooms and king bed was surprisingly very comfortable. Free breakfast was very good. Attached Restaurant had good food and convenient since right on the property

Nice hotel, clean and good price per night. Was a little unsure where breakfast place was located so did not take the time to find it. Would be nice if it was near the front desk. Other than that, a nice hotel to stay.

The hotel was better than I expected. The lady who runs the breakfast area was great. She was the friendliest, nicest woman I've experienced at a hotel. And I go to alot.

Although this is an older hotel, it's rooms are large and the grounds are beautiful. The furniture could be updated but it is very convenient when traveling with a dog. Patio opens up to grass. Pool looks great. Easy access to freeway and restaurants. Would NOT eat at on site restaurant. Free breakfast was good

We've stayed several times at Hotel Rosedale. We had booked a King thru Orbitz, but when we checked in we were told King rooms were sold out. So we were given 2 Queens. The hotel's furniture I believe is been changed to have a more rustic/cabin look.

Very friendly staff. Will continue to stay there on trips.

Hotel was completely flooded. There were bugs in our room& bed. Worst hotel ever

We chose Hotel Rosedale while on the road and via the orbitz app. It was near other nice hotels but half the price. The price was right. When we checked in our room smelled musty and they had recently had a lot of rain. Apparently the window leaked and there was wet carpet. As soon as I notified staff, they offered us a new room which was great. Hotel is in need of remodel, but bedding and facilities comfortable. Breakfast was a bonus but typical American Breakfast of all carbs. Would love to see healthier food options, but the spread is pretty universal. Quiet location even though close to freeway. Secure with restricted access at all entry ways. Comfortable bedding (and I am picky) and soft towels. If remodeled, could easily charge double and get higher rating

I have stayed here before. Beautiful grounds. Dog friendly. The couch in my room needed to be replaced. And there was a bug in my room. Staff was nice. Hotel restaurant was awful. Pizza was full of grease! Would stay here again but in another room

The hotel was very rundown. There were holes in the blankets and in the curtains. The shower didn't work properly. There were large stains on the carpet. There were spots of spackle on the wall where repairs hadn't been fully made. It just wasn't comfortable but for us it was just s place to sleep for 1 night on a road trip home. I have never given a negative review on Orbitz. This was shocking to be rated so high given it's condition.

Spacious clean room with fridge & microwave. For an older hotel the beds were comfy. I'm from the area so I know it would be safe. Will stay again. Great pool area.

My expectations weren't high for a freeway-side hotel in Bakersfield but I was pleasantly surprised. The property is aging but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Our room was upgraded to a suite due to no availability of the room we requested. The suite was huge, very clean and relaxing!

Enjoyed my stay as well as the facility! The hole was very clean and the breakfast room is very peaceful and spacious

The man at the front was very polite and helpful. The hotel facilities were nice. It was clean, had a gym and breakfast, and as a single female, I felt safe there. But when I got to my room, the door wasn't latched all the way, which scared me a little. I think the housekeeping staff just didn't shut it all the way. The room itself was very clean, which is my biggest issue with hotels sometimes. The carpet and linens were clean. There were no cockroaches. The bathroom needed some work. The toilet was running when I got there. I had to fix it. The hot water in the sink didn't work. The shower handles were falling off and when I switched it from bath to shower, a steady flow of water continued out of the tub faucet the whole time I was showering. It was fine overall, just could use a little bathroom repair.

Great hotel for the price. Large pool, playground for the kids.

fit my budget, but dont compare the luxury hotel in Las Vegas. Clean, but some need to fix like wallpaper is old and the bathroom door is shifting, when we close the door, the bottom part slick to the ceramic floor. TV is old too.

We have stayed a few times at Hotel Rosedale. The hotel check in at 3pm, we got there at 2pm and they don't let you check in early. We know this. But we came back at 3:00pm and the front desk lady took about 20 minutes to give us the room keys. I understand when they are busy, however there was no one else but us. The rooms are clean, big, have a mini fridge, a microwave, toiletries, coffee maker with coffee, tea, sugar and sturdy coffee cups. The TV's are old, no LCD. A lot of channels to watch though. Continental breakfast is included with bagels, muffins, toast, boiled eggs, fruits, waffles, yogurt, coffee, water and juices.
