no good. the is green pool. the was to hot. no thanks

Since we were booked from Orbitz, we were presigned with two great quiet and connecting rooms.

Husband killed a spider in the bed. Housekeeping banged the door more then once early in the morning with the vacuum. Breakfast was no more than oatmeal, toast, and coffee. King bed was twins pushed together. Key didnt work second night. Horrible experience.

This hotel is located in a convenient area to fast food restaurants and hwy 99. It is an older hotel, in reasonable condition. My room was huge and quiet, given its interior location. The modest array of breakfast items did include cooked oatmeal, versus instant packets which I appreciated. On the hotel map on my door, I saw a fitness room noted and decided to walk around the building to check it out. The young man at the desk told me that there is no fitness room. The interior courtyard includes the pool, jacuzzi and a nice array of palm trees. My problem with this hotel, and why I would not recommend it to a friend, is the ever present smell of human urine outside. As soon as I got out of my car, at the front of the building, I was hit with this strong smell and it continued in areas around the building as I did my walk around exterior halls and the pool. Unfortunately, this took away from my experience and I would not stay here again. Many people did and do and honestly I don't know how one would correct the problem, but it's a deal-breaker for me.

Large vehicle parking was available. Staff was very friendly and made check-in and check-out a breeze. The room was large and nicely furnished. Bed linens clean and bed was very comfortable. The internet was fast. The free breakfast in the morning left something to be desired. It was very basic and I had to fight my way through foreign tourists just to get a few pieces of bread and a cup of milk. That aside, I would gladly book here again.

i personaly like this hotel isnt too expensive but it good enough to feel comfortable they dont offer much for breakfast but over all great establishment

It was hard to find because my navigation device gave me a tour of Bakersfield, but once there check in was ok. The clerk gave me my key and ten seconds of direction to find my room but I had to go back and ask her specifically to find it. The room was large with a sliding door overlooking the pool area, with badly worn patches in the carpet. The door needed attention, it was washed out and grubby and gave a bad impression, as did the hallways which looked dirty. The bed was nice, and welcome, It looked like this place used to be swanky, but has fallen into less-than-admiral repair and management. It's moderate in price, so you get what you pay for-- barely.

I thought breakfast was OK .the room was spacious and quite.. the staff was extremely helpful....and they always had fresh towels no matter what.

Very good hotel, worth the money.easy off and on to highway, pool and jacuzzi inside.definitely recommend

No problems encountered. The room was pretty clean and everything was in working order, except for the heater. It definitely needs attention. Lots of fast food in the area with a Marie Callendars around the corner. Also, Mimi's Cafe, which is just a little further, is terrific.

Staff was rude and acted like they didn't have time, reported room issues to them only for them to be ignored. Fridge didn't work, shower curtain was broken so water went everywhere, my disabled mom almost fell because of it.

The hotel needs to put more effort in cleaning and pest control. There were coackroaches greeting you and on the curtains. Not good!

The hotel is not well maintained. It looks old and patched, not well cared for

Overall, the hotel got the job done, but nothing more. Great service by the friendly staff, and great breakfast in the morning. The room itself looked like it could use some major updating. The furniture was old and very scratched up, lamp shades had buttons that were loose, and the TV was a tube TV that was on its last leg. We also found a toothbrush in the bathroom on top of the mirror upon arrival, and realized later that the bathroom fan didn't work. Because of the condition of and lack of attention to detail to the hotel room, it definitely would have been more worth it to pay the extra 10 bucks to stay in the Super 8 across the street (which I've stayed in before, and it's awesome!). I likely won't be staying here again.

The hotel staff was super friendly and very helpful. However, the hotel is old and can use some updating. The room as clean the beds were comfy but if you like pillows, bring your own.

I had to sign a lease and stayed at this hotel for a day. it was quiet lovely. They have free breakfast and you can make fresh waffles. It's very cozy and clean. It's a very inexpensive hotel but great value for money.

Room was clean but building in general could use a little updating....overall good value tho.

The building a whole could use some updating...overall pretty good

the staff was pleasant and helpful and the greatest asset to the experience. the room was comfortable, I was on the 1st floor and it would have been nice if the patio door actually opened to make getting luggage in and out easier, but I guess for security reasons, it was not possible to open it. breakfast was average. overall satisfied with the stay.

Specially asked to reserve a nonsmoking room. Three times in a row. Should be enough, right? No, wrong. Came late and the only rooms they had were smoking ones. Staff made a weak attempt to demonstrate how they are trying to find something for us, thanks for that. What we got for $100+ : disgusting smell, wet towels and bed linen, leaking taps. Maybe it was just a misfortune and other rooms are nice and beautiful, I do not know.
